If I were single, I would quit.
If I were married, I high unlikely to quit.

I think at some point you need to dare to quit your job and try to work on your own i.e. self employed, hence I suggest people to get married when they're already self employed, however if they choose to marry when they're still working under someone, they need to expect to become employees until they death.

Become a trader was one of my childhood dream, but after I know in trading you will not always make profit, I choose to not become a full time trader.

Why quit your job when you’re still able to make them both profitable. Instead, continue to work on your office hours and trade on your free time. That is way more profits secured.

We all know trading outcomes can never be certain all the time. Yes, you can be a skillful trader and achieved significant amount of profits, but the question is how long? Unlike if you work and trade, whenever you lose in trading, at least you still have a permanent job that will provide you income regularly.

Well it's nothing much about the subject matter, which I would have to also hear from your parts to know.
Do you quit your office work when you starts making profits from your trading.

I want to know, the reason why I am putting this up here is because as we already aware that trading doesn't guaranteed a regular profits, or we can't be sure of how much would make either every week or months. Does it mean we should stop our office because a trade gives us x amounts today and we think we would still have that chance tomorrow?

Your inputs is needed.

Lol! That's the worst decision any human can make! Your job is a source of your regular income. Never leave your job unless you have enough savings to take care of your emergencies and the remaining years of your life. Trading is risky and it doesn't guarantee regular flow of money every single day. So it's better not to depend on that. The benefit of crypto market is that, it is open for 24 hours a day. So you will have time when you logout from your office desk. Utilise that time to trade and make additional profit. But never leave a job and depend on trading unless you have a huge savings. It will help you to retire early in life.

It depends on how the trader responds, if they feel that they are trading just for a side job, then they can do that and still work. But if they are already getting consistent profits and are sure that their decision to become full time traders is final, then they can quit their jobs and pursue a career in trading. So it all comes back to the trader, they must listen to their heart and how the history of their trading activities, if they feel confident enough that they can profit from the market, then they can become a full time trader. But if not, then they should just keep working.

Definitely not. There's a reason why there are full-time jobs and part-time jobs, and I don't think trading counts as a full-time one. It can probably count as one, but only at a certain amount of money, I'd say. Depends on how (and where) you live, but it's money that can generate enough daily profit to let you live as a middle-income earner I'd suppose. Anything below that, I just consider it as a bonus from time to time that I use to invest again.

Pretty sure you already know that though since you've already realized trading doesn't provide a stable source of income. It's either what I said really, or you trading and profiting so much money in one (or a couple) of trades. Money more than enough to live your entire life without worries but that's on rare instances really.

I'm not a trader, but this is what I observed as well during the bull run in 2017, at least I remember back then reading threads in the altcoin boards about some people who says that they quit their job and focus on trading itself. However, when we go into a bull run in 2018, I don't know if this people have keep the same energy in trading and we don't know if they are making the money that they can cover their bills or even put food in the table for their family.

So my advise would be not to quit until such time that you have save enough, or have at least some money that you need to have in order to survived in the next 6 months. Again, it's the question on what will be for you when the bear market comes? Maybe that time, it's going to be very hard to trade and make money as usually that is the time wherein the market is going to bleed and it might be bad for you.

I created a similar topic somewhere else where I asked "what will be the first thing a trader will do if they start making profit from trading. " Is it to quit their job first, retire their parents, get married first, or have another investment first. To answer your question, first we know that trading is not a low risk kind of investment, which means they could be severe losses and profit can also be made. As for me, the only time I will quite my day job is if I am certainly and evidently making $500 to $1k from the market everyday.  Also, if my success rate has surpass my losses,  I can consider taking such step.

I can make profit in trading for 2 weeks and later lose again. That is trading. The only reason I will quit my job and focus on trading is when I have traded for a year and more and I have no loss but huge profit. If I trade again for another months and I make huge profits, I can quit work for trading. But it remains one other reason that I will quit job for trading which is having business established already with the help of trading profit. If I do not have a guarantee business, I will not quit my job.
Good! This is one thing i keep telling people that before you quit your job and office work to other business they should have a reliable income or work that is generating money for them before leaving it for something that is so unsure about the outcome. Of course as a trader we should look for another business that would keep generating income for us before finally quitting the current job that is generating income for us, no matter how much they seems to have be making in trading, they should have other source because once someone starts trading and began to make profits in trading they would want to double their capital forgotten that same way their risk would increased as well. Therefore, they can lose everything they have accumulated from trading over the years in just one day or thereabout, that is why it's good to have multiple stream income.

From what I experienced and my friends experiences about the reasons they decided to quit their main jobs and focus on trading because they found an alternative freedom in earning income. They realize that trading is not always certain to gen erate profits every week or every month, maybe you have experienced where you find 2 choices and one of them gives you freedom, peace of mind in terms of time. In the office everything is arranged starting from when to come in, when to go home, even dressing has been arranged in such a way. As if the freedom we have is trapped, while in trading whenever, wherever you can do it as you wish.

A quick overview:

Option 1: Quit your job and focus on trading. In few weeks or months, you encounter a significant loss and have no back up. Go back to the street and start all over again from square one looking for money to re-establish yourself.

