I'm sure almost everyone here doesn't have time to read it because it's too long, but I sometimes just take the important points which makes it easier for me to understand the whole thing. I don't have to read everything. Just the points are enough, how we have to know the rules there, the average thing I read is not Very different from other casinos, almost all of them have the same terms and conditions.

No one will have time to read all the terms and conditions, the point is that playing at a casino is inseparable from KYC and other conditions that must be understood, I'm sure if people have free time, they don't necessarily have time to read them, they immediately register and then make the first deposit. and gambling, for them is a good reputation and the rest they can deal with later.  Grin

I assume most gamblers don't go through reading all the broad terms and conditions that guides a casino because it is too voluminous and one can even get confused why trying to recap everything they've read but notwithstanding, it is important to read the terms and conditions that guides a casino so that you know if you can adapt to those terms or not. Though for me I don't stress my self going through all of them as I often pick the most important ones and read.

my take on this is that if you will deposit hefty or significant amount of money on the casino, would be best to at least browse the terms and conditions of the site. otherwise, whatever problem you will encounter regarding your negligence will be on you. so for example, the kyc part, at least you are amenable with their requirements. if not, then just go to other site which you think you can comply with what credentials you have.

you don't need to read all of them. but for me, the first one to consider is their withdrawal requirements. because it is your money at stake. of course, you would want to get out your money if you want to. you don't want somebody else taking hostage of your funds. but if it is your fault for neglecting their requirements, then, no one else is to blame but you.

you can also remind yourself of the following aspects :

  - check if the casino is a licensed one, because for sure they have something to say about AML/KYC policy
  - withdrawal requirements as well as fees
  - their chat/technical support (are they active at least)
  - minimum deposit (as you may deposit below their minimum and you won't get it back)

The terms and conditions of casinos and other companies is usually very lengthy and somehow boring for some people. Hence , many people rarely find time to read them. They may actually contain some of the complaints that people raise about some casinos such requiring KYC if there is need or suspicion of money laundering activities.

What is your take on this?

Hahaha nope! I know this is bad practice given that there are ToS that are essential and important that every person registering must know.

Under their ToS, some gambling companies can stipulate any prohibition that they want and once the user accepts the said ToS without actually reading it, it serves as constructive notice to everyone. If you happen to infringe upon their ToS, they can validly withheld your funds/winnings without any given notice.

I just hope that gambling companies can make their ToS "readable" given that they can make it appear as huge blocks of texts that can definitely sway a person from reading it.

Some details about my curiosity, especially on the terms of deposit and withdrawal.
We know that the whole terms is too long and many will not spend that much time reading the terms. The casinos should make it more readable and summarize the important details of the terms. If the casinos made some adjustments or updates, they should also prioritize sending its details so the gamblers can be more aware of it and know the current changes.

Honestly, it's too long to read it all. I just look at what's necessary such as KYC, withdrawals and deposit restrictions, countries that are banned. I'm not saying it's not necessary, it is really important. However, most gamblers tend to skip reading it and hastily use a gambling platform and ends up getting fucked up once their account gets banned or funds frozen due to a violation of the TOS. When I was new in online gambling I faced such problems such as problems with KYC, so I learned my lesson and started scanning thru TOS before using any platforms.

Reading the full terms and conditions of casinos can be really iresome and I am not doing it anymore. In the past I used to spend a lot of time reading the full terms and conditions, but now I am more relaxed about it. It feels like most casinos have very similar ToS and T&C that I can only focus on the important things. For me the most important part is about withdrawal and the bonus programs. I want to make sure that I fully understand how the withdrawal process works so I don't face any issues later on. Same goes for the special promotions for new customers, it's important to reading the small parts about how to claim the bonus and to take full advantage of it. The more money we want to deposit at a casino the more time we should spend on the terms and conditions.

The gambler should take some responsibility and read the full terms, conditions in the gambling site. Many gamblers will skip to read the full terms and conditions in the gambling site. They will read of first two to five terms in the gambling site, then scroll up the condition to the end and give agree in the gambling site.Because they don’t know the importance of the information mentioned in the gambling site.At the time of withdrawal the gambling site will ask to submit the kyc.So at that time they come to know the first condition of that gambling site.

I know it's good to have a look at the casino's TOS but this is something most gamblers don't do before signing up and I also must have been guilty of this. Instead of reading through the lengthy TOS, what I normally do is to google the casino and read reviews about it while I look out for the things that interests me like; the accepted countries, the minimum and maximum withdrawal limits, KYC status, supported cryptocurrencies and importantly users experience. If the boxes tick, then it's a go for me.

The gamblers going to use the money which is earned from their hard work,So spending sometime for the gambling site condition reading will be the better option to them.Because it also help the gamblers to play the wise game in the gambling site by knowing their rules in the gambling site.

