I'm having fun in trading because it is like my passion to just do trading everyday and earn a couple of hundred dollars and repeat the cycle everyday but i don't feel bored because like i said, it is my passion and i find it as a fun activity and thing to do everyday because i don't ever treat it as a game because work is different from game.

Of course not. Trading is a very serious matter that if not taken seriously could make anyone end up losing their bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies that they already had. Also, there is a proper and effective strategy that need to be implemented. Otherwise, trading for that person will not be a great source of income.

“One thing very good traders have is insight into themselves.” - Chris Tate

FUN AND GAMES
Recently Louise Bedford and I have been doing the Short Term Trading Magic seminars in a few places and it has been sometime since I did any form of presentation on a semi regular basis. As such it has been interesting to observe people as they work through various trading issues.

One of the things I have noted is that people take trading far too seriously and this is reflected in a form of desperation. Desperation is the antithesis of the state of mind you need to be in to trade effectively.

There is no deny that this is a phase everyone enters at some stage in their career but to be successful you need to move beyond this and begin to treat trading as the game that it is. Once I started treating trading as a game then it became so much easier on the soul and my results reflected this. I even have a t-shirt that says that the fewer fucks I give the more I make.

This is not to say that I am reckless but rather that I am in no way wedded to the outcome of any trade. At its core my life will not change if a trade or even a cluster of trades are winners or losers – they are simply not that important. When compared to real life, trading is nowhere near as important as people think it is.

It is often commented that children are better are learning new things than adults who seem set in their ways. I am not so certain that this is a reflection of any great cognitive superiority or plasticity that the young may have but rather a reflection of their willingness to be both wrong and to play. Young children have no ego therefore the mistakes that their play generate have no impact upon their sense of self-worth. As adults we lose this resilience because we believe that it is somehow catastrophic to our self-image if we do make mistakes.

But in trading your mistakes are your own – no one else can see them so you are insulated from the judgment of others. This isolation gives you the freedom to be wrong but the only thing you have to cope with is your own judgment.

Markets are a wonderful universes for exploration and for play. The presence of micro contracts in various instruments and online trading mean that you experiment very cheaply.

The price of admission to the fun park is much lower than it used to be and the number of rides has gone through the roof. It is a shame that more traders don’t view trading as little more than a theme park where you can play to your heart’s content and during the process of playing you learn much more than you would if you were consumed by seriousness and desperation.

“To my way of thinking trading is an internal endeavour – there is no external enemy who you can deceive or overpower since markets only exist in the most ephemeral way inside your head. Markets may appear to be physical constructs but they are largely an illusion, trading occurs inside your head where your own perceptions and distortions of reality influence your decision making.” – Chris Tate

“The one thing you shouldn't feel pressured about is trading. If you do feel that way, you probably need to take a step back and reassess. Pressured trade(r)s don't make good trade(r)s.” – Joe Ross

While you can make mistakes playing videos games, making a mistake while trading could cost you tons of money.
As a thread that comes around on the forum if bitcoin is gambling.
Bitcoin is not gambling, neither trading a source of fun, unless you are a real professional and live over trades.

In my opinion it depends on you if how you make things differentiate like here in trading in cryptocurrency, you can consider this a game that you may able loss and win. You can trade and enjoy and still be careful how you make a trade here  in bitcoin. It is not healthy if you are very seriously here because loss may cause milder emotions. Much better  if you just keep it calm, but you must be careful of all decision you made to, so that to prevent from regreting in the end.

Hello,

Yea..I believe trading is fun.. Its really awesome to see your money rise up and be proud of yourself. At the same time, its interesting to evaluate your moves when you lose.

