I see too much greed still left on the minds of many people here. As long as there are people who want to sell their bitcoins for $$$$$$$$$, bitcoin price will stay on the downside at under 300 for a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time. So, deal with with it, bitches!!!

why 300? 300 is only the launch pad for a very high price, if we broke that for a while we can continue to 400-500 and so on

i'm not going to do anything until 2-3k-10k range and you should do the same, otherwise this beat will never grow, if for every little new record there are huge sell pressure

Well, I think that if it goes to 300, it certainly will go back to less than 300 before getting over 300 again. That's why I stated the question...Sell depending on the speed of the rise?

It has been to 300 before, and then lower than 200, then up, then down. I see many responses "I will not sell until 1000 or 2000" but in that case you are likely to "lose" lots of ups and downs.

300 USD isn't anywhere near enough to make a difference. 'When' we reach 300 again I will do the same as I'm doing now - HODL.

I'm in this thing for the long term.

$300 is nothing. If we go over $300 I'll probably decrease my buy rate slightly, but I don't plan on selling any until we hit 5 figures. At that point, I will cash out my initial investment. I then won't cash out anymore until we hit 6 to 7 figures.

My plan if it goes up to $300 is trying not to get excited.
It has happened so many times the past two years, then falling back again, it's frustrating!

Would you sell? Would you buy more? Depends on the speed it gets to that price?

Personally I doubt if I would convert them to cash or hold. What would you do and why?

I will not sell a single satoshi from my cold wallets if the price isn't at least $1000. Regarding the coins I have for trading trading purposes, I would definitely sell at $300 as I am more than happy with 30% profit  Grin

I would spend few of my bitcoin, because it's annoying to sell my bitcoin.
I might sell or spend all of my bitcoin when bitcoin goes up to $10000 or more

No, not really. I plan to hold next 5 years. I am not a short term trader. I tried doing it but I just end up losing money. So when we go to $300, I will just keep holding and hoping we will continue a rise.

The only time I would consider selling just to buy a but lower if I would see a parabolic rise, let's say if we go to a $400 in a matter of 48 hours. It happened already many times in Bitcoin history, these parabolic rises.

I will want to see it going more higher that is my plan.Honestly I don't see 300 $ something to be excited at because price will higher anyhow.I don't want take risk in trading and always go for sure way.For me sure and secure way is to hold and ignore temporary pumps/dumps which happen timely. My plan is to sell at higher price in few years.

Exactly the same thing I'm doing now gather, gather, gather and more gathering. 300 $ is just 60 $ more then now, and by some news around the internet price will go much higher, there is a thread on this forum price of 1 bitcoin will be even 18 000 $ ( for me its exaggerated).

I will sell some part of my holdings at 300 $ and then buy later when price drops again. This way I can maintain not only my holdings but also gain some profit.I have my plans for both short term and long term.I don't think price will go suddenly up once so why not to take profit on short terms when small pumps occur.

I don't have any plan for short terms.I will not sell less than 10000 $ and will wait that day to come when my plan will meet to its goal.I don't see it a big deal to reach 300 $ as this is nothing.Once the Bitcoin will be on peak its value will be many times higher than now.

I will do the same as last time it went up to 300. Buy more every month and hold on to what I already have.

I have stepped away from any form of short term trading, simply because I'm not good at it. Furthermore, I don't need a couple hundred of profit, I'd rather take the big win!

300 is nothing. I'm hodling until 30000 at least. Hell, I'll still be buying as much as I can at 300. How n00bish are you???

This is more of the mind-set I expect to see when we're talking about holding bitcoins and "what would you do" are this price point threads! We can't get excited or make any big plans around something that's as plain as potatoes. Everyone that's been around this forum for awhile should know that holding onto bitcoins is the right thing to do. Everyone was given a hint when the price jumped above $1000/BTC about what the market is capable of in such a short period of time. Don't get caught with your pants down again, we're being handed an opportunity as low prices to get in and still be "middle"-adopters.

Actually I'm looking more... $ 500
If bitcoint's value reach $ 300, I'm still want hold it rather than convert into local or purchase goods since I think bitcoin able reach more than current one.

The short term speculator will sell some at $300, because they would make a small profit. I on the other hand think that the Bitcoin price could very easily reach the $1000 in 2016, just after the Halfing. I will wait for that to happen, rather than selling now for a small profit.

I never sell more than 50% of what I hodl anyways. Just to be sure.  Cool
