I used to believe in the news a lot but not as I used to, the US election last year has me questioning the truth of every news that being being peddled by most television stations nowadays because they are all telling their version of the truth which makes it hard to find the real truth.

Or do you think media is independent ?

This is really a very good joke. The funny thing is that there are still people who believe that mainstream media is really independent. I guess they would not understand the joke...

No.

I don’t actually believe in anything said by the media. I stopped believing long time ago because it is more than obvious how biased they can be - China, Russia, Islam, Muslims, you name it. I am glad because most of the things they say is bullshit on a completely different level.

Sometimes lies hidden behind the truth.
I think the news is printed with truth and false.
I believe 70% of the news, 30% do not believe.

If you mean mainstream media then yes it's centrally controlled and can be very biased. If the News is covering some US Military incursion then they can result to propaganda. I don't really watch news anymore as I stopped buying televisions years ago. I got tired of all the flashing colors in my face and the fake food and medication commercials. Sometimes you have to just unplug, go outside, and enjoy nature.

Who the hell wants to live in constant fear? Freedom is the spice of life.

Most of the time I believe in the news. There are still news that are legit. Some are even independent and willing to go against the government just to deliver the truth to the public.

If you really need to know a true answer to your queston, just watch the movie about James Bond again.I forgot the name of that episode, it's where the media magnat manipulates politicians of different countries, using his self-made news.

Most of the information is the opinion of a person or group of people. So you should not be 100% trustworthy in the news, you should check out the sources that say exactly ? before you go tell others  .

I think media can make people change their think about how things look . Many truths have been misread by the media, causing the reader to misunderstand the subject and misjudge the subject . I don't believe 100% about media

Quick news updates are very useful for us. Every day I have the need to receive and treat some information so watching the news is very necessary. As today, typhoon No. 12 hit central Vietnam causing heavy losses. Thanks to the news that people have plans to flood quickly.