Option 2: Maintain your job alongside trading. After some weeks or months, you experience a heavy loss but lucky you have your job as your back up to help you cover up and also generate funds to start over your trading again. No one knows about your loss because your job cover you secretly.

It's as simple as these two options and the decision to choose is absolutely yours. It's not ideal to forsake your primary source of income for secondary sources no matter how profitable you think it is. Most secondary sources are not reliable and can crash at any time. As far as your job is not too bad and not stopping you from trading, you shouldn't consider quiting.

I will not quit my office work when I starts making profits from trading because I consider that my profit from trading can be my other source of income. That will gives me more money so I can use it for my investment or saving that money. Earning from trading will not be easy because we must have a good skills in analyzing the market. So we don't have to quit from our office work because we can use that income to fills our daily needs.

Besides that, we can not always make a profit from trading as the market will still moves to any direction. Although some people can make a profit from trading daily, that will not easy for us so we must think twice if we want to quit our office work.

Totally depends on SUSTAINABILITY!

If it do comes into a time that i do able to make some sustainable trading profits then i might say that its really that considered out to be the moment or time that i will be quitting up my job and will really be doing full time specially if the amount that you are making is really that much bigger on what you are making or getting from your day job. It will really be just that depending on you because there will really be those individuals who will really that still continue on what they do currently have now despite of being profitable with trading. We do know that enhancing trading skills and becomes professional or sustainable isnt something that will really be so hard and it takes time.

This will be basing up on how you will be able to sustain or last up on the time or moment that you do make trades. Having a work+trading session is never been easy because you will be needing up that kind of time management because on the moment that you do have a work then its really that hard for you to manage up both things and and this is why it will be taking a while for you to enhance your trading skills and be able to achieve such kind of situation on which not all will really be having that kind of achievement in life in terms of going full time with trading and being profitable.

If you are already making some profits from your trading, the only condition that should make you quit and take that big leap of faith is if you are working in a toxic environment where your boss, supervivors, and colleages are terrible people. If your mental health has been hanging on for dear life because of your job then quit.

You can figure the fear of the unknown part out later.

If the toxic situition is not your reality then do not quit. Stay back working and build more capital, get more experience and have if I were you, I would have a fiancial target that when I achieve, I will take profit and quit my job without a second thought.

Quitting your steady source of income to embrace something that you can't predict is somewhat of a gamble with high risk for your financial future.

How can one quit your office work to trade cryptocurrency, even though trading can give you profits that can surpass your entire monthly salary in a day profits, at the same time in trading, you can lose all that you make or open a position that will place you a waiting stage for a very long time, this is the many challenges that come from cryptocurrency trading which make it not favorable as a full-time job.

No, and I don't have plans. Maybe because I have seen that there's no guarantees in trading because even if you very sure already of the outcome of your trades but once the market instantly change its condition, obviously your supposed to be profits have vanish as well. You don't hold the final outcome of your trades most of the time, so you have to be cautious when trading, and won't easily quit your job for the sake of earning bigger profits in trading.

You can't quit from your office work while you are trading unless if you are a full-time trader and you want to monitor the price.
Trading is not a stable job; there are times that you would lose and there are times that you can gain so much profit.
If you end up becoming a full-time trader, then you should be consistent, and it needs a huge capital to be able to gain a good profit on every single spike. Even a small percentage should give you a huge gain because of the large capital. Maybe if you can make a profit on every single spike and you do so consistently, there's no problem to quit your job. Do not forget about risk management; it can help you reduce or cut your losses.

Quitting our own job for the sake of trading is a very risky decision. You could have both lose in the end and make you a hopeless person. My suggestion is, quit only when you are already making massive amount in trading, wherein you have saved already a lot enough that you can live for 3-5 years even without working on your job.

I have never been able to make a profit from trading continuously, but when I took a profit once or twice from the trading platform, a different feeling worked in my mind. At that time, I felt that I had become a very experienced person in the trading platform, I would be able to make money continue from it, but when I took a trade again and faced a loss, I felt very depressed again. But to be honest, when I took a profit from trading, a kind of good feeling worked in me, which resulted in a reluctance to do other things. Although I do not work in any government job or company, I still felt reluctant to do my own work when I made a profit from trading. However, this may not be the case for others.

Trading is much sweeter and easier when you have some side income to cover your other expenses. In this case, you don't get into pressure to make some quick profit in order to cover urgent bills, which could easily lead to bad decision-making due to emotions.

So if you are trading, do not quit that job until you have some good amount that can push you throughout your life. I have seen some folks make life changing figures in a few trades. I guess those are the kinds of people who can quit their jobs and start new lives all together.

Short answer: you don't.

Hear me out.

There is no guarantee of profits in trading and it is more of an emotional game, you'd still need your job even though you're profitable for the first few months. The job would keep the mind in a sane state because if you don't have the job anymore there is usually an undue pressure to make profit which can even prompt one to take trades they don't normally take.

The plan is keep job => become profitable for a free months => can safely quit now that you've gotten a hang of your craft.

Any attempt to quit early will just result in more pains.
