I just take part in our local lottery but not too often. It might sound weird but I only bet when I feel lucky with my number combination but unfortunately, I haven't won on it in my entire life even once. I'm just doing it for fun. There were lucky people in our community who often win in the lottery. I could probably say that winning in lotteries really works by luck. The chances of winning here are too small so it's hard to expect good winnings.

Aside from lottery in Freebitco.in, I don't think there's a casino which successful with their lottery.

i haven't heard of any successful casinos that offers free tickets other than freebitco though. people do no typically play on those game coz aside from there are so many competitors, they feel like it isn't worth to spend money on those things. there was even a meme saying that, the chances of winning is much lower than you getting accident, though it isn't very convincing but yeah, i have greater luck on playing slots than winning lottery so i'll choose slots over lottery if have to spend money on gambling.

You are probably right that the probability of winning a lottery is basically too low unless you buy a lot of tickets and manage to get some percentage of the total sold tickets, that might give you some chances of winning but that might not even be worth it since you've already spent a lot of money on it and since your spent money doesn't cover a very high percentage, the chances are you will lose the money more than to win a prize.

So it's definitely not a good practice to spend a lot of money on lotteries where your chances of winning are too low, but some people just always tend to believe in trying their luck in almost everything, I personally wouldn't mind participating but only if I'm getting free tickets some way, lol.

In other games, you can keep on gambling one after the other and can lose so much so quickly, here you do not at least have that. So, this is a "side bet" that you have and not the main course but it is better to have some tickets just in case if a miracle happens and you win.

If there is a vote here then for sure "No" will be the winner as majority hasn't joined or take part on any gambling or crypto based lotteries. It's the odd that this the major key here, I mean you really need to be extremely lucky to hit 5/6 or even 6/6 of the digits.

If I can remember I don't directly participated in the gambling lotteries but I unknowingly participated on it, there is this gambling site that whenever you wager around $20 you would get 1 ticket meaning one slot on the lottery and the more you play, the more you wager and it means the more tickets you will have but just imagine competing with the players with a budget of a thousand and sometimes million, but still that was a good one as even if I don't literally participate in the lottery I am receiving tickets for free.

- I have not tried the online lottery, but I have experienced the physical lottery by betting on it several times, so I stopped because in my mind it is not right to rely on the lottery because of our desire to get rich.

Imagining you can win in a lottery is like finding a needle in a haystack, so that's why you can think it's rigged.

I think lottery can be good if there's a limit of the player to participate, so we're know there are only 100 participants, so the winning chance for each people is 1% (still little though lol). You shouldn't think if you participated in 100 lotteries you will at least win once time, it's wrong because you might not win even though you have joined for 500-1000 times due to your bad luck.

the lottery is a type of gambling where the chance of luck is almost very slim to be able to win the lottery and some people who still bet on this lottery only want to take some of their luck. because luck is the main factor in gambling and in the lottery you don't need big money to win or get lucky.

but from this statement some people are very skeptical of the lottery for reasons such as seeking luck among the many million people who take part in the lottery gambling. so risking money in the lottery is like a waste and a waste of time.

As a gambler I am not attracted too much to lotteries as they are a very passive game, you need to wait for many weeks before the results are revealed and many times I end up forgetting I bought a lottery ticket and as such there is no excitement at all when I make a search to see if I won anything, plus the chances to win are so low that this diminishes my enthusiasm even further, however despite all its flaws I do buy some lottery tickets once in a while.

Some people don't like waiting for the results to be revealed; maybe many of them forget about it.
And when they go back to check, they don't find their name or number on the notice board but that doesn't stop them from buying another lottery ticket and hoping to win it one day.
Some people have been doing it for several years and still consistently buy that lottery ticket even though they haven't had the chance to win.
Well, maybe he was doing it for fun and to try his luck.

The same thing happens to me. Playing in the lottery makes no sense from a mathematical point of view.