Honestly, many people doesn't want to read terms and conditions because of the reason of being lengthy and sometimes are quit to understand but still choose the Agree option even if some of the terms are not clear. For me, we should give some time to read especially that gambling involves money and some legal information, we need to be more aware and even if the gambling site is trustworthy, we should still not skip that part so it's better to make an effort to read and understand these agreements, as they can have significant implications for your rights and responsibilities in gambling,

No! and No! I do not have such time to read through the lengthy and boring terms of services. I think many casinos deliberately make such terms to be overly lengthy in order to discourage gamblers from reading from beginning to the ending. Whenever there is an issue relating to the customer, the will easily dig up a section of the ToS to defend themselves.

Whenever I want to play in a new casino, I read the terms of services as it relates to;
  • Strictness of KYC
  • Deposit and withdrawal policies
Apart from the above two, I can go well with any casino because I do not have the intention of cheating any casino.

Terms and Conditions are very important but not easy to go through, I get so tired of reading everything and I prefer skipping to the KYC requirement part, I believe this is the biggest concern among gamblers as many are trying so damn hard to avoid passing KYC requirement unexpectedly, so its better to find this information first before making any deposit on the casino.

I someone still believe that ToS is going to safe you from a lot of stress, if a casino isn't supporting your location you can get the info from ToS before using the platform, and also you will know some rules which you can't break, most people that have problems with casinos always break the rules without having any idea about what they did wrong.

Some casinos might also don't allow the use of VPN, when you change your location too much from time to time or you are using different IP address it can be a problem, I remember that Binance exchange always log me off when I use a different IP to log into the exchange .

Most gamblers hardly do this maybe because in most casino's  the terms and conditions are so lengthy, so gamblers just seems it as time consuming to go through the terms and conditions.

But it is very important for gamblers to try their best as possible to take time to go through terms and conditions of any casinos they want use to play gambling and casino companies can make thong easy for gamblers by trying their best as much as possible to make terms and conditions very short as to enable gamblers to go through them without any haste knowing that it is very short to go through it.

Honestly, I don’t read the Terms and Conditions before registering. I rarely do this even outside of a casino setting. On some platforms, you can't accept or click the TAC checkbox unless you scroll to the bottom. It's known that it's a long read, so sometimes it feels like a never-ending story, making it tempting to skip through the fine print. However, what I usually do before registering on a platform is to check out the key sections that matter most to me on their website. That's what I prioritize checking – it's where our first impression comes from.

Reading of terms and conditions of any platform is important, we don't have a culture of doing that but just click accept and start using the platform without knowing what is written and later we begin to complain when things written as those terms and condition are been done. You won't waste more than 10 minutes reading the terms and conditions of casino platform therefore it's better we read them so we know what we're signing up to.

If the case was to go to a law court, they can use the fact that you accepted their terms and condition against you and you lose the case. Casino that won't to scam their customers will put in terms that will favour them when they want to denied you access to your winnings due to lack of kyc or been unable to convincingly proof the source of your capital that you used for gambling for people that used a large sum and also won a large amount of money.

Do people really read those?

Not just from the signing up in casinos but in almost every website and services that we use, I think that only a very few people does that time on reading all of those.

Like in a million people, only handful of them probably are or there's no one that does finish the reading with what's written into those.

Yes, but only focus about the information you're looking for.

Let's say you don't have any problem with KYC, then there's no need to check the casino has a mandatory KYC or not. But you're in Russia, since you know many sites had sanctions Russian citizens to use their sites, you need to check whenever Russia is restricted or not in their site.

People who gamble on online platforms usually do not try to follow the mentioned terms and conditions. The biggest reason for this is that the rules and regulations are written in legal jargon which is not easy for everyone to understand. Moreover, the terms and conditions are written in a large size in words that it becomes a matter of long time to find the desire terms. Gamblers feel that those who have started this casino business must be doing it from their good thoughts and must try to give their maximum. Moreover, since there is a lot of competition among gambling platforms, they must provide good service. Gamblers have positive thoughts and avoid reading those terms and conditions easily. But the gambler must have a good idea in several important factors like deposit, withdrawal or KYC verification.

sometimes I read but sometimes I dont but it depends on the situation what I want to do, I mean when I want to register at a new casino usually the main thing I read is about the minimum or maximum deposit and withdrawal amount and after that about the KYC rules.
for me, the most important point is just what I mentioned, even though there is a lot in the ToS, problems usually occur with KYC and withdrawals or deposits.

for other people here who have experience, of course they will also do the same thing as me because it really takes a long time to read the entire contents of the ToS, so those who are here only read what is most needed and to be honest, I myself very rarely use new sites because more often on favorite sites, every time there is a ToS change, there is always a notification when I log in.
but it's a good idea if you have a lot of free time, it would be better to read the entire contents of the ToS so that no mistakes occur and break the rules accidentally and some people who complain in the scam section about their reputation usually also have mistakes such as breaking the ToS rules by reason of not reading them.

I don't think anyone really do. And as I'm not into money laundering or mixing I don't think any of it matters. I haven't ever used a VPN on gambling site.
And as I gamble with smaller amount, I have never faced any event for my funds being held by casino. I also don't remember filling a KYC on crypto based casino. Did it on bet365 and might not be unwilling to do that if I have to.
Whatever the terms maybe, there's practically no use of it as they can change it anytime. The best way to avoid the casinos you don't want to join is to go through their review.
