Try to know your skills first, if you believe you can win gambling in the long run then that is the time to risk and invest on yourself. It's gambling and a game of chance and your luck is important but you cannot rely nor trust it as it times of trouble you can't expect to come and help you. Be smart enough to know that we do win if we are consistent with our picks and understanding we can't win all the time is a must.

Skills would only vary if you are playing on a particular gambling game that does need experience and skills like sportsbetting and card games but you will always need luck in order to win and you are right we must not fully rely on it always because not all the times that we are lucky and might lose the money we play on gambling. This is really a game of chances on which results are truly random.

yeaa it is true that all of them need each other, not only luck determine your bet will win or not.
but in certain games that i believe nothing required but luck such as a dice game that no matter you have used a lot of strategies the outcome will be the same nothing changed. but sometimes i admit do a random bet and rely on luck only.

I think to win money gambling whether your lazy or not important. But luck is very important. If you're lucky and even though you're lazy than surely you will win big money. If your very active and no luck then you can't win money even with superb strategy also.

But have your tried to win in the long run basing on your luck alone? I guess you do not, because luck cannot give us success to win in the long run. What I am trying to emphasize here is that, you have to be more realistic with your objectives in gambling and for you to analyze your chances you need to base on realistic data that can be measured, and luck cannot be measured, right?

Personally I think is a lot harder to walk away when you are losing because you keep thinking in the money you lost in the session unlike when you are winning because you know you can walk away any time and still be on profit.
