It's a good practice to forget everything after you get out on a gambling platform, whether online or offline, whether you win or lose, and I make it a point to be like that we have our life to live and gambling should not affect our daily activity.

The reason I started this discussion is  I have a friend who takes a whole day or two to leave what has happened to him every time he logs out or gets out of the gambling platform.

You can easily tell the way he talks and moves if he wins or not, his enjoyment whenever he wins, and his sadness and depression every time he loses; he carries it for a time lasting from a whole day to two days.

His reason is that he is immersed in it while playing it. He carries his emotions out of the platform, and it's hard for him to shake off.

How about you? Do you look obvious when you win or lose in gambling after you log out, and how do you address this?

I use Linux as an OS and I always use 2FA to just log in once and I never log out.In Chromium browser which is the equivalent of Chrome in Linux I am always logged in the casino platform so I just hit the x button to close the casino window and I continue life as normal. It is very difficult to tell if I have won or lost as I am great at hiding it,I always smile before my family despite being raging in heat deep inside me so for friends they can never know what is going on with my gambling activity although they don't know I gamble, expect my family no one knows,I keep a low profile on my private life and that is how I have set it up.So most likely I don't care if I lost,I know next time will be better so I continue life as normally, meaning I don't look obvious at all if I have lost or not in a gambling session.

I look obvious since I always enjoy gambling. I’m generous when I win that’s why my friends usually knew that I win whenever I’m treating them since I’m not inviting them to hangout in casual days so it’s really noticeable for me my gambling results.

Same when I lose. I’m usually silent and sulky since I’m thinking on where did I go wrong on my bets. I’m always have this 1 to 2 hour gambling side effect whenever I lose so I always make sure that I’m alone so no one will be affected.

It’s been along time since I lose that I can’t get over since I’m always playin calculated gambling that makes me less losses compared before.

When I am out, I'm already out. That friend of yours has an obvious sign of gambling addiction and he needs to immediately seek help from the professionals so that when he logs out, he'll totally log out for himself and for his family too. That sign is serious and taking his time from anything that he does if it is taking him a day or two. I can't even stand or sit any longer for a day and how much more with what he does that he's been doing for two. You need to tell your friend that there's more to life that he can do outside gambling. When he's done, and he's got out of funds, he has to accept the fact that he totally lost it and he can recover it either with gambling or anything that he's been doing too. Just as many of our friends here are saying, he only need to gamble with a certain amount of money and he needs to lessen his bankroll so that he won't be forced to stay longer. And as for myself, setting a strong set of rules does really help when I want to stop or I've got nothing left.

No. It is because I never bet more than I could afford to lose. Let’s say if losing $1000 would make me upset, then I don’t bet $1000 on any game. Losing $100 probably wouldn’t anger me so that’s my maximum bet limit nowadays. I think I can afford to lose $100. Of course the prize will be a lot less than what I would get had I wagered $1000 but that’s the thing; big prize comes with big risks. I would rather play it safe.

What's wrong for showing emotion? we're humans, that's why we have emotion, unlike robot or AI.

There's nothing wrong if someone feel happy or sell after gambling, it's normal. Actually it's good when someone can show their emotion to other people, it means they want to get close with us and we can strengthen our relationship.

Don't try to become so called sIGMa MaLE by supporting toxic masculinity.

Some people are able to conceal their emotions better than some other people can, this is why some people even after losing in gambling they are able to keep a straight face that people are not able to tell their situation. It is like that for some people as a natural something while for some other people it is as a result of the many experience of losing many times and losing that amount of money that they no longer feel as pained as the first time when they lost that amount of money in gambling. New gamblers are more at the position for their emotions to show on their faces when they loose in gambling.

Your friend may lose more each game session because he has a hard time forgetting the loss for days, because if he plays with less capital then he will not be as depressed.

After of course the mood is happy but never show it to anyone because you know gambling is always considered bad around me, on the contrary, when you lose, you will cover all that so that you will not drag on for a long time in defeat due to defeat.

When losing logout, continue other activities so that you can forget about the defeat, the most important thing is not to lose all the money you have.

Maybe if it was a professional gambler who was very used to it, then it wouldn't be so annoying. However, if that happened to me for example, or other people as usual, rest assured, it would appear quite clearly.

When they come out of the casino door, they will see the look on their face, whether they are annoyed/angry/sad/pale/grimacing/or something else. because, indeed, facial expressions are quite difficult to hide, especially in a situation like that, before suffering defeat. I'm sure, only a few people can bear it so well. Because of this, usually it will definitely have an impact on daily life, on the environment, activities, and performance, whether it is online or offline gambling.

Me, what will happen?
Seriously, if it is a loss that is quite tiring and also costs a lot of money, then when I log out or leave the casino, what I will often do is:
- Wipe your face and head hair repeatedly
- Shaking his head, whether because it was itchy or because he felt distrustful and instead he was irritated and resigned, but he still believed in it.
Shouting and getting angry, there will definitely be. In fact, this even became an outlet for anger because of the defeat.

I think it is a normal thing especially if you you're highly affected by your emotions, which we cannot control in all instances 'coz that makes us humans. Of course it would be ideal to leave everything within the game after your gambling session but not all people could bare with the gambling outcome, as we all know. Some people would get frustrated, sad, or happy after the game depending on the outcome. What matters more is your actions after gambling; would you be coming back in a minute to get back with your loss or just accept things and try the next day? Would you be spending all of your profit out of joy or be disciplined to secure it for more necessary things? You could be affected simply because you have invested money and time on it. Just make sure that it won't be reflected to your actions afterwards.

In my case, it only took me an hour or less to accept my losses but more hours to enjoy my winning; I prefer to forget my losses as fast as possible. I usually watch movies on Netflix to forget my losses, and if the losses are huge, I drink it away and forget everything the next day; that's only if the losses are huge.

When I win, I want it to last at least the whole day because it's a great feeling, sustains your confidence as a gambler, and is a feel-good feeling we're looking for in gambling.

When I win my mood is certainly better, if you're gambling for fun and do not get excited when you win the purpose is defeated. I have seen no reason to suppress the emtions of excitement as it rolls over into my other activities, making me more productive.

I don't react to losses for longer than a few minutes. This may be cause I don't stake so much that will cause a reaction should I loss it. Anyone that holds on to the feeling of losses for too long should reevaluate their gambling habits;
• How much they stake,
• Their expectations from gambling, do not expect to get rich from it.

People that are like that will be addicted to gambling easily because that is what they focus more on in life. He is using gambling as a means of income from what I understand,  and that is why he allows his emotions to take over him for long

I gamble and after login out, I think about it sometimes and not too often. Most times it is when I feel like I should gamble that those thoughts do come into my mind about how my last gambling experience was like. If I use a big amount of money to gamble and I run at loss, I do think of it and regret it. For that reason, I only use an amount that even if it comes to my thought I wouldn't bother thinking twice about the outcome of my bet.
