Depending on the taste of our friends. Some of them really aren't for Bitcoin and feel like they're going to buy it expensively so they choose other assets than it. It's fine for me and as long as I've told them the advantage of owning it, they are on their own and this market is highly volatile for those that don't have Bitcoin. Having Bitcoin is giving them the safe haven on this market and that will encourage them to stick on it for as long as they can and until they see that they've made such money already from it.

Good friends support you and share their knowledge at many times in your life. It is easy to access information, but knowing how to use it is important. If your friends talk to you about how to use information or about the information they use, this is valuable. People can be influenced by the people around them, and in some cases, success comes through this influence. That is why your friends are important, and both you and your friends benefit each other at many times in your life.

Telling your friends about the advantages and returns of Bitcoin investment allows them to have ideas about investment. Deciding to invest should be up to them. This depends on the friend you are taking about. I ha e normal friends that doesn't do crypto, some knows I do crypto while some doesn't know, some other friends I have do crypto. The thing is, even if you are doing crypto, I'm very observant when it comes to my share of crypto, it's not everybody that I do share my crypto discussion with, I know somes guys as friends that feel insecure when you tell them what you have and I have some friends that doesn't do crypto but feel okay discussing everything with them.

Human being are different and you can't discuss everything with everyone you think are your friend, not just really it has to be crypto but anything financial together. There are some guys do consider me as a friend which I don't snub them but we have never for once discussed anything crypto for once, it's always about academics because of their beliefs, till now you can't convince them otherwise about crypto and I respect their decisions, not a do or die thing.

It really depends on the friends I meet, there are friends who connect when discussing finance, especially about crypto, and there are also friends who don't like to discuss crypto assets, some even skip crypto even though it has been explained well. Basically, what I know and learn about finance, I will definitely share the information with friends, especially close friends because I don't want to be successful alone, I want them to have the opportunity to achieve financial freedom in the future.

However, I still maintain my own privacy about the assets I have and what I should keep so that I don't need to tell them. I only provide information on how to manage finances in old age by investing in crypto and do not direct them to invest in certain coins. Because I think it is an obligation as a friend to provide information and support each other to those I consider friends.

that does make sense, even though they are our friends but of course there are boundaries about what we need to discuss with them; and about our source of income it doesn't need to be discussed with them, just let them guess how much money we get each month. tt's better to keep the topic of our financial condition away from our friends, because as you said that no one can guess what a person is thinking, how their heart is after knowing how much money we get each month, just in case we have to pay more attention to small things like that so that there will be no problems in our friendship in the future.

No matter how close or the level of relationship I have with someone, I don't discuss my finance with them. They can make their guess but I would never tell them how much I make and when I get my payment. Our discussion most times can be on sports, social lifestyle, work, economy, government, crypto, investment opportunities and more but I will never mention my monthly expected income during those discussion.

The reason is because, no matter how well you think you know someone (your friend), you can never know what their thoughts are, because you are not seeing their heart you don't know what they are thinking. Friends can act so sweet around you and show you how much they love and care but deep down in their heart, they could be envious of you, especially if you are earning more than them or maybe if you are a competitor.

Another reason is that, when a friend is aware of your income, they could make it a habit to ask you for help or ask you to loan them money all the time and when you ignore their request, they could tag you a bad person because they already know that you are capable of filling their request and just didn't want to. I had this experience once and it caused an issue between me and the guy.

If you have a good relationship with that friend of yours, there is no problem discussing crypto matters with them but not about your holdings. You can as well introduce them to crypto but you will also need to tell them the risks involved with cryptocurrency and not only the brighter side of it. You have to be sincere in letting them know about the good, bad and the ugly side of cryptocurrency then if they develop interest in it, you educate them. A friend is someone who you are comfortable with and can relate most things about your personal life so there is need for both of you to know what you engage in so that you don't raise suspicion against each other because if you fail to let each other know about what you do for a living, it will create a distrust between the both of you and we can't really call a situation like that as friendship. However, except for people who are dear and close to you, it is no body's business to know about your personal life and what you do for a living.

Brilliant, you do not have to disclose your worth, we know how friends can be sometimes, but discussing financial hustling and opportunities with friends can't be bad. I am the kind of a person who is not selfish, my conscience will not even let me, so I discuss every earning opportunity I know with my family and friends, and even my neighbours who had the opportunity to spend some time with me. This is a small world, we can't benefit from everything alone, so why not let those close to us also benefit?

Politics is a hot topic too but it gets boring quickly.

Money on the other hand; no matter how much you have it, no matter how much you talk about it, you can’t have enough of it.

