I get automatically entered into Stake's weekly lotteries sometimes but I can't say I ever follow it or care. I don't expect I'll ever win, but if I did it would be cool. I'm not even sure how that would work legally to be honest. Typically with certain types of gambling Americans have to take trips to Mexico (a quick trip for myself) but in the case of a weekly lottery I'm not sure how that would even work or if I'm allowed to be involved unless I'm in Mexico at the time. Consider that I don't go to Mexico every week or that I don't know when exactly the lotteries are taking place, and I would likely view a win as more problematic than anything.

Yes it's true but mostly they just buy a lot of lottery tickets in small amounts they think it's not a big amount they think it won't bankrupt him. And this is what makes many people do it because it can be installed in very small amounts, but sometimes you get lucky even if the amount is not large. But there are also many people who suddenly quit out of boredom because they never won, but will come back sometime when they find good numbers or environmental factors that can influence them very easily and this is real.

There are many types of lottery but the most common one is the game which has 6 numbers involved. Getting all 6 correct numbers is close to impossible but if you hit them all, the prize is also generous.

Lottery tickets usually has a fixed price but you can be able to buy more tickets in order to increase your chances of winning. The one you said there about wagering a ticket and earning a raffle entry is different from the actual lottery game although their odds are close to each other. Local lottery? of course, we have one near my place so if there are no people in line then I will obviously try my luck and see how it goes. The thing is that most of the times the line are too heavy because every one is trying to get their hands on it specially if the lotto pay is on the millions. But we all know that odds for to win is astronomical, so take our chances.

For crypto based lotteries, I have never tried it to, because in the beginning, it's really hard to show proved that the game is provably fair and that the one who started the game won't rigged the results.
