The odds are tough to overcome on your own. That is why I only play as part of a group. As a group, we buy lots of tickets and thereby reduce the odds significantly.

I think that lotteries with really high jackpots and minimal chances of winning are not for me.
I counted probability of winning once and it turned out that to win jackpot my chances are like 1:14.000.00 or something like this.

It is all about that - mostly luck. You put little amount and you can get very big prize. More people play = higher reward = lower possibility. It is not because of scam, that' are the rules.

I believe you're missing something interesting. People who did not play lotteries yet, but they will not be interested in playing lotteries anymore. But playing lotteries with a very small amount of betting is most recommended for those who are loving gambling.

Yeah it is risky because it has a high prize as on other gambling "high risk high return"
and it depends on where you play the lotteries, some sites use provably fair mechanism in drawing the winner.

It is not you that are super unlukcy. It is the design of lottery. National lottery payout ratio is very low. That makes us think we are unlucky.

We are lucky as we know the existence of bitcoin earlier than other 7 billion people.

That is expensive, so the best alternative is to buy as part of a group.

Splitting the jackpot may not leave you with much, so it is best to only play when the jackpot is large.

I have won some euros in scratch lottery as well. Not much though and I usually don't even stay with the profit, because when I win I just buy more with the money I just won, and then I end up losing it xD
My best was getting 5 more lotteries for free.

I remember buying fries and they came with a card of a scratch lottery, and sometimes I would won money, or more fries lol. I think only on that one I had "profit" since I could eat free fries xD
