Very unlikely for bitcoin to replace the dollar. The dollar is controlled by the governments, backed by gold and used the world over. Bitcoin is great as an alternate currency and for those who prefer anonymity and decentralization.
Governments and banks are actively looking into Bitcoin technology. While they may not decide to use Bitcoin really doesn't matter because now they have legitimised it and Bitcoin is unstoppable. If i could pay my rent, food and utilites in btc I'd already do that
I share same opinion with you guys. Its almost impossible for btc to replace dollar. Even if we can imagine that to happen, we are talking about far future.
Everyone looking into blockchain, but what will they do about it is a big question. With money they have, they are capable for big things. How its gonna happen is a secret for us ordinary people, if I can say like that.
Technology is replacing jobs constantly, more jobs are being automatized by technology than new ones are created, therefore in the long term the unemployment can only rise.
Technology! Magic word. And bitcoin itself is a technology, and cause of that I see bitcoin in the future. There is one nice thread about some article :
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/why-central-banks-will-fail-at-digital-currency-1510598"... you cannot have blockchain without bitcoin..." What to say more!?
