You are right. I think that the price of Ethereum did not go down, because of the competitors, but because of the market conditions. So far no other project is close to Ethereum and I have full faith in it.
I think that decrease of ETH has to do with big sell of ETH by campaigns that did ICO recently. For that reason the rate of ETH dropped. Also, exchange rate of bitcoin affected ETH negatively. ETH introduces updated into its blockchain and every time before every update the rate decreases.

I believed in Ethereum, from my experiences in my entire life in crypto that's the one that really gives me profit and that's what I like with ETH and pretty great to know this coin and it has a lot of supporters that makes the Coin very stable.

I still believe that ethereum will jump sharply by the end of this year. Indeed, ethereum has been declining lately but my hunch is another. I hope ethereum will rise again as of the end of last year.
