Its impossible to happen because its already publish as our main money internationally.. so usd cannot be replace it..
Bitcoin cannot replace the dollar currency. Because the two currency's are currently stable and strong and has its own demand for its own purpose. The question is will the dollar currency dominate bitcoin trading more than the other currencies?
You got that right. I dont really think it should be compared with dollar. I would rather compare Bitcoin with Gold for it is like the same. Mined and being depleted by the human race.

Well CEO of coinbase is a true financial analyst and there is really a chance of bitcoin will really going to replace dollar in the future,
And I think his prediction within the range of it is appropriate.

you realize that bitcoin is not owned by any country and will never be, why would they want to
replace their own currency with one that they dont have control to. it would be foolish for them
to let their hard worked currency be replace with one that just appeared several years ago. plus bitcoin
is only limited and if they try to make new bitcoins to refill the ever reducing funds the full purpose
of bitcoin fund deflation will be destroyed and the price of btc will dramatically decrease.
there is no technical way to replace the usd with bitcoin. you must know how transactions work if you believe bitcoin can scale.
We can't tell it, because the demand of bitcoin now is getting higher and higher and no one can stop it. Only the government can tell it and implement it if their congressmen will create a bill for replacement of dollar into bitcoin.
That is possible and I'm not removing the possibility about that.

i think it's very imposible, dollar can use in offline mode, example case village with no internet connection can't use bitcoin as payment processor.
Its a big joke and what a senseless though for bitcoin replacing USD well i can say bitcoin is nothing for dollars if no dollars no bitcoin will exist it is relying to it so it can be usefull, and also bitcoin is unstable thats why many businessman doubting to trust this coin because they can afford to lose money if the bitcoin price will go drop. and its prone to everything because its anonimous and no government controlled it.

It will never ever gonna happen, dollar is very established and it is very simple to use. You can use dollar without internet, or even without electricity, that alone cannot be beaten by bitcoins. Only educated people can use bitcoins and those are computer savvy so its better to have both.

Finally a good comment. I don't even want Bitcoin to replace any kind of fiat currency. I am happy with the fact that Bitcoin is, and will always be an alternative. Those who keep dreaming and thinking there is even a slight chance of Bitcoin replacing fiat are just living in a fantasy world. It will never happen, and I'm very glad it will never happen.

yeah totally agree with you dude I could be very comfortable bitcoin payment option or options for fiat currency it would have been better and there is no friction in it. No Us dollar is national currency of USA,any country need to have his own currency,look euro currency ad look what is happening with Greece and Portugal
