With addiction as a side effect of gambling, I do wish to know what exactly the success rate of your gambling is. How many times have you not found yourself facing simply losses and that you still pin hope on success?
I don't see any success in gambling and I didn't hear any story of a poor gambler who became rich with the help of gambling. I can't say the exact success rate in gambling but its pretty low and will be lower if you don't know how to control yourself in gambling. Maybe you can become successful if you see gambling as an entertainment and for fun only.

I think gambling is for happiness so whenever I am doing gambling I can feel the adrenaline which can be capable of making me in short term so yes I am getting happiness (success) from gambling.

Good question, there are two type of gamblers. Gamblers who are looking for adrenaline, fun, or entertaiment by spending their money and gamblers who are looking for money only. So success in gambling might be different based on the main purpose why they do gambling.
Of course more than 90% of gamblers are looking for money, only few percent who are looking for fun like you. So I believe the main idea of this thread is about "success in gambling = win much money".
Finding success in gambling depends on whether you are looking for huge winning from gambling or whether you just want to have fun. The former is not easy to come by which is the reality and the latter is not actually that easy either unless you are disciplined enough, so at the end, success is dependent on the two variables mentioned.
Honestly no I don't. Maybe there are some but me in myself I do not find any success in it especially to those people who makes gambling a source of income. For me, gambling is just for fun and we do not need to take it seriously. For me, number of loses is more than the number of winnings so it is much better if we just save the money we use in gambling.
Only few people do.I don't find success in gambling when I've found out that its easier to trade and be successful there than to gamble. Gambling isn't really for everyone that is chasing to be successful there, although there are people who became successful there but if it isn't for us, it isn't for us.

For luck based games, it could be true but for sports betting I think you can win more than your loss.
In sports betting yeah it's different you can analyze and have your strategy on what to bet. For some gamblers it's possible for them to have more wins but for me, it's difficult.
It's the same for me. I even start thinking again that sports betting is mostly luck based. But does it stop? No. You feel that your efforts have now borne fruit and here onward you will surely win every time you take a shot in that game. But what happens? You lose again by a margin thinner than the previous time.
In this way we are lured every time for that success almost at hand, which we saw but could not get hold of. And we try time and again because it is so near. The truth is that you will find you end up losing everything in the hope of laying your hands on that success. Only the extremely self-controlled man will stop himself from further gambling the moment he tastes success.

I'd agree that there are a lot of times that we are lost in gambling, that is fine since no one is really that successful in gambling. There may be some gamblers that is successful but most of the gamblers is not.
I don't want to gamble that much since I know that I will be just losing in the long run. I don't get it why gamblers are still addicted to gambling since they can also bet their money on investing. Betting your money I think is the same as investing unto something, the only difference of them is that the time when they will be getting the profit and the chance of getting a profit or a win.

I never find anything positive towards gambling because gambling is just for time not for money making the machine. I never consider gambling is another source of income because the chances of making money are very difficult and sometimes addiction will also kill us on our expenses.
If you make survey in the world, you will find nobody saying that he has won lot of money in gambling and assumes it a good thing for making money. Gambling is not a business where you can make money. It is a way of losing money easily. Finding success in gambling is something I believe comes as luck and I do not expect that anyone should be concentrating on it hugely as long as they know they want to see tomorrow in a different light and not in the aspect of an addict. If you want success in gambling in longer format then it will be impossible because the probability of loss is more than the winning.But that is not the right thing to do in gambling because it will destroy why we are going for gambling which means we will only get tensed rather than enjoying the adrenaline from gambling.

You'll never find success to gambling because you already said it.And don't go too far with it if you have decide not to create it as a source of income because it shouldn't be. As long as you cannot control that mindset as a gambler and accept that gambling is just a game of luck and as long as you see it as fun, you are on the right track, and every other thing else you are basically on the wrong track.

You can't be success into something if you'll never experience failures and losses. In gambling, losses are very normal and success is also normal but that's not literally what success means for most, yet for most of the gamblers if you win big amount that can be considered as an achievement and success. Success stories in gambling is very rare but I admire those people that really find a well living with it though its not applicable to my lifestyle.Some of those single successes are also based on previous experiences.
