ICP for example accepts it's native token for website hosting. A lot of Caribbean islands accept BCH and BTC is legal tender in El Salvador and soon Honduras. I have used little things like buying app subscriptions or some online payment for some products or goodies. This is some of the small stuff for that I used crypto as a payment method.
I've just bought a game through crypto but it's not directly from crypto. I have to convert it digitally into fiat so that I can spend it on steam. That's what I do when I want to buy goods and online stuff from crypto. As long as it's convertible into fiat, that's what I do and I would love to do that directly if there's a game platform that accepts direct payments from crypto for their games.