But..Invest which you can afford to loose.. Its challenging to enhance your crypto capital.
We can treat bitcoin as fun thing to do if we enjoy of what were doing like trading, but I didn't see trading as a games. Trading is fun if we see that our hard work are paid off and yes it is fun to know that we now found a thing that can probably help us to overcome our financial problem in life. I treat trading as a serious matter that when I treat it as games I know that I would lose a lot of my investments.
See trading as a game, it is very important, in my opinion.
Do you know the stress in trading?
If you know it, you understand trading is not a normal job, it always make your emotion change easily by something and you will feel more pressure in life every time the price drops
Exactly, Trading is not at all something like that of playing games or having some sort of fun. In fact, trading is quite a serious thing and it is lot more risky than any other thing. If you want to make some good amount of profit by trading, then you have to get very much serious about it. You actually need to plan in a way that you’ll be able to get some good amount of money in return.

actually, I see trading as an opportunity to achieve more profit than before. well, but there are some people who think like that. In fact, I also think that way when I first see trading.
Yeaaa the fun factor only comes when you are trying to place a random buy or sell position.
In hope to get a luck without doing any analysis , just do place there like that.
Other than that trading always give you more tension to become a serious person rather than treat it completely for fun.

The tension rate is at its highest for me while I'm trading then how I can see it as a fun game. No, it's very serious job for me and I'm getting very stressed out while trading my coins.

Of course no! Trading is very hard job so why I will consider trading as a games or fun? Most of my money are in the trading and I am very careful when I am doing trading for me to earn profit.

No trading isn't a sport, it is a very serious comany n whch a minor error will make you lost i lot of money which is a really difficult move to make, and so i do not observe that like a game, when some thing can make cash I usually serious rather than believed it as being a gamepia
I agree with you and I came across great minds in this thread. I loved to read about different people showing different thinking regarding same topic. This broadens the vision of The Reader. I don't consider trading again there is nothing wrong in enjoying whatever you do.

If a trader does his job with fun then actually he will be more productive and successful in his career. This is what I have learnt from my life.
Everything in life mustn't really be treated always as serious stuff on where you do come to a point that you are stressing yourself too much on involving yourself into trading. Just relax and do the things that must supposed to do without forcing yourself out. Enjoying and loving the thing that you do always will really give positive impact along the way.Expect for failures but we should learn from those things.

Yes of course,  i see trading as fun and games this because you are interested a lot. Seeing those tokens that having in progress and continuesly your give up until you can decide to sell it or trade. Funs and games are mostly combined series when starting trading or selling.

When you are winning trading is the best game in the world. But when the prices are falling it gives you a cold arm and i don`t think its fun on that time. But when it comes again it becomes a relief

No, I treat trading seriously, because its asking our time and money, we can't play with such valuable things. Maybe gambling include some type of fun as its almost about gaming, and people can gamble with the smallest amounts. In trading you have to invest good amount usually, and long time daily, so you need to make some earning or at least minimize your risk of losing.

I will not say that it is a fun game...there is money on the line and maybe your life on the line if you putted all your money on it... Somme people live only by trading mining..

Yeah trading is a serious business man. Who can say it is a fun  Cheesy  There is no funny thing in trading. You have to be well prepared if you want to earn in trading.

Only throwing the coins in the exchange and start trading will lead to no where and you will surely have a loss with no strategy.

For me, trading is not a fun and games because there's a involved in this so we need to be serious on it and make sure on the currency that we wanted to buy for prevent the risk of losing money. In the other words, we can only say that trading is just for fun and games if we are not serious on it.
But you should beat your fears if you want to get profit, unnecessary fear will prevent you from buying or selling at right times. I think if you didn't beat your fears you won't make profit.

I take trading seriously but it's fun, i had my first loss in trading and i accepted it like a player in a game who accept his losses. It is fun when you are gaining a great profit and good income by your own trading strategy, when my hard work is paid off it feels like a trading is really fun.

Yeah, losing your profits in Trading is more acceptable than losing your profits in gambling, it is because you know that you could easily get back the profit that you have lost on the next Trade that you are going to do. Learning your lessons on the mistakes that you have made will be the one that will make you a great Trader, and I agree that Trading is so much fun, not just fun, but you are having fun while earning.
