I think most of us have similar story being aggressive and weak character, in sense of loosing control once we were about to loose. I have gone through same process which made me mature gambler. That just prove that experience is the best teacher, I admit I have also a problem on lack of self control in gambling but due to my sad experience that I lose a big amount of money, I am not very careful in gambling and will do everything to control myself under any circumstances.

I can easily say that yes I can control myself now but then base on my experience at first when I tried to gamble, no I don't. I tried to gamble because others are earning big from it so I was enticed to try it to. At first I deposited a small amount just to try it and then I am consecutively winning that my profit is already twice my capital so I just continue betting hoping to get more profit and then it hit me, I have consecutive losses until such time that my deposit are all depleted. I am getting emotional at the moment and then I deposited a bigger amount hoping to get back what I lose and then lose it again. I can't control myself anymore until all available funds that is not suppose to be for gambling was already deposited and I lose it again. After all my available funds were lost, that's the time I realized how stupid I am being greedy and all and then I learned my lesson. It is easy to say that this is the amount I will gamble today but then when you are already in the situation where you are almost done and reached your target profit and then you have consecutive losses, it's really hard to control yourself. So what I do is that I just avoid gambling because I don't trust myself when I am in that situation again.

By losing all your money, you're only getting yourself into an even worse mood. Even if you decide how much to bet, you will loose it if you have money on you.

Same here when i play gambling if i gonna lost it i double my bet to back my lost but i have no luck. I can not control too my self i'm greedy in gambling if i'm win i never want to stop until i can not get big profit. If i double my money i never want to stop. So more on i lose because of my greediness i always lose that why i stop gambling.Well that would be a lesson learned for you to stop or minimize your gambling times so you cannot get mpre affected if you losed big amouny of money from it, and its better for you just to set some limitations upon you gambling so you can slowly quit whenever you want to quit anytime you want, but bad things will happen if you dont listen for some advices here its because if you let the greed eaten you theirs a big possibilities that your wealth and family will compromise in the future just because of your bad gambling habbit.

Try to somehow limit your gambling cash - hand it to your family or something. You will not be greedy anymore because you won't have what to bet with if you loose.

what you have just said is all about the nature of an "addicted gambler". but there are people who play gambling just for fun and even if they loose they dont try to play again because they know about the risks and have a good control over their mind unlike addicted gamblers. in my opinion, you have to have control over yourself when you are gambling otherwise you should not even try it. because not having control has terrible consequences which can lead to disasters.
besides controlling yourself is not a hard thing, especially if you have just started gambling. you have to practice it for your life too.

After losing big amount with martingale now I am very responsible with gambling, and I can say this without any confusion I can control over my emotion during gambling, I know this how went bad this could be and there is no guarantee to get recover after losing amount, I play with some limit and it doing very good work for me.

WHen I'm start to gamble, I'm set my profit and loss so I can't control myself and will no regret if I'm face lossing.

Since I mostly bet on sports when I lose a bet I usually try to recover if I succeed on recovering I stop betting and if I don't I still stop and then move on the next day. My only suggestion for you if you can't control yourself you should make yourself busy as possible so you don't have time to gamble. if you can't control yourself and your gambling habits then you have to stop gambling immediately (the sooner the better) because people with no self control in gambling will end up losing lots of money in no time and you will regret it after it is already too late.
Even it's very hard to make stop after making a good amount but I can say this about myself it's normal for me to take a break after winning some amount, after very bad experienced I learned this lesson gambling is not to get rich there, if we are lucky than we can make little part of amount.

Win or lose is not depend on more than one betting in gambling, if you continuously playing gambling one by one, than of course your losing is more than winning. So play it but always remember one thing and that is your amount, if you play gambling with a lot of amount than always you disappointment, so better is than don't forget your pocket.

Just set yourself a budget every time you gamble. Set aside an amount you want to play/gamble with & when it's gone it's gone. Don't go over the amount you're happy to gamble with on each separate day/occasion.
