I am more on hoarding than spending when it comes to bitcoin. I like monitoring the amount of my coins so I can sell them in the future for profit. How do you get your tips? I am just curious. Please share Smiley

I like to spend my bitcoin on trading sites. Buy some very cheap alt-coins with a good potential then I hoard it for a month. I wait my profit multiply by 2 or even bigger. That's how i spend it but sometimes i lose bigger than what I spent because i get nervous when it rise then suddenly goes down.

Im hoarding bitcoins for about a month now and so far i have been getting a decent amount every 3 days and my stash of bitcoin is getting bigger i have a plan for my bitcoins that is why i dont sell them now.
The plan that i have is just plain simple to get as much as i can right now and sell all my bitcoin at a high rate (what ever suites me and see that i have profit a lot).

Actually i prefer to spend it. Because usual i did not to hoard my btc with a long time it is just will survive for several days. It is because i always spend it to play gambling, buy credit phone and exchange them into cash.

I'm not very fond of having my money leave my pocket/wallet...  So I hoard as much bitcoins as I can but spend some when I want to.  I think this should be normal because bitcoin is a currency. And currencies are meant to be spent.
I totally agree with this as I do the same thing as you do.
I don't like money or bitcoin in this case not dong anything just sitting idle.

Agree for this moment I intended to hoard rather than sell it because I'm waiting for halving to and speculates that I can earn a little profit with this time because I only save a little btc  just intended for this event, and really I can say many people do the same way to as they speculated halving will be the very best milestone for Bitcoin history and it well be good for us users, and let see for the future and were surely hoping for this price high will stabilized.

i do love bitcoin but hold doesn't seem smart to me...
the future seems great, it will probably grow more and more but what if it just drop to 1$?

Halving will be good(my hope) but bitcoin might just dump in a snow ball effect so now i have multiple investments. and bitcoin is used as a currency (buying stuff with my profits).

I'm not a person who likes the boring stuff like hold bitcoin and wait a long time for the high prices ?
I prefer it with something challenging such as spend it in gambling or trade. but I mostly use for trade. I think it was more profitable for me than doing hold

The more transactions in bitcoin the more healthy it is. I spend most of the bitcoins and I have a small saving for halvening:)

Spending bitcoin is always good as its helping you when you are in need of money, I sell my coins on weekly basis irrespective of the price.
yeah there is a lot of sense in a "spending bitcoin" could have you shopped altcoin or other investments. certainly issued bitcoin for something useful and profitable to be highly recommended. so actually spending is not always throw money unnecessarily. it depends on your choice

Currently, I am hoarding, i.e. saving and accumulating/amassing bitcoin.  I would rather use cash on hand for any spending at the moment than to convert any bitcoin or spend bitcoin right now. I think the reason is pretty obvious by now.

I would like to buy when the price goes down then hold for about one year. If I rank up, I will join a signature campaign so I could earn and accumulate bitcoins. I treat bitcoin as an investment rather than something to pay for transactions. I'd rather have a lot to hold before I start spending them.

Where is my ring of blades...
I like doing both!
keeping bitcoin by buying and holding it for a long time has been one of my biggest investments in my life (of course only biggest for me) so I think I can call it hoarding bitcoin because it is an investment after all an the price will be much higher in a couple of years.

but also I like spending bitcoin, it is so much more convenient to spend bitcoin instead of cash especially spending it online is way easier and also cheaper.

I'm also doing both because I spend now and than but also hold a couple coins to gain more profit in the future with the halving this year.

yeah collect as much as possible at this time really well to make a profit at the end of the year. we will pass halving, and even the current prices have started to rise to $480 Smiley

Bitcoin makes for horrible money.  No one likes to spend it and we need to face that fact.  You don't buy a gold coin just to buy groceries,  do you?  Nope, you don't.   And bitcoin is just like that, except that it would actually make a great currency if used as such.

Good point. I was looking at some gold coins earlier and thinking of diversifying.

I'd like to hold my bitcoin these days because of the fact the bitcoin has a good future a head this year.
Due to this holding is in my eyes better.
