A quick question for anyone here who purchased bitcoins say on June 9th just before the unexpected dip began? Do you regret your decisions and are you confident that bitcoins will bounce back?
Missing the chance to buy the dip is the biggest regret than just what you have said. The market drops inevitably, you can't see it before you buy but it guess what, even if I buy Bitcoin at $21,000 then it went down by tomorrow to $19,000 there is nothing I have to worry about. The market will just then move up again, it will reach back $21,000 or more. That is why we should not let our emotions affect our decision and much more we become affected to the market changes as this certainly happens from time to time without telling us.

Even if the dip is going to be deeper this year,i think most people who buying bitcoin will not regret it because it's an investment for a long term.
What you are showing is just a short term price change,so it will not matter and of course many people believe it would bounce back, even though it will take a long time.

Not seeing any regret for those who bought at $20k or even at $30k.

Still a win win isn't it? the last all time high is $69k if I'm not mistaken, so that is a huge discount price already. Regrets is not buying this bear market, and then you FOMO buys at a all time high.

It only took a week for the price to decrease that much and if you are buying bitcoins to gain some decent amount of income in just a short time, then you are in trouble because things like this can happen too often, especially after the bitcoins bull run where most of the people are taking advantage to sell their bitcoins in order to safety their gain. For the one who bought when the price was above $30k, they need to be patient and practice perseverance on not to sell their coins this early rather they switch to the motivation where they gonna hold their bitcoins for the long term instead.

I only bought a small amount of Bitcoins in May above 30,000 USD and even though the value is much lower now I don't feel bad about it. For me bitcoins are a long term investment and I try to be less worried about short term price fluctuations. My problem is that I don't have much spare money this year to invest. So there is not really any opportunity to buy the dip anyway. Every month I try to buy atleast a small amount bitcoin, at the end of June I bought close to 19,000 USD. Nobody knows when the bear market will be over, but if we think long term it shouldn't affect us that much. Once bitcoin reaches a new ATH it's not so important at what level did we buy.

OP. Your question is very stupid. Any person is cunning enough to say that he does not regret it, simply because he wants to be consistent. Yes, of course, bitcoin has volatility, and we can't guess the best price. But anyone who understands the value of bitcoin also understands that at some point it can be a good plus. And, of course, the cheaper he buys, the more pluses he will receive.

Happened to me multiple of times already. There are times that you just cannot predict the movement of bitcoin. So here is what I learned from those experiences.

1. If you hold long enough, even if you bought it on top, there will be an opportunity that you can recover your funds. In my experience, Bitcoin has a cycle and each time, it records a new all time high. You just have to wait for that moment.

2. You can always do cost averaging. It means, you buy more bitcoin when it dips so the average cost of your bitcoin is lower than the highest price you bought. It also means more risk since you are putting in more money but it is worth it if you can hodl.

I have never regretted my decision to buy bitcoin at any price because I believe the price of bitcoin will increase very high. And if the bitcoin price drops again after I buy, I will buy it again because it is a discount. So why regret it if we can later get big profits after the price starts rallying again.

So before the price increases again and you are too late to buy it, that's when you will regret buying late or not doing anything.

Well, if I intend to trade it short term, I might regret it a bit but if I will hold it for the long term, I would never think of regretting it as bitcoin is still cheap since it's lower than its ATH. Based on its history, it will always bounce back and will create a new ATH, so what we have to do now is stay patient and take advantage of the cheap price as it does not happen all the time, who knows, it might be the lowest dip this year.

Buying the dip is the best opportunity in this crypto market and it should not be regretful for its part of life cycle that every price will surely come back up soon. Patience is needed while market is in current situation right now. For sure to those people who bought at $30k, they know what they are into and HODL is the key of success for they know bitcoin will rise up no matter up.

Actually, this is not a new thing when it comes to Bitcoin, because we all know the price of Bitcoin has always been on the fluctuating nature ever since it came into existence,  this recent fall in it's price from $30,000 to $20,000 was just 35% decrease in it's price, which is not even up to what have happened in the past, because we can remember back then in March 2021, something of this nature occurred whereby the price of Bitcoin fell from $60,000 to $30,000 in a matter of fews, which was over 50%, but irrespective of all odds it's price bounced back to stability in few months. But although, am very sure those who bought before the dip in price will actually feel bad and wished they had waited a few days, but for the fact that it has been done, they just have to accept it that way, because thats the spirit of Bitcoin. its not an investment for the weak of mind, but an investment of bravery, time and patience

I bought Bitcoins when the price was at 40k usd and guess what I am still confident that Bitcoins will give me profit.
Before investing in Bitcoins, I have known it’s capabilities. I don’t doubt on Bitcoins.
And yes to your questions, I don’t regret buying Bitcoins. Instead whenever possible and whenever i have some money, I buy the Bitcoins irrespective of what price it’s on.
I have seen previous what Bitcoins have done and that’s why I bought the Bitcoins for long term.
These bear market will eventually go, so no need to panic and take unnecessary tension according to me.

I dont regret it. Instead I might regret not buying when the price is below $30k then after few years the price skyrocket again at 6 digits. I dont want to repeat the same mistakes that I did few years back wherein I didnt buy while the price is quite cheap then bullrun happened year 2017. I feel so much regrets.

So now im making sure to accumulate and hold for long term. Regardless of the outcome I will gladly accept it because its my choice to invest and trust Bitcoin.

I did not regret buying before the dip, after or during dip. I've seen how Bitcoin prices went up and down. I am sure that from every purchase I would gain profit and all I have to do is wait or do other stuff to make time to fly faster. If a person is able to feel market mood, then every purchase before dip he can turn into profit through reselling.

No regrets at all since I'm not looking at the short term price target rather the future price of Bitcoin when it's going to be worth more and more and become scarcier and higher in price, therefore I'm even looking forward to getting more cheaper Bitcoin even as I have gotten some Bitcoin around $20k. I love market crash or dips because I've got to understand that it's an opportunity for me to get cheaper Bitcoin so far I have other streams of income.

Nope, I don't regret it one bit as even if you bought BItcoin at ~30k (which I did by the way) its still more than 50% lower from the all time high so I would say its a still good buy. Bitcoin at ~20k is of course even a better buy, but there if I learned anything when it comes to buying Bitcoin, its that there is no point trying to buy at the bottom. Instead, its much better to use DCA (and that's exactly what I am doing) so you avoid regretting going all in and then you see price going down much further.

Just to add, I wouldn't regret even if I bought Bitcoin at ~67k as all that means is that I would have to wait a little bit longer to be in profit.

You are right I regret it a lot when I bought bitcoin at $420 and it dropped down after I bought back in 2015. I lost a lot of money when my $420 worth bitcoins went updown to $21000 per coin in 2022. My huge loss was +4900%. I cry every night for losing so much money LOL.

In a couple of years from now when price is $400,000 I will regret again for buying bitcoin at $30,000+ and cry again for "losing" +1200% Cheesy

Price recovery happens for sure. The problem for now is the timeline. We don't know when the price will increase to recover the loss happened out of unexpected market crash. Same as this it has hapein the past and recovery have taken place. As we're in a complete bear market, this time it'll take time. Most of the time once an user experience such a situation and recovers making a profit in the long term or short term, he starts to have more trust over the market.

I made a thread and many posts in WO about how Bitcoin is going to retest the 200 Weekly Moving Average when the price was around $44k.
I bought 50% at $21.5k and now I am DCAing on my way towards the end of the year to get a good average all over.

I think that's the best plan. If you didn't see this dip incoming, you need to understand Bitcoin technically a bit more.