It is probably because my friends are just like me. Once we start talking about money, we can’t be stopped easily. There is always something new in the news and those news always affect the markets positively or negatively and just like that we have infinite material to talk about.

I think the tittle of this thread is not in the correct form. It should have read "do you discuss money with strangers?"

IMO, like minded friends are the perfect people to discuss issues like this with or no one. For someone to address anyone as friend simply means they have come along way and seem compatible. It doesn't matter whether you discuss the amount or not but your friend already know your worth or source of wealth. Unless you're just getting to know each other, this information can not be hidden from your friends. By the way, you can't just meet someone in couple of days and start addressing them as friends. Friends are suppose to be an idea sharing partner in the first place be it wealth creation or other life problems because friendship is all about trust and loyalty.

However, it's not ideal to share such information with casual friends or coworkers who you accidentally meet with. Discussion should have a limit with any random person especially in the aspects of money or related matters. Politics is a good idea but in most cases, it doesn't always end well. Hence, I don't find it interesting unless with very close friends.

Although crypto holding might be too personal honestly there’s nothing bad sharing an information about crypto related stuffs but, just know the kind of friends you play along with. For someone who hardly make friends will be comfortable sharing financial information, why call someone a friend when you’re not close to an extend even at some point people change. When my close friend is aware of the kind of work I engage it’s normal to discus about work, free activity during work, finance along side politics, sports etc. There’s nothing so personal and it’s advisable crypto holding is secure that’s why it’s hidden else I’m certain most people will disclose the information willingly.

I don't think its a good idea to discuss about crypto and bitcoin investment's with friends because at any point in time at the sight of your rapid progress jealousy and envy may kick in at any moment.So I think it's best to discuss on topics relating to sports and politics rather than your financial life.As for me I have few friends which we all grew up together as kids and I don't keep anything away from them because we have really helped ourselves in so many ways.When it comes to income and side hustles we are open to each other and if there is any way anyone can help the other we always put in effort.We trust ourselves and also share other possible means of income with one another in other to achieve a greater goal and build a stronger bond.

Well others can hide discussing about bitcoin from their friends due to security reasons, but my own case is different, I discuss business and bitcoin to them but of course we must be conscious about how we interact bitcoin matters to. As many May no be happy with your progress sometime. Instead of even discussing financial issues with friends it's better to look for other form of conversation to be on a safe side.

Most of my discussion with my friends are 80% money and the remaining 20% is for general issues. I don't have much friends, because there is a big difference between those we call friends and people we know. My friends are just 3, but I know many people. So if I discuss money with my 3 friends, I'm always very comfortable with it. I must say the truth, discussing money with them, has really helped me in life. It's always been what's pushing me to keep making more money. Talking about what business to invest on, where to expand existing business to. I'm always comfortable discussing money with my friends and I tell them what I need them to know as regarding my financial situation,and businesses I'm looking forward to investing in. Their advice has saved me several times from making bad investment decisions.

Well in my very small circle of friends, we have been with each other since high school so to some extent I think we have know each other, we discuss even crypto and the coin we can possibly invest in, we share ideas but we don't share our pass key for you can't trust anyone to that extent. So we discuss about our side hustle too, like betting investing in some online projects. So I think if you find comfort with your friends and you don't envy each other it safe to to discuss stuffs like this within each other. To me it better to carry your friends along with the hustle rather than giving each other money. It safe to discuss stuffs like this within friends especially friend who share same goal and ideas with you. Though every have different opinion to this because we all have different kinds of friends.

Honestly, it must rely on my relationship with my friends since, despite their closeness to you, not everyone wants to see you successful. Opening up and sharing your side hustle with others may be quite hard. If you tell your friends about it, they may ask you to put them into it and start earning money, but they are unaware of how long it takes you to reach your goals. It might be a mistake to tell people how much you make since people can take advantage of knowing a lot about you and bring their problems to you.

However, I'm not sure why some people claim they don't hang out with friends who don't talk about money; I have a different set of friends, and we have time for everything, including talking about money and arguing over the best football team. But to tell friends of mine that I make so much money? No, it will be tough for me to share that because if you are the one making the most cash among them, they could expect you to pay their bills at any moment and even take a loan from you without repaying it because you already have more money than they do.

I do discuss the economy and general advice when it comes to cutting costs and saving, I also discuss a lot about the nature of money and similar topics, so while I have never been open with them about my small investment in this market, I am pretty sure they have their suspicions I have invested in this market, taking into account that they know very well I have always been very skeptical about fiat money and central banks.
