I goggled him (his nickname) .... found this :

First off I’m an inventor. I have patents on my electric nose picker and toilet paper unroller when you clap your hands. I am working on patenting a gas fired bread toaster. I did make a prototype of a cranial electromagnetic stimulator but unfortunately I forgot how I did it because amnesia is one of the side effects. I’m also into civil war airplanes which is a neat hobby. I have followed my dream of moving into the country and raising my own food. Unfortunately I was sold a flock of gay chickens. They don’t reproduce very well. As much as I’ve tried (can’t tell you the methods here), I can’t break them of this disgusting habit.

"Oh no, I'm not sick, well I'm not physically sick anyway. Mentally I'm sick beyond any doctor's ability to measure it, but otherwise I'm great!" −

Edit i also found out why is he banned

'fully know why I received my ban. I was giving away 1 free Litecoin to each poster in a thread I had posted. The rules state that no free currencies can be given away on the forums, but I thought that by posting it in the Marketplace section this would make my thread exempt from this rule. Apparently not, but I hope to be back within a month on Bitcointalk.'

and the negative trust :v :

'The allegations against me are completely false. I don’t think my activities will cause anyone to empty their wallet for a ‘too good to be true’ deal. If you look at my most popular thread, it’s only a 0.002btc price (steam codes). In addition, people can see all the successful sales and that everything is above board and trust me. 99% of people have caught on that it’s a fun thing, and everyone got what they paid for. Hardly an attempt to make people blindly hand out BTC.'

He's not banned (AFAIK), I just don't trust him personally.
Why everyone else here seems to think it's their business whom I decide to trust, I don't know...

I just think you gave him that negative rating because you didn't get one of the awesome deals.
If you don't trust anyone, it doesn't mean you have to give him a negative rating. Just avoid him. If he scams you then that leaving the rating would be understandable.

yeah just once again goes to show the trust system is abused nonstop by users who think they r some kind of power police supermans throwing stones at every1.  there is not a single proper justification to give bipolarbob negative trust... only a tard would do that

~CfA~
I think the point of the negative trust given to him was because he was encouraging people to act in ways that would make it easy for them to get scammed. If people saw that someone was able to send $2 in bitcoin to someone first and they receive a $100 gift card then why would they not send $2,000 in bitcoin to a complete stranger in exchange for $3,000 worth of products?

It isn't his entire fault if this happens. He does have a excellent track record and people would be able to risk smaller sums of money. It isn't his responsibility to educate the public to make decisions but the public have to make wise decisions based on their research. The $2,000 is far to exaggerated, no one would dare to risk such high amount of money for returns as even if the person is trusted, he may scam. Bipolarbob offers smaller amounts which many people can afford to take the risk.

He also paid me from the same address to confirm it was his: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9768004/proof/proof4.jpg
This proves absolutely nothing at all.

But guys, PLEASE, remember to exercise caution with "too good to be true" deals. While BPB's case really is true, it's very atypical, and people should exercise caution and do their research before making a decision when trading on similar "too good to be true" deals.
pirateat80 was "really true" too... until it wasn't.

Where's the proof he isn't:
1) Scamming people with different nicks, to pay for those gift cards
2) Being paid off by scammers who take advantage of those he predisposes to making foolish decisions

Even if he isn't doing any of those things, he's de facto teaching people to make foolish decisions and become scammer bait.
IMO that makes him at least partly at fault for scams resulting, whether he was directly involved or not.

I agree with this. He very well possibly purposefully got himself banned, would create a new account that does something very similar to what he was doing, but at a much lower discount, then pulls off a scam.

Likewise, why do you think it's your business whom everyone else trust? If he scams, then people got what they deserved, as it's their responsibility for their own due diligence.

Live like there is no tomorrow!
I've dealt only once with BiPolarBob and the trade went really well. It's weird to see him wearing that red "Warning: Trade with extreme caution!" tag.

I bought a very cheap Steam code from him. He send me the code first and I paid him afterwards.  So, I only have a (very) positive experience with him.

Not taking any sides here, but I thought I'd post the interview I did with BPB in the past couple days: https://www.camscryptoblog.com/interview-bipolarbob/

I know most people haven't heard from him lately, and I thought an interview might explain why a little bit.

He has been banned on Bitcointalk, because he was giving away LTC. This is banned some time ago, because those topics were flooding the forum.

I don't think that is fair to ban him. Whatever the case may have been, he is a kind person. It's upon everyone to due diligence when dealing around here so he's not enabling people to get scammed. He's just helping people out.

You won't know if they were legitimate or not for at least a few weeks, based on other cases I have saw of people gifting/selling fraudulently obtained gift cards. It takes Steam a while to react after they get chargebacked if they are purchased using stolen CC's. Typically your entire account will be frozen.

Just be careful people and don't say nobody warned you. I don't believe him when he says he's buying everything at full price, if he is buying them for full price why doesn't he just give away the BTC instead? It doesn't make sense, what does make sense is that they are carded and it just so happens to be extremely common for people to giveaway or sell carded gift cards.
That is, of course, a possibility, but he told me that he just want people to be happy, which makes him happy in return. He doesn't seem to care about money that much. Oh well, we shall see if my Steam Wallet credit disappears or not Grin

He's been doing that in Bitcoin-OTC for the last few days.
Really? Well, I haven't been that active lately. It would suck if he really does that, because that is really sketchy.

You do realize you are accusing someone who gives out a SHIT load of loans to people who barely have any kind of rep, if any at all, just because he is a generous guy? Not a single thread of proof he has scammed someone, or is going to scam someone. Step off your high horse, get your panties out of a wad and step off his back, prick.

I accused him of wanting to scam and he demanded a "public apology". So, BiPolarBob, my apologies.

I still feel hatred. but they are fine-tuning my lithium treatments so that might change.

try venlafaxin (trevilor).... lithium is just bad and crazy stuff (only took it for two weeks - NEVER again)

Oh man... It does sound like him, a lot to be honest. Well, his Steam Wallet deals were legit at least. Not sure why he is doing this though. Maybe the rush, maybe just because. Who knows with that guy.

Asking people to send him bitcoins and he will double them, is in itself a negative/harmful act, even if he follows through.
Where does he ask that? I have never seen him make a post like that.
