That should be a good if you just buys lotteries for fun and not very serious about making money out of it. Because lottery winnings are based on pure luck so just buy small amount when you have some extra money and if you win big money then you should consider very lucky but don't ever try to buy lot of lotteries to increase your winning chances.

US lottery is different though. Its not nationwide. More like every state have different lottery. I dont know where the earnings went also. But in Phillipines it goes to 1 charity its the Phillipines Charity Sweepstakes.

National lottery here has purpose mainly like when someone needed medical assistance, hospital discounts, projects etc. My friend got discount from hospital bill here thru the government institution that holding our National Lottery. I don't bet on scratch cards since it's not reliable. Lottery is the one that legit since it's live on National TV and DTI representative is present. The only bad doings here (I think, not sure) is when the jackpot prize reached a super high amount (everyday it's increasing based on ticket sales), there will be a winner which I think none. Winners of jackpot prizes are not revealed. But recently they revealed it because of ticket issue. I see some people personally nearby me who won lotto jackpot and now living a wealthy life.

The payout ratio of lottery is much lower than that of most gambling. Maybe the expectation between the time you bought the lottery ticket and the announcement of the lottery results is more rewarding.

he's from the philippines (im also from there and i know harizen on our local forum here on bitcointalk) , i also find our national lottery here fun cuz of the said benefits. i can say its worth it playing lotteries here, not only for me but also to other benificiaries.

Yes lotteries are known for luck testing. If you buy more amount of lotteries you will get more chances to win. From my favorite faucet I do get some lottery tickets every time, But my luck has not fetched any luck so far. I still wait.

Lotteries jackpot is huge but the chance of winning is very very little. You can be buying lotteries for every draw in your whole life but it is very likely your winnings cannot offset with what you have lost.
