I ask myself this question too when I think of the concept of reincarnation, I wonder what it's essence is if we can not get even the slightest glimpse of a previous life, atleast to guide our faith in the belief of a future reincarnation. As far as I'm concerned we don't need to worry about whether we'll reincarnate or not because there's no proof of it, there's so much to worry about in this present reality.

In my tribe in Africa, they believe in reincarnation, mostly the elderly ones, because the modern youth are discarding the belief, my late father used to sometimes call me the name of his late uncle, he said that I'm the incarnation of his late uncle. My tribe believes that dead relatives always reincarnates and comes back to the family by being reborn into the house of any extended family, so when a child is born they consult oracles to know which dead family member that has reincarnated.

Deeply delighted on this comment as it speak volume inside me, beliefs make the heart and brain think towards that area of beliefs, by way changing mode psychological perceiving certain existance. Anything you can't see, feel or touch notwithstanding able to proof is of higher realms which may be spiritual.

The recantation people most time speak has no evidence and can't be proven most evidence show n by people who believe on it appears as mirage , just as some doubtable science or speculation proof human originated from ape that science or speculation has no proof, likewise the issue of recantation science current can't proof it until the creator review it to man kind.

Spirituality is actually diverse, people come up with loads of stories and unlike science, there is no way to factually prove this is true and you can't tell someone that a certain result was achieved from a particular Spiritual approach, else, how can it be verified.

People believe loads of things, if you really want to know the reality of reincarnation, I'll advise you communicate with your maker for clarity

My friend believes in this maybe because of his faith/religion and says if you were a good person on earth you could get to be given another chance on Earth as a different person and those bad people will get to be the scary animals or insects and I thought not ask him more questions on this has this might sound disrespectful to his beliefs. But since most of us here share almost the same beliefs ,when you die your soul goes back to the creator, and those that don't believe in God probably believe when you die it's the end of your life.

Who will give you such an answer if may ask? Because as far as I am concerned we all are very much alive and cannot predict what happened underworld. I don't think if there is anything like reincarnation because even the Bible made us to understand that it is appointed unto a man once to die judgment follows. that was written. And non of us was there when it was written, but just believe until you are Dead before you will understand. That is the Mistry of life, some things are left untold because you'll never know.

After death your spirit leaves the physical body (which is not the real you) and is moved to either paradise or hell where it await judgment.

Our "incarnation" as Christians is to be born-again by Holy Spirit. Once this is done, you become a new creature and start life afresh or like a new born child till you become an adult Christian. When you die you are taken to paradise.


So this👆 is the second chance the CREATOR of the Universe is giving humanity through JESUS CHRIST. It's a Wonderful opportunity to be saved from hell.  

billions of years ago we were all the plasma (sub atomic waves of energy) in the universe

our sentience only exists in our current life form
after death our energy breaks apart from the cells that keep it. and forms other things like ash, dust, dirt. soil. as we decompose or get cremated. that energy then may become part of a patch of grass. or is ingested as energy for worms that are then ingested by birds and then maybe other predators which then eventually returns to the land.

however we do not "come back" as grass, worms, birds or other predators.

each life is unique to the energy combination of its different constitutions. whereby the dna of a species programs a consciousness to be of a certain format and knowledge and understanding(abilities).

out current consciousness is solely built up of the experiences felt in this current existence. relying on the rules of the dna that limit or allow certain abilities to allow certain experiences and personalities to grow from our current life.. in short. new birth = new life/consciousness.. fresh slate. new start

we do no have memory of when we were stardust billions of years ago nor memories of that 0.001% of our energy that was the chicken we ate last night that added to our energy. nor are we psychically cloned minds of our parents. our conscience is created and dies in one lifetime. a hard reset where the energy of our body becomes something else without our consciousness following it

Nothing sure. This is related to religious beliefs. If you believe in religion then you better believe in it, if not then forget it.

I think this is a religious dogma. It's hard to explain unless you die first to find out and return to this world, but that's impossible.

However, my advice is, if you believe then you have nothing to lose if after death there is no world anymore, but if you don't believe and there is a world after death then that will be bad

I am open to all possibilities. If you ask me, is there life on other planets, galaxies etc I would say it’s definitely possible. Do ghosts exist, I think again possibly yes.

I am sceptical about reincarnation though, I just don’t believe in it to be honest. I have no evidence to confirm it either way but it’s just not something I believe is possible.

The body of everyman is comprised by 3 entities, his body, soul and spirit.
When a man does, his body is layed to earth to return to the dust it came from, his spirit goes back to his maker who is a spirit too and his soul is left to wander till the last day

All I know is that everyone has to believe in something!

With the issue of believing in reincarnation ,I think it centres around culture and for me we don't believe in it but  because I tend to have some kind of dejavu moments tends to give me clues of this phenomenon being real.

I personally do not see a need for reincarnation. I see life as a whole. Our minds separated from each other, giving us the mere illusion of individual consciousness. But what are we really? The universe observing itself. A singularity, expanding and dividing into infinite pieces and rearranging into strange patterns, yet still puzzle pieces which fit the same puzzle.

At the quantum level, our only differences are the quantifiable. No proton is different from another proton. No electron distinguishable from the other.

Therefore its not true.
If there is reincarnation and you still remember your past like, you will suffer watching your kins unhappy with their lives not remembering you.  Thats an eternal hell for someone's soul.

All these belief though are practiced to make those people behave. Kind of a reward for them. Its not so bad to see people very civilized though.

From the point of view of higher justice, reincarnation is not only possible, but inevitable. Simply because in the case of a single life, everyone should get an equal starting opportunity, and this is obviously not the case. But in terms of elementary common sense, you have to ask yourself - do I remember my previous life? And if the answer is "no", then the best choice would be to live your life as if it were the only one, without regard to reincarnation. Because if you do not remember your previous life, then in the next life you will not remember this one either. So what is the practical use of believing in reincarnation?

I don't believe in reincarnation because that is part of a certain people's belief system. It's 21st century, and even till this day no one has reincarnated in this world or somewhere else. Even if someone has got another life in the form of reincarnation, but no body has ever been able to prove that.

According to my beliefs, we have got this life for one time only, and it depends on us that how we can utilize it to do good things for humanity and for our loved ones. If we make something that helps humanity then we will live forever even after death. Death is an experience everyone has to go through, so always be prepared for it, but still enjoy every milli-second of this life.

I also believe that life can exist in other planets, and I believe in all those things that my culture thought me as a child. But, I've always been excited about exoplanets and astronomy, and that's why I believe that there can be some planets just like earth where life could exist.

Please tell me how you arrive at 0%. It doesn't seem possible to me unless perhaps I misunderstood your statement. Forgive me if I am wrong, but it seems to me that you are arguing that the probability of existing during a specific finite period of time approaches 0 when the range of time is infinite. So, in order to justify our existence in terms of probability, we must be reincarnated an infinite number of times (or live forever).

However, the probability of existing during any finite period of time does not approach 0, so reincarnation is not a necessary condition. Furthermore, you argument overlooks the relevant fact that we are alive now, so the probability that it is currently the time when we are alive is 1, and reincarnation is not a necessary condition.
