Yes, I agree that you shouldn't involved emotions in the beginning of your trading journey. But most of us succumb to it. Reason one is that if you're are newbie and second is that you tend to be greedy.

That is the reason it is always recommended to treat both losses and profit as a same thing. Trading is not about the emotions it is about strategy , market situation , volatility ,right buy and sell without getting too much greedy. It an art to trade and even it is highly risky so people who are weak heart must avoid trading as it can be highly risky and require lot of patience .
We cannot trade without using our emotion pal, you must bear that in your mind. We are human trader, and we cannot take action or decide if we are not using any emotion.
