maybe yes as a global currency but within u.s. i dont think so as long as the u.s. fed dont have more than the rest.
Right now, the US dollar is the reserve currency so therefore it might take a little longer than we expected for Bitcoin to replace it. We need mainstream adoption to gain a step ahead for this to happen. The day that Bitcoin replaces the Dollar, would be the day that it would be used by all countries around the world (main currency) 
I don't think that it will be happen soon, it will take many years. Dollars is a global currency and people have trusted and used them as a mode of payment from many years. On other hand Bitcoin is new and most of the countries are not familiar with bitcoins, many countries like india have refused to regulate the bitcoins, so there are some challenges in front of bitcoins and to get resolved all the huddles time is required.
it will not happen,there is no monetary authority that restricts or boosts the number of bitcoin available, unlike fiat currencies whose levels can be controlled by central banks. There is lower uncertainty associated to this, as bitcoin can’t be used to control inflation or economic growth.

Something digital to replace something physical is hard, only if all money will be digitalized and the physical coins/cash will be removed.
I think that it will take at least 100 years to be replaced usd with bitcoin, or simple impossible.

Yes that 100% true bitcoin will never ever will replace dollar or any other currencies but it will be used as an alternative online currency to buy some of the items but we may be able buy all online items. But in future usage of bitcoin may increase and price also may go up from current price.
Agreed with you, there are very less chances to replace the dollar by bitcoins. Dollars are universally accepted wherein bitcoins are still struggling to build the trust and to get regulated in most of the countries. There will be increased in the users of bitcoins in future but it will be to a some extend and dollar will be the always remain as the global currency for trade.

Hey i`m not against banks, despite knowing their corruption in this system. They can still act as middleman, this service is very useful.

No, I don't think BTC will replace $ in an observable future. However there will be some people for whom BTC will play much significant role as a tool of payment than $. Maybe there are some already.)
Although I also believe in bit coin and love it, I don't think it can replace dollars not only in 15 years even in decades. Gold can be a good example as it is valuable against dollar but they are not being used to buy oil till now. Its how us dollar is dominating world market and their is a huge role of government for it. So I think same thing will happen to bit coin like gold.

I found that pretty funny, since even though i understand the concept, the dollar isint really a physical/real currency anymore. Its just numbers in banks being artificially printed and distributed by the federal bank.
But in the same logic, its not possible for a government to just "print" BTC to their heart's content so it won't be seeing much government adoption in our current "democratic" government.
