In our time now ? i must admit that i tried keeping my Bitcoin intact mate , practicality reason i guess .

I bought my Bitcoins when the price is still 8k and i sold when the price rise to 55k and then buy back at 42k meaning up to now i am still waiting for the pump.

meaning i will keep my coins and will only use Fiat or some of my altcoins if allowed but not my Bitcoins.
from the statement you made, at least you have received the benefits of bitcoin, where you have pocketed a profit of 8k-55k, I think we rarely find such profits in other investments. even though you bought back and it is currently floating minus, but I see you are calm, and I think you will always be patient to wait for the next bullrun, as you have experienced before

If the store allows Bitcoin to pay, I believe everyone will pay with Bitcoin. However, there are no merchants in our country that can use Bitcoin to pay. If you use Bitcoin for large transactions, it is more cost-effective than using cash. Now the system is getting better and better, and soon we can use Bitcoin as a way of daily payment transactions. .

The Standard Protocol - Solving Inflation
I believe the only limiting factor to spending bitcoins is the fact that there aren't so many merchants accepting bitcoins. I am of the opinion that people will spend their bitcoins if there are merchants accepting  it.
Even if I'm willing to spend my bitcoin, I wouldn't be able if there's no one accepting it. I also believe just like OP mentioned that bitcoin would attain mass adoption if bitcoin can be spent just like the fiat currencies we have now.

I hope that in my country I can make payments with bitcoin directly, because right now I use bitcoin to be converted to fiat first before I can make payments on services I want to do such as internet, electricity and online shopping
Wouldn't it be wasteful to spend your bitcoin in satoshis if you are just paying for your bills and groceries, bitcoin's volatility might cause you to spend more when the prices go down or the other way when the prices go down. But if you are smart about it and try to spend your bitcoin when the prices are going down, you might get a discounted payment on bills and groceries.

I prefer bitcoin due its anonymity when sending payment and being decentralized but the fees are high I think it could be more than you pay the third party service to ensure smooth transaction. Hoping that bitcoin transaction fee will going to be cheaper than the current.

If I would be given a chance to use my Bitcoins as a mode of payment, then I would try to use it since it will be a good thing that my country will be allowing such thing to happen, since currently we are still being able to do so because many are still not aware of Bitcoin's usage and importance so the demand for using it is still not enough to raise a merchant that will adapt into accepting it. I would just try to make use of my Bitcoin as a mode of payment for some couple of time and not always since it will be best for me to use it as an asset due to its value rather than barely using it for payment.

I will definitely use it if the services I use accept payment with it. I think this will happen soon in the future, in the country where I live I have also started to see news about government adoption and research into crypto (blockchain).

Definitely but I will only do it for something that will help me make more money so for example, I plan to accumulate some bitcoin and spend about half of it to buy a team in Axie Infinity to breed it and sell the offsprings. But if we are talking about small purchases, I think that the potential value of bitcoin far outweighs the need to spend it in sats on things that you can just buy with fiat.
Me too. kinda think anything I have to spend my Bitcoin on has to be something that I would feel like I have not lost my Bitcoin or satoshis, For now, If for any reason I convert some to fiat and spend them will be more relaxing for me than spending Bitcoin directly so will want to feel some extra income or earnings coming from where/what I spent my Bitcoin on.
Good for you that you will be doing the same. Not every hodler will be able to do this because they want to park their money on bitcoin rather than move it to other avenues to make money since they don't want to risk it which is good although it should be coupled with other ways of making money.

When I carry out online transactions I always do so because I cannot find the item in my city or because the price difference is notable.
I always do it on reputable websites and sellers with reputation.
If in my city I accepted bitcoin or any crypto as a means of payment to pay without fees or low fees to buy any item, I would certainly use bitcoin.

As we have always stated, the usability problem of bitcoin is scalability and fees. But fortunately we have the lightning network, we are going to wait how it works for the country of El Salvador with the use of bitcoin, which in my opinion will be positive for mass adoption.

Sure, why not! Although I am in favor of Hodling, we should accept services using Bitcoin where Bitcoin can be used. This will increase the spread of Bitcoin and by doing this the civil public will be able to know about Bitcoin. For mass adoption of Bitcoin, service should be taken by paying in Bitcoin. For my personal purpose always I try to use the Bitcoin payment getaway option when I get it upfront.

Don't spend Bitcoin - HODL Bitcoin.

Also - why - it's not user friendly when compared to a card (contactless for small purchases) - I buy a ticket with card I get cash back / points, and I can chargeback if good are not good, or flight cancelled etc...
But there are instances in life on where you don't have any choice but to spend those coins but those are situational because not all would really be experiencing hardship when it comes to financial.

Its not just worth if you do spent out your coins into something which you can buy with fiat and if you do target for future profits then accumulating would be the best idea.

This is a matter of interest and a bit mix of exploration or seeking for some real experience on using bitcoin directly and I do such thing wayback before until I do realize
that wasting off is not really worth.

I can't say that I don't miss every chance that I can pay with Bitcoin. Sometimes I pay like that, sometimes I don't. It really depends on what I'm going to pay for. Because as we all know, there are still some scalability problems which make this payment option annoying. Unless they don't solve them, it will go on like this for me.

For the past few months and years I am using bitcoin to pay for something that I am buying from some convenience store but today no because I intend to use my bitcoin for some investments and just holding it as my assets and not using it to buy some stuff in the stores because I've realized that the demand and the pump up of the bitcoin is currently uptrend and it is really a good thing for us to just hold it and not use it to pay on some convenience stores.

I never planned to pay with Bitcoin, I will just make it my investment and keep hold it...

as long as in my country BTC is not allowed as a legal tender, then I don't dare to do it. I will only pay with fiat money that is legal in my country and still hold the BTC I have for long-term investments.

Of course not. Two main reasons is big fees and low price that wil definitely will go higher than it ever was by now.

Technically I have spent Bitcoin on some products and services, it somehow holds me back from doing it but I sometimes have no choice but to use my BTC so if whenever I'm able to pay with BTC, I'm not very open to it if I have the option to.

I'm sure spending the BTC on some products won't affect the price of BTC but it helps the adoption when merchants online see more users uses BTC to pay.
