No need to regret it because it was your best buy, I was also in the $30k buy and kept going down but I'm still holding on even though it's gone down, but I'm glad I'm already at $19k so I bought again so what I collect the bitcoins I bought I'm pretty sure about the upward trend, but it's a little bit patient to have to wait for it.
We certainly expect something big but it looks realistic later with expectations like 2021.
When it comes to buying bitcoin when it still has so much room for adoption cannot ever be a mistake, even those which bought at 69k could eventually get profits if they hold their coins until 2024, and if they were willing to buy bitcoin now they could get profits even earlier than that as the price of their coins will drop if they did that, so anyone that is sad about buying bitcoin at 30k only to drop to 20k should not feel that way about it.
No matter how high the bitcoins are bought, there is still hope. This is a little bit patient because you have to wait longer. I predict that in 2024/25 the price of bitcoin will be much more than ATH $69k but we have to be confident it's not a big mistake but a delayed profit.
The only thing is to be confident buying at any price we can do well to wait for the right time even though there is a bit of frustration but I don't think it will be long because bitcoin can increase again.
Buying at $20k or $30k I think it's still relatively good and holding up until the time to sell it.

I was but I also realize that it was not the best thing to do. We'd rather accept the reality that in this volatile market, we dare to be prepared for everything that may happen today, tomorrow, and in the coming days as no matter what we do, things remain unpredicted that is why we usually go wrong.

But I encourage everyone to not make ourselves down for just missing it as the drops can never be forever as long as we are holding Bitcoin and any value coins we still have the chance to sell them high and earn profit.

Bitcoin buying and selling is something that we have to do very well, by knowing the elementary conduct of it before buying and selling of bitcoin. Theirs what i understand by investing more in the dip time, investment of cryptocurrency bring benefit and profit when you know the exact time and exact size it starts falling. Why people buy when Bitcoin is in the state of falling is because of they want to make profit during the time of bullish market

What is the ultimate dip for bitcoin in this bear season ? No one knows about it. Since when we do not know the exact bottom our only option is to buy on every dip and do dollar cost average. Few weeks before bitcoin fall to 17,500$. Many people did not but because they thought 13000$ was incoming but it did not happen. So in short we should not regret buying bitcoin if the plan is to hold for long term.

I know it can get frustrating for many people  buying BTC on the dip and then it dips more. This is happened to me many times with crypto but I don’t let it bother me. I look at bitcoin as a long-term investment so the swings are not particularly relevant to me.

I believe in the technology and I’m fairly confident that global adoption of the Blockchain is inevitable. At bottom, I predict the price will reach an all-time high eventually so it’s easier for me to remain patient.

We've all been there. Trying to time our buys and sells, after feeling the pangs of regret on missing out. I know it's an old nail and and even older hammer but DCA (or simply put, regular buying without relying on price) works a treat and continues to be the best way to ensure you're always getting Bitcoin, and always taking advantage of dips -- the fact that BTC spends majority of time in the lows also is a huge advantage to DCA strategy.

The other upside not talked enough about is that it frees you up to focus on what really matters (aka everything other than price). This Joy of Missing Out is hugely underrated.

The value of bitcoin dropped unexpectedly this year from $30,215 to $20,385 within a few days from June 9th to June 17th according to coinmarketcap,
A quick question for anyone here who purchased bitcoins say on June 9th just before the unexpected dip began? Do you regret your decisions and are you confident that bitcoins will bounce back?
After buying bitcoins when the price goes deeper there is naturally regret. One thing is common to all, no one never know when the market will go dip or the position of the last dip. So it is better to take any decision by analyzing the current price of bitcoin and the past history otherwise it will become difficult to buy it. After all hold it at whatever the price you buy, as we believe that it will eventually move to your expected position.

The drop didn't start on June this year but it's real start date was last year around the month of December. If you have been following crypto for years, you will treat this as a normal event because a pump is usually followed by a dip.

The moment you saw the price starts dipping you will not buy yet because you know that there are more to come. In the event the price drops almost half of what he gained then that can be a starting point for us to buy but we shouldn't all in our funds yet because there might be more dips to come. This way there will be no regrets for us. The only thing that we can regret is if we bought at a higher price and then the value drops after that.

I do regret a little but came back to my composure and bought again even when the price starts to climb and that brings me motivation to accumulate more nowadays.
I know that there is something big to come and I know that the trend will change eventually so i completely understand what is the market nowadays.

