I don't really think that gambling changed anything from me.
I just gamble back then to enjoy my time when I am alone and doesn't have anything to do.
So it didn't really changed anything from me I am still the same before and even after I have gamble.
But if you would count the small time that you would feel angry or sad because of losing your money in gambling then I think it could only be the negative effect of it,
But it rarely happens to me only if someone annoyed me after losing a huge money from gambling.

I had a problem that I abused and called out "faith" to just gamble, and generally with me, when I was a teenager, society accepted me better, even though there were ugly comments, it was great and I was proud to be among the first in his generation to gamble, it may not sound the best, but nothing was wrong.

To be honest, I didn't change a lot while I started to be a gambler, I'm with the same attitude and a good self control, sometimes, I am just starting to gamble a lot, but I never be addicted to it, I know my limits and I know when I should cash out and leave before it's getting to be worse. I know also, few gamblers that become addicted and their life turn out to be a mess.

Are you a much better person now that you are gambling or you turn up worse after you started gambling, we are talking about the character here, there's people who became worse after starting gambling, while some people become a good decision-maker and had more control because of gambling so which version are you.
In my own personal opinion, gambling didn't change me at all since i started to play at the casino and in online gambling site because i know my limitations when i am playing gambling games such as poker, slots, baccarat and blackjack, and i know to myself that i only gamble for leisure time and entertainment.

I can say I'm more on the latter, I was worse when I was just starting out in gambling but I overcome it and now playing with cautious and has lot of control, I owed it to my early discipline and when I was not yet gambling, I came to realize that gambling will destroy if you cant control it, so right now I'm gambling comfortably knowing i am in total control of myself and my funds.

Actually I become a better person as well as a worse person, why? Simply because through the help of gambling I have become a man who has been good on decision making in which I am deciding things careful before I go and I have learned that through the help of gambling in which do not just go and go you must think the best decision in order to succeed. Everyday lives is a gambling it is a matter of fact of winning.

It is depending on the person's mindset because they have control over gambling if lose control of gambling then it will be a problem it will make the person worse, so better that we have control over gambling within our limits.

I’m the same person with the same personality now as before I started gambling. It only changes you if you have a gambling problem. Only gamble with amounts that you can afford to lose. Never take risks & endanger yourself financially, it’s just not worth it.

Entirely a matter of individual I guess. I also believe that gambling changes only those people in a negative way who become obsessive with making money out of this activity. As long as you play it for the entertainment purpose only and that too in limits, it is not possible to lose senses and money. If played for fun only, this game becomes boring earlier than many expect. Betting with limited amounts helps in avoiding depression.

I don’t think I have become a better or worse person after I started gambling but I think I have become a better person in the sense that when I see a gambler behavior I know and I don’t judge him even if he shows addiction.
I think anyone can fall prey of addiction. As for me I am the same person and maybe with a greater self control that I have learned through gambling.

I find it hard to buy the latter. It is easier to say that a person who becomes a gambler from being not is a person who somehow becomes worse because he is developing a new vice than saying that a person has become better because he becomes a gambler. Gambling is generally considered as a vice. More often than not, a person will benefit more from staying away from gambling instead of getting into it, except perhaps if by entering gambling he is avoiding other much worse vices or addictions and gambling is being used as a diversionary tactic.

During gambling just for fun and not to be a gambling addict in my opinion there is no good or bad side, when I want to gamble I will limit my capital and if I lose I stop playing and if I win it is luck.
Gambling can exercise patience and can control yourself when playing, so in my opinion playing gambling or not, for me it doesn't affect good or bad for me because I'm not an active gambling player, except being a gambling addict will have a bad impact.

As long as i am not having a personality disorder i am the same person and even if i have some issues i cannot judge myself, the people surrounding me should tell that and no one said anything about it as i am not an avid gambler, does a few in sports in soccer and tennis and if there is any interesting match that i watch and that is all i do and not obsessed with casino.

Well I can say im still the same person just like before I gamble, nothing is change because im not addicted to it. I play using the money that I can afford to lose and I know the consequences if I let myself out of control.

Gambling can change your personality if you're addicted to it or you have no discipline because many things will come up to your mind like how you can recover your losses or how to win continuously.

I see myself a little bit on the bad side when gambling, but overall, it doesn't affect my performance in other aspects and the way I treat other people. So, if I were to measure if I became a worse or better person when exposed to gambling, I see, for myself on how I view it (Based from movies with scenes associated to casinos, James Bond etc.), Yes, but not specifically means I am being worse in terms of other people knowing I gamble. As long as I can control my funds not to lose to much, I know I am on the right track.

IMO if you think you can make money out of gambling, you will become a worse person. Conversely, if you only think gambling as a form of entertainment, you will become a better person, or to be precise, will have better conditions to work.

There is nothing wrong if you party once in a while, right? Just don't overdo it.

Gambling does not change anything in my life including my personality so I cant say I become a better person or a worse person after started gambling.
Gambling gives me a lot of lesson especially in controlling myself, gambling also gives me some more new friends.
All in all, gambling does not affect me in the negative side but it gives me some positive effects.
Sounds contradicting  Grin , let's simplify by saying nothing much has changed.

As believe it or not based on popular research that gambling itself designed to 'deceive' in other words .. that's leading to bad things rather than good things most of the times, I've campaigned this matter since long time ago everywhere here in gambling section, well it looks like useless Grin .
People tend to be conscious that they would lose at the end no matter what but still they did play it all the time , what's wrong? There's something wrong in people's brain, that's the logical answer. You're guaranteed to become a worse person in gambling, that's what I can say.

Although I know gambling and have gambled, and now I rarely play gambling. But gambling has made me more able to control my emotions and can control my finances. Yeah gambling brings experience for me to choose a way of life, so I feel now I am even better after knowing gambling. and everything is stable, there is nothing bad in the side of my life.

I really haven't changed much in either way to be completely honest. Most people that know me haven't observed much of a change in my general behavior or decisionmaking at all, though that's probably because I consider myself to be the type of person that gambles in moderation, and I wouldn't call myself exactly addicted to gambling either. I've turned a bit greedy every now and then purely from the money involved in gambling, but I typically don't gamble a large amount of money anyways and I control my losses aggressively, so that's not much of an issue for me nowadays.
