Don't let others control your BTC -> self custody
If I bet too much, which is rare, I will look sad. Usually though I prepare myself for the loss even before the game starts. I detach myself from the money when I send it to the casino and treat it like buying a ticket for a match, or something. It's paid and lost and if I manage to win something on that day, It's going to be like a blessing, a reward.
Because of this I don't get depressed when I lose a game, but if I win I look happy, so if I win you'll be able to tell, but if I lose, I'm going to forget about it and move on.

How about you? Do you look obvious when you win or lose in gambling after you log out, and how do you address this?

People react to gambling wins or losses differently depending on their behavioral patterns. I know a friend who will buy drinks for everybody in the compound any time he wins from his bets. But we know that he has lost when he quietly goes into his flat after his gambling rounds. I also suspect that you can recall your gambling exercise for a longer time if you won big or lost big. I will not easily forget the day gambling saved me and my family from hunger during the COVID-19 lockdown. This was because I won big when I needed the money most. I will not also forget when I lost my entire wage because I thought the numbers were sure bets. Normally, I forget my gambling activities a few hours after I leave the physical casino or log out of an online casino. This is because I gamble with what I can afford to lose and I also see gambling as entertainment.

It's a good practice to forget everything after you get out on a gambling platform, whether online or offline, whether you win or lose, and I make it a point to be like that we have our life to live and gambling should not affect our daily activity.

The reason I started this discussion is  I have a friend who takes a whole day or two to leave what has happened to him every time he logs out or gets out of the gambling platform.

You can easily tell the way he talks and moves if he wins or not, his enjoyment whenever he wins, and his sadness and depression every time he loses; he carries it for a time lasting from a whole day to two days.

His reason is that he is immersed in it while playing it. He carries his emotions out of the platform, and it's hard for him to shake off.

How about you? Do you look obvious when you win or lose in gambling after you log out, and how do you address this?

Yes when you're being too mean and emotional with your gambling, the recent activities are usually uneasy to do away it
To such gamblers, when they wins, they're always joyful taking back the hands of time in recalling how they managed to pick the lucky games that earned them winning. While of lost the game, they usually feels regreted on hwy they picked the wrong games instead of picking the right ones. It's usually a time not to be forgotten too soon to them.

I know myself. It happens to me too but I don't do it to the extreme.

I am not a robot, I have emotions and I worked for the little amount I have on my betting budget. When I lose though, I tend to ruminate on what went wrong, what I could have done that I didn't do, and what I could do better the next time.

It is more of a review and evaluation. That's how I address it.

If you keep on thinking about your past activities after gambling, then you are just causing problems for yourself. Your past is supposed to be your past, and you should think about it. Why do I even have to think about what happened when I logged out of my gambling account? I don’t really do that. The only time I talk about my past gambling activity is maybe when I am discussing with my friends about the bet that I placed and how it went. After that, I don’t think about my past activities, either I win or lose, I immediately log out, then I forget about it, and I move on with my life.

How about you? Do you look obvious when you win or lose in gambling after you log out, and how do you address this?

I made it obvious for my parents to see me when I win in my gambling session.  I am always happy to inform them about the winnings and give all the money including my bankroll when I decide to withdraw my funds from the platform.  There is a feeling of fulfillment whenever I see my parents happy so I do not fail to give them all the winning money whenever I got lucky in my gambling session

While I am very enthusiastic of making it obvious to my family that I won in my gambling engagement, I make sure that my family won't notice when I lose my session by pretending that I have not involved myself in gambling activities during those unlucky times.

Since I only gamble money that is free to use, they never noticed when I engaged in gambling activity unless I told them about it and that is the time when I won a good amount of money.

Live with peace and enjoy life!
I think it's just normal to feel happy when we win and a little upset when we lose; that's how we react because we are just humans. However, we should not let it affect our day, especially the losing experience, as it will not help in making our day productive. That's why it's important to have control and not consume your day with gambling activities because that could possibly lead to addiction.

At the end of the day, we gamble because we want to be entertained, so we should accept whatever the outcome is, even if it's not what we expected. As gamblers, we expect to win every time we gamble, but in reality, gamblers don't win most of the time. So, we should also accept that reality as gamblers.

If it’s your hard-earned money, then I am sure you will be thinking about it the whole day. It happens with me all the time. I mean, when I lose a big amount on the platform, it haunts me all day. I regret the decision that I placed that bet for which I lost the money. This doesn’t happen if I make profits, but yes, if I make a loss, then I always think about the game and bet all the time. I think this is just the human emotion, and nothing can be done about it.

Normally it shouldn't take much of a time to shake off from what outcome we get from a gambling bet. Fine if I have to talk about it for an hour or two but letting the complains take much part of my day makes it feel abnormal.

It may not be due to the amount of money they lost or that they are addicted gamblers.

What usually make gamblers give so much reactive emotions to their lost best for instance is due to how much hope they have immersed into that very bet having to play correctly, at a loss they feel shattered and can't help but carry on the disappointed all day long. Anybody they see they want to share the disappointment with not until they're satisfied or made another bet.

All the events we experience in gambling, including the losses we experience. We should think that this is just a passing thing, and don't bother remembering it. Because everything will be useless, and we will never be able to recover the losses experienced in a short time.

