Bitcoin is the stronger currency in digital currency world. But to be strongest against the paper money like dollars I think it is a big dream. Because if you compare the bitcoin to dollar the popularity of dollar to whole world was good enough to bring it on top, while bitcoin was popular only to the netizen people or the people who always updated to the current events of the world on internet.

Agree. Bitcoin may be the strongest digital currency in existence, but it can never outmatch the dollar. Since the dollar has a lot of trust from people worldwide, and it is a centralized monetary system, it will always be in the eyes of the governments to manipulate its supply, unlike Bitcoin.

Also, the dollar can be used as paper money for people who don't have access to the internet or credit cards. With this in mind, the dollar has an advantage over Bitcoin as not everyone would have access to the internet to make a transaction. There exists paper wallet solutions for Bitcoin, but I doubt that you'll be able to make offline transactions with Bitcoin (unless you trade the paper wallet in exchange for fiat). With the dollar, everything is much easier and straightforward.

But, I believe that both Bitcoin and the dollar will co-exist for many years to come as people would have different options to choose from. In the future, the dollar might be upgraded to digital, staying head to head against well-known and established cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Just sharing my thoughts Grin

I don't agree that bitcoin will replace dollar anytime. Bitcoin is for investment.
Bitcoin has not being an investment as its primary function, bitcoin is a currency and that is the way we use it, being an investment is just a secondary function that all the other currencies of the world have, but I agree with you on the first part, bitcoin is not going to replace the dollar soon.

Bitcoin will never replace the dollar because it is impossible to manage. The us economy cannot survive in the current economic conditions. We see a constantly growing foreign debt and a relatively stable dollar. It's a bubble. But he allows US to be the No. 1 country in the world. What will the American government with bitcoin?

Bitcoin can not replace dollar, under no circumstances will happen. One factor is, not yet and never can handle very huge financial transactions like banking, and bitcoin is an individual currency because no one manages and regulates its circulation.

No I don't think that bitcoin can ever replace dollar in future as even if the price of bitcoins will go in millions it will be always compared to the price of dollars and even if people will sell they will prefer to get dollars in their hands so that they can spend it whenever they want.

Why not? hahaha. Bitcoin is much safer to use than the fiat money and the only concern in bitcoin is the wallet. Are the bitcoin wallets we use are still trusted once the fiat is changed to cryptocurrency? Or the government would established a wallet for all people. If this happened, there is a chance the bitcoin will be centralized. I think it is better not to interfere with the fiat moneys. Let bitcoin be itself. Bitcoin is a digital money and not all people could access digitally especially in poor countries. I think bitcoin needs to develop further before it would interfere fiats.

No matter how good bitcoin is, it would never replace fiat, specially Dollar, remember that printed money has been around for centuries, and printed money makes banks richer because of the fees, so you really think bitcoin will replace it? do you think the banks will let it happen? no way...
Bitcoin has so low fees to send money instantly to another country, like $1 per transaction (aproximately), if you wanna make a bank transaction to another country then the fees are like $30.
This is one of the reasons why bitcoin could never replace banks and fiat money, because of banks.

I'm not sure that bitcoin can replace the dollar. The government and US bankers will not allow it, but the fact that bitcoin can really make life difficult for the dollar that's for sure. We constantly see the outflows from the dollar in favor of bitcoin.

It's to say if bitcoin will ever replace dollar very soon. Dollar is a strong currency from the government of US.

And almost all countries are just depending their economy on how dollar is good, this is why dollar is a very powerful currency.

Bitcoin is also powerful, let's see on who will win this civil war.  Cool

That is the answer the dollar is already famous all over the world and everyone in the world knows about bitcoin and all countries use dollars for their international transaction activities. It is unlikely that bitcoin will replace the dollar while bitcoin is banned in different countries and not too well known

Bitcoin can not and will not replace the dollar, i don't think that there is anyway for that to happen because dollar has been the way that the world is using to trade and to let the weehl of the econnamy turn, and alos has a stable price, unlik bitcoin that keeps changing and also peopel would not spend it because they want to save it,and that will slo the econnomy.

If it is possible it will not be imposed sooner. It will undergo a lot of approvals as some of the countries around the world still doesn't approve bitcoin at all. I think it will takes years and there is a big chance that some countries will not fully accept bitcoin. But for me, for some countries it is possible.

if the price will keep raising like that it will replace dollar for sure all the investers will use the bitcoin over all other currencies so it will be the main currencies of the market and then it will be the international methode to pay and the banks will be forced to accept bitcoin. but if it will go down and what is hard now but there is a hard chance to go like that bitcoin will start from the beginning and that will be bad it survived the first time but if it will drop down again there is no chance to survive.

I tend not to believe that the dollar will be replaced by a digital asset.

Bitcoin is not just a currency.

Bitcoin 'enables' the transmission of all the currencies of the world.

I look at Bitcoin in much the same way as a conveyance belt in an airport - in this reality, fiat currencies are the luggage and bags that are placed atop this conveyance belt and moved from point a, to point b.

This is 'one' of bitcoins' abilities.

The dollar, and most fiat currencies. perform a completely different task.

I could be terribly wrong, but I don't believe that bitcoin can be compared with any fiat currency at all. This would be like comparing a bicycle with an aeroplane

The paper dollar could be replaced by a digital asset, but it's likely to be the digital version of the dollar, which already dominates the US economy. More transactions and more value is conducted electronically than in physical currency, and the trend continues to grow. Visa during its quarterly conference calls openly talks about its war on cash. Private companies are increasingly pushing electronic payments and consumers are increasingly preferring it. No need to revolutionize the system with bitcoin, the system is already in the middle of a massive evolution.
