I have too views for this, first is positive for this bitcoin bank idea. If banks will adopt bitcoin, then that will make the demand of bitcoin higher which can lead to price increase.

Negative, in a way first with its regulation, we are going to be taxed if we will use banks service associated to bitcoin.

And we are not anonymous anymore because they will require us our identities.

These are the two possible effects that will surely happen when theres a bitcoin bank and i would rather choose not to have it because it will expose of our identity especially when do hold huge amounts of bitcoin. I dont like to be taxed by the government and id like to have full control of my money and i wont entrust it to bitcoin banks.

No I don't most people won't agree either as no one person or company should control bitcoins as it was not invented to be and would make bitcoin like any other currency which no one what's I believe and so would not make it special which it as not one country on earth can control or run it the people do.

The difference is that you may ‘get a loan’ or ‘get interest’ with banks as well which our bitcoin wallets can’t provide. Bitcoin Bank is against the basic concepts of bitcoin but that is what people want the “bank” to be I assume. When bitcoin hits main stream of adoptions, people may start forgetting to demand for bitcoin banks.

People getting a financial gain such as interest over the coins they save there is the only reason. I can't think of anything else that people may find so interesting, that they throw away their full control over their coins. You said loans, but there are several other ways of how you can get a Bitcoin related loan. Think about certain Bitcoin lending sites, the community that you can ask for a loan, etc. No need for a service that is saying to be a "Bitcoin bank".

I do not understand the essence of bitcoin bank. Although there are already some banks in bitcoin information. Just the very foundation of decentralized bitcoin tells a different story. Therefore, it is not that clear.

Bitcoin can already be taxed when you submit your yearly tax reports to your local IRS. So in that aspect there is no difference with how the situation is right now.

Another thing is that if a service pops up calling itself a Bitcoin Bank, that it won't be anything like you see with regular fiat banks.

It will just be an existing or a new online wallet service or Bitcoin exchange offering bank like features to people being interested in it.

Most people like the idea of having the possibility of earning interest over their coins, which is also the main reason as to why they would support such an initiative.

The question is what a bitcoin bank would look like.
When it's just a place where they store your coins for a fee, well, that's what wallets are for.
When your coins are insured and the bank helps you buying and selling coins directly with your account, then it would be different.
I'm thinking of a bank based exchange, connected to the bank account. That would be something people have interest in.

I will support this idea only if if a multinational and well reputed company with big paid up capital starts this Bank.

Otherwise most of the people will stand a chance to lose all their Bitcoin savings. Bitcoin doesn't have any Central regulatary authority hence no one will be there to monitor the bank.

I think it is always better to use an offline wallet to store your Bitcoin instead of depositing it into a bank.

But i think that it is not need now, because we are already have our amount in our wallet and also we can exchange our amount easily and also we have no problem to transfer the amount, and everything we can do with bitcoin easily, even we can paying bills and selling and purchasing. So in the end i don't think that we need bitcoin bank.
