Do you believe in god? If you do, why do you believe? (give a few reasons)

Of course I believe in God.  He's the one responsible for the life that I have right now.  I mean Us.  He's our provider for all the things that we have seen, touch and feel right now.

I believe in God and he helps me make the right decisions in life and get everything I want. You just need to listen to his tips in the form of signs and life will become much easier.

The creator lives inside all of us. Why not start believing yourself?  Wink

Before we believe in the says of other people, we should believe first in God. God is the one who created all of us in this world. God want us to live in a world that is surrounded by happiness and love to avoid any problem. God is always in our side even we are committing mistakes. We should give thanks to him always by means of praying. God is good all the time.

I believed in god and all the teachings included in the bible.  He created man and woman.  Also the place where we live right now.

THE GAME OF CHANCE. CHANGED.

The little child with bone cancer is imperfect. The bone cancer shows it. Since he is imperfect, he is a sinner, even though it was foisted on him by his parents.

Thank God that He has found a way to allow us imperfect people to continue to live for a while. Thank Him even more that He has given us Jesus, His Son, so that we can even have eternal life when we believe.

Isn't God a wonderful God?! He gives us freedom to choose to be saved or not... to live eternally or remain in death/destruction.

Cool

We are not talking about perfection or imperfection here though, as we know people are imperfect in "design". I am asking why does anyone deserve, as the other user put it, live all their life in pain? I'm fully aware that religious people claim that pain brings people closer to their god - until they are in pain themselves, then it's back to the modern medicine again (for reference, see Mother Theresa).

This sort of being is not wonderful in any way, quite exactly the opposite! And to think that someone like you considers bringing chaos and destruction in the name of your god being a good thing, I just cannot understand.

I do believe in god.  He created the air that we breathe. The water that we drink and food as well. And the earth that we live in.

very believe, because he is my creator living creature in this world. Imagine if we are not created? can we still be like now? I give an example, try to slap your cheek. whether it hurts or not? if it hurts, can you see the pain? although we do not see the pain, does not mean the pain is not there, because we can not see the god does not mean the god does not exist even though we can not see , But we can feel his creation

I believe.

A lot of people will throw the "children suffer and did nothing wrong" and yes this is a terrible thing, people often don't look further. A child may die of bone cancer today, and cause someone or something else to happen to cause even more good.

I understand that not every death leads to something good or better, but even the simple fact that death allows for more life because the planet can only handle so many people and more are being born than there are dying.

That's just my thoughts though

I believe in God, because he created this world. He always observes everyone and gives each person what he deserves at the moment in assessing his actions and thoughts.

So according to you a little kid with bone cancer did some atrocious things to 'deserve' that?

Not to mention when he flooded the earth and killed *everyone* sinners and not.  :/

God is the one who created the amazing world where we live now. God is always around us to guide us in a right path that we should take and not in the path were our life become miserable. He is always there to protect us from all evil that is always around us. God is good all the time. Me, I believe in God and I thank him for all the blessings that he always give to us.

When you explain me creation of universe with proofs, not just scientific theories, I will follow you Smiley

So instead of scientific theory, which you can validate yourself, you choose to believe the words of your parents, who believed the words of their parents, all of who have been lied to?

If you really believe that, it throws your trustworthiness into question, since you will believe anything you are told.  Sad

The only validation of science theory is the validations that scientists have already done. Scientists have validated that science theory is theory, not necessarily fact. If it were fact, it would be science law, not science theory.

So, let's use science law which - cause and effect, complexity, and entropy - to show that God is real.

Lets keep things like big bang, evolution, black hole explanations, gravity explanations, etc., in the realm of theories, where they belong. After all, those theories have never been proven, and probably never will be.

One further thing we can do. Make science fiction stories out of the science theories. Science fiction prompts the new generation to continue investigating. Stale, old science theories have lost their luster for doing that.

Yes i believe in God the reason why because God is my creator and God created the world. If you read the the Bible says in Genesis 1 that How God made the world. Then to New Testament John 3:16.

So you believe anything you read?  You ignore what you can observe?  That makes you an untrustworthy fool.  Sad

In fact, scientists can only discover great work of God and nothing else.
They can't create universe again or understand what happened before creation, only God knows.
Many great scientists in the past understood this fact very well and believed in God.
Yes, I believe in God, great creator of all universe and my Heavenly Parent!

Sorry to hear of your mental illness.  Sad

Once one reaches puberty, they usually realize their parents have been lying to them and fairy tales do not exist.

When you can prove the existence of god without referring to the words of brainwashed people, I may believe - we ALL may believe.  Smiley