Anyone who bought at higher will really regret what they did but if you know its historical price cycles, bitcoin always manage to go back up again after some years from a huge correction. What we can do is either sold it and buy at a lower price or hold it until the next bull run. You will also regret in the future if you will ignore buying now because this could be the last chance to see bitcoin at its current price.

I wouldn't regret if i bought before the dip. I was able to buy, i bought. That's it. Even if the price drops further, I wouldn't regret, because I would still be holding the same number of coins. In fact no one should regret.  As long as they haven't sold anything, they aren't losing anything. Only those who sell should be the one regretting.

So those who bought before the dip, instead of regretting, invest more to maximize your profit!

^ I am holding from my earnings here and buying also at the price of $18K range.
I did not regret it because I saw now my little earnings and I know the more time I hold it the more profit will come and I think I am in the right decision.
BTC will bounce back at the end of the day and this was proven how many times, probably not today but for sure in the future like after the next halving there will be massive growth of BTC. You have been given a chance to invest at the lowest price but you waste it because you did not believe in BTC. I know a lot of people will talk soon more about BTC when it will reach in the next ATH.

Do people regret buying BTC in 2018 when the price went like a ski jump several times in a row, seems like the buy matters less then the sell.     I would always advise against over allocation to BTC, some people have spent their money for bills while expecting some quick return like its a lottery ticket.
The reason price retracts so much is the buyers have been unrealistic to some extent, BTC remains very much the same as it was last year or the years before that but if your actual desire was for Dollars then yea you done screwed up some.   Dollar has risen, thats external factors dont look at BTC for the blame really; being realistic is more often profitable imo
Just be moderate in your aspirations, very surprising thing to BTC is it takes time for a good trend easily a year or more so patience required dont use hot money or borrowed money just little bits - its in the name even Smiley

None if us gets to know if that is already the dip or not, so whether we regret it or not, I think we can’t do anything about it. What makes us profitable is that if we could start making a purchase when the price is very cheap, then that creates more advantage on us. After all, we don’t hold anything in crypto as it’s always mysterious as it is, but if we could make the best entry and buy the right coins at its cheapest prices possible, then that will bring huge profits for us in the future.

It must be very uncomfortable to have a 50% deposit reduction now. So I am more than sure that almost all those who bought bitcoin before the collapse are regretting their purchases. It's elementary mentally pressure, because you could buy a lot more coins now. And now you have to wait for who knows how long to make a profit.
It really feels regretting at first but I've to feel better now as I already accept that this really comes. We can't direct the market where it goes and probably commences not to dump after we buy. But the situation comes mostly in opposite direction and usually, we got mess especially if we don't undergo into market research. This is a very common and the usual thing that happened with newbies, and that is why they mostly complain about their losses which in fact it was their fault.

It is very important for us to give focus on the market chart before buying and tried to listen to other's opinions in order to avoid missing out.
It seems to me that following the opinion of others for your own profit can be a fatal mistake in investing. For example, many just listened to others talking about the bottom at 30k and ended up splitting the deposit twice. You have to rely on your own experience and not someone else's. Or think about the fact that it may be better not to risk money.

As investors, of course we already understand the very volatile bitcoin, if we continue to regret then we will waste time, it's better to focus on buy and hold because I'm sure sooner or later the price of bitcoin will rise again, do not be pessimistic about the current market conditions, but Investors who successfully see this are a golden opportunity to start investing at affordable prices.

As of now, I am still holding bitcoin in my portfolio and I have not sold any coins in my portfolio since last year, although now my portfolio has lost quite a bit compared to 2021. As for my belief and dare to say, I believe that bitcoin will rise again in the future and can't see any reason to give up this market again. There's only one problem: we don't know when the bitcoins will return but I can wait, this investment doesn't affect my daily life.
That's good for you because I don't think many people can be like you. After all, they will sell their bitcoins immediately, especially if they can't control themselves when they see the price drop.
The best strategy is to hold bitcoins since last year and only sell them at the peak price. Still, it must be accompanied by good self-control too because otherwise, we will surely panic to see price fluctuations that continue to fluctuate.
I also believe bitcoin will rise again in the future and currently, I am also still trying to collect more bitcoins before the price increases.
Hopefully, next year, the bitcoin price trend can change so we can sell bitcoin at the next price peak.

If you look at the current price of course I regret because the last time I bought was around $34k, but the good thing is today the price is up more than 7% and I'm optimistic that the market will recover soon.
