i agree to death penalty , most countries legalized death penalty just like in the middle east , bad people like criminals , rapist , drug lords , drug pushers , should be sentenced to death , nowadays more and more people becoming evil because of money , drugs , they killed many innocents children/civilian without any hesitations ,, and for the payback they should be executed ,just to let know others that there is no room for evil deeds in this world , .

I think dead penalty is right decision. If death penalty been called of then more people will be interested to kill people.Suppose, many people don't like Donuld trump. They will try to kill him more cause the murderer will know that he won't be killed.

LOL... I am in favor of death penalty, but this is the dumbest comment I've ever read for a while. Donald Trump will be assassinated if he abolishes the death penalty? Seriously? First of all, he is very much in favor of retaining the death sentence. And secondly, it is ridiculous to say that abolishing the penalty will increase his chances of getting assassinated.

I consider countries standing on death penalty as ancient.  They need to wake from their slumber and realise that human life is worth more than whatever they're protecting.

Law is meant to be flexible,  not rigid.  It's meant to be amended when it starts hurting people that it is supposed to be protecting. Death penalty is inhuman and uncivilised.
Order and Chaos are like twin pillars of a kingdom. They have to coexist to each other. If Order was made to eradicate those who make Chaos then it will be just like an endless battle. Because whenever Order defeats Chaos, it just create even more Chaos.

So if the law make the rules more strict even if it could sometimes be very inhuman just to protect the people. I would only result more and more crimes. Because for one, Killing is not considered as Protecting.

True that we don't have the right to take anyone elses life but what about those lives that were taken away from us too? What punishment do they deserve if they don't feel any remorse of what they did. It is easy for us to say that because we haven't been in their shoe but if that happened to us too? Hopefully there will be a capital punishment wherein it would be fair for everyone.

We don't have any right to take away one's life, but knowing all those crimes and immoral acts, i had a doubt on death penalty. My point in death penalty is that we will only punish someone using death penalty if that person gets someone's life or simply put that this person kills because i think that since that person takes the victim's life, why not we also take his life. But this is not only limited to those who only kill because there are crimes that even though you didn't actually kill that person, you kind of kill that person in one way or another example is rape, So that's my stand on death penalty, i kind of agree to it.

I believe that we just borrow our lives from God. And He is the only one who have right to take them away from us.

You are right with that belief. Though, As for me I do agree with the idea of the death penalty. Why? If you look at the news today, There're a lot of cases in which the suspects commits Rape, Murder, and other crimes that most likely destroys one person's life. I must say that this is very much way out of hand. Who wouldn't want to see the suspect who killed or rape one of your friends, relatives, Wife, Daughter, son and etc. Suffer, and let them feel the burden of their actions. I would rather watch die slowly *You may say, that I'm brutal. I don't care*.

I agree with you.  They are right that it is God who have the right to take our lives from us He is the one who gave it.  But what about those innocent people who were taken their lives by these people by these criminals.  Is it fair?  I am for death penalty because if there is nothing to be afraid of these criminals then what would our planet be?  It will be full of criminals and evil minds. They will not be that so much afraid as whenever they killed someone they can be pardoned or still get out of the jail after several years.  Some may regrets their doing but what happened to their victims is unbearable.  I do not know we have different opinions.

100 percent agree.  I do not think we should reward murderers by keeping them alive in air conditioned prisons where they are fed everyday. If they are worthless to society they should get out.
No person is worthless, that is a very inhumane opinion. Even if that person commit murder, rape or whatever are their cases, we still don't have right to kill them. Aren't you realizing that by doing this could also make us murderers? Then what will be our difference to them? Then we should all die, if we implement this. Because we are all murderers, because we signed up for this.

Besides, spending their 'TIME' inside those cells is already like death penalty sentence. Because time is the most valuable thing in the universe.

Yes, I agree with this. Every human has worth. Every human deserves to live. Even those crimimals deserves it. We don't know the stories behind them. Some of them don't know what they did because of the influence of drugs. Time will come they will realize what they did is wrong.

I believe in law and order. if a murderer killed a person then he or she must get the capital punishment. my opinion is that, though he violets an individual life so that he also deserves the same type of consequences. the death penalty is the element of discouraging to do not act any harmful work against the human. otherwise, it should be rewarded.

The death penalty can be of a great help in decreasing the number of criminals in the society. But it can also cause great chaos to those people that are framed or just forced to take the guilt due to threats to their family or loved ones. The success of this penalty depends on the judicial system, so my answer depends on how judicial system will be implented

This is the problem. I don't understand keeping the death row inmates 30-35 years in jail. Does it takes that long to file all the appeals? If someone is sentenced to death, then the penalty must be carried out within the next 12 months time.

Every person who got behind the bars of a comma got there for one reason or another. Everyone has his own story and I believe that everyone has some second chance. I understand that I can now be rude and answer that I'm wrong. But I need to renounce and say that you can live differently. If you were in this situation, then I would like to know then your opinion on the death penalty.

I agree with it, if someone did something really bad and cannot be forgiven, I think he deserves it.

I was disagree about death penalty, it is big mistake to our God. We need to give another chance the people who doing bad things in this world, because God is the only one who decide to what are going to do, to a people who having a sins on him. Our, God forgive our sins no matter what it is very hard or not.  And when a people was doing mistake, we should give them a second chance to correct their mistakes. And i will trust that people are changing.

Everyone deserves a second chance. As long as they are willing to change, they should be allowed a second chance. It is only fair and killing them wont change anything. It is just one more life taken away. Isn't that just redoing what the murderer did? "A life for a life". So those who hung the convict should die too.