However, for some reason, after losing, it made me even more curious about gambling. There is always something in my head about how to recover the losses experienced. Feeling curious, maybe in the next gambling session, victory and luck will be on my side. And do any of you also feel the same way...?

Including when I get a win, this makes me feel confident to continue gambling and always think that luck is on my side. So after getting a win, instead of ending the gambling for a while, I tried to change gambling sites or games, increasing the bet amount in the hope that I would get a bigger win than before.

The truth is we can not forget about the losses we have gotten from our gamble life (before or after). The reason why it's not easy to forget is because one can't forget about the bad did his friend or someone did to them that's why a gambler can not also forget about his losses, even if you manage to forget about it, anytime you heard about the word gamble he will remember because he has remembered that he has lost while gambling. And also it's easy to forget about our winning, mostly why we didn't use the money we win from gamble to physical things that we can see/touches.
It's not easy to forget about our losses because from my observations I can say that out losses are just like a lessons to us.

Do you think this is something that is not normal for someone who is addicted to gambling?
Similar cases do not only happen to your friends, but the average gambler may experience it. Their luck and losses in gambling are discussed with those who are actually gamblers too, of course this is a normal thing so that their feelings are channeled rather than kept bottled up. If your friends talk to you about their gambling experiences yesterday, it means they know that you are a gambler too and they are comfortable sharing those experiences with you.

How about you? Do you look obvious when you win or lose in gambling after you log out, and how do you address this?
Yes, this happened to me too. Generally I don't talk about it to those who have never been exposed to gambling or are not gamblers, but of course to those who are gamblers. Sometimes it's fun when we both win, sometimes it's bad when friends also experience the same fate.

I would not dare to risk a lot of money in gambling even from other sources of income that are only used at most 20% for gambling no more than that, so there is no lingering regret because I know it will have a bad impact if I lose more.

You don’t dare to risk a lot of money on gambling yet you are allocating 20% of your income on it which is already a significant amount of your earnings?

I’m using only 1% to 5% of my income for the month on gambling which is already big for me since I do have business that generates profit for me. Those percentage is already considerably huge if you will just allocate it for an entertainment purposes. I can’t imagine myself gambling with above 10% of my money in the bank/salary.

People that are like that will be addicted to gambling easily because that is what they focus more on in life. He is using gambling as a means of income from what I understand,  and that is why he allows his emotions to take over him for long

I gamble and after login out, I think about it sometimes and not too often. Most times it is when I feel like I should gamble that those thoughts do come into my mind about how my last gambling experience was like. If I use a big amount of money to gamble and I run at loss, I do think of it and regret it. For that reason, I only use an amount that even if it comes to my thought I wouldn't bother thinking twice about the outcome of my bet.
When I was still starting to gamble, it took me really hard to easily forget about my losses or even my winnings as I keep on thinking about it and even share it to my best buddy. I think that's actually normal for beginners.

However, after several years of gambling, I learned already how to handle my losses and just forget about it every time I log out. Good thing I was not really into gambling with huge amount, otherwise I will keep on regretting why I did that decision gambling with an amount I can't afford to lose.

I have felt how losing and that emotion wants to be expressed but I always hide it so that people don't know, especially I always think for now after losing in gambling with the thought of not losing much plus this is not from a monthly salary so this will be safe enough for me.

I didn't get this part, Does he take a break from gambling or from everything?

It is good to take a break when things are not going in your way but regarding gambling you can simply focus on something else instead of doing nothing cause we are supposed to take this as part of the entertainment so whatever the outcome we have to accept it and move on to live a life that we are supposed to.

I would suggest that person to take a long break from gambling that may give other options to explore that may change his perspective about gambling.

This is but natural it's ok to feel sorry and bad and enjoy the feeling once you log in. We are so emotional when we are playing; there were times when I was active in horse racing, and I dreamed of horses because I was very much into an analysis of the events that my mind was preoccupied with.

But if we know what matters the most in our daily lives we will soon learn how to bypass these feelings, once we use our emotions and feelings it's not easy to shake them off it takes time but as we move on we learn to shorten the time to move.

That is indeed true! It is not wrong to be happy when you won or be sad if you lost. The strange reaction is that your emotion after the game will last for days and days, you feel you can't move on with what happened with your game. And that for sure, will affect with how you will carry out your tasks for the day. So to avoid being a mess, better accept whatever is the results of your game. After all, you can't go back on that particular period. And maybe, this is the reason why most players are having the intentions of chasing their losses. As they can't move on, especially if their losses are quite significant. They tend to promise themselves to recover how much they have lost, before they will stop. But then again, you won't be stopping anytime soon if you will chase your losses.

I used to be that way as well, some of the people I talk to regularly would ask questions, but now I always do my best to brush off my emotions because they can sometimes have an impact on how I approach my next session.

I still let out my emotions once in a while, there's nothing wrong with feeling bad or good whenever you win, it's just that i've learned to lower the intensity and not let myself be affected throughout the day.

If it gets out of hand, I mostly use my other hobbies as an outlet until i'm back to my regular self.

I do not log out of my of my gambling site account. I always stayed log in and I like it like that. I do not have too much money on my account and I use 2FA. So if I want to withdraw money, I need the 2FA OTP for the withdrawal.

As for if I win or lose. I am happy when I win. I am not said when I lost money to gambling. I win or lose small amount of money that do not let me think much about gambling while I am not gambling.
