Cryptocurrency is still evolving so it is a long-term goal of investment because there are lot room for growth in crypto so it will takes some years before it will fully develop. we have a strong community and lot of supporters so I believe crypto will make a big impact in the near future.
Long term investment or hold works in hand with patience and this is one of the most important requisite in cryptocurrency investment. Without patience, you are bound to sell your valuable coins for cheap during bear markets.
I have full belief in long term in crypto as this market has highest potential of growth in long period. I think Cryptocurrency is the future and that the day will come when they will be used every day by most people in the same way as credit card or online banking is used today. Because in my opinion the price of crypto will definitely increase very high in long term.

Do you really look for a long term profit, like the people who had bitcoin in 2014 or are you here trying to get a quick buck with a minimum effort?
Yes i do believe for a long term profit of bitcoin. But a year is too long for me. I just hold my bitcoin 8 - 10 months and waiting a chance to have great profits soon.

Having patience on holding coins is an excellent way to gain profits. I believing on holding coins for long term can make us feel relieve. It also may help financially and may be a good reliances to gain what we desire. And fortunately became more wealthier by striving hard to invest in this crypto world, and just dont lose hope and pursue to invest to achieve what you aim.
I prefer to make long-term investments because it gets more profit. But you have to do research on potential coins.

I do believe in long term investment, the reason why I’m holding my coin for a ling time and like you I’m hoping too that this could make it. I’m hoping that the price of all cryptos get higher. 
I believe that the short-term strategy is not for my character warehouse:) I prefer a slightly different way - to put the crypto currency in the wallet and forget about it for several years. Only in this case you will get a big profit.

Yes, I personally prefer long term than short term, long term allows you to focus on other things while waiting for the cryptocurrency prices to develop in order to get more profits.

but in terms of trade in order to avoid the risk of good loss by using a short-term strategy for a more secure position. indeed sometimes luck with long-term hold, but very risky when the price continues to decline.

Since I mostly get my coins by doing bounties, I look at the projects first before deciding whether the coin will be capable of long term or just going to be dumped immediately. That really depends on the potential of the project/platform/company, on how they will be by the time that you want to do anything with your coins.
I think we will see a consolidation over the long term. Many of the community coins and projects with no structure will cease to hold value. Moving forward, security tokens and projects that are based in countries with rules and regulations will be the winners. Bitcoin was the first and will probably hold long term but as governments move in and make things more difficult it may cease to hold as much value.
I see Cryptocurrencies still too small compared to the dot-com bubble, Blockchain a technology that is highly praised, capable of changing the future as the Internet has changed humanity, the current moment for it to burst is still too early. So I think the market will grow in the next few years. The most important thing to do is to invest in a cool head 
I hope that crypto will develop and in the future it will be a part of our life. Therefore, I invest and hold the coins for a long term.
