I'm sure for now the value of bitcoin is very good and much in demand by all global community groups, and maybe bitcoin will last a long time, but for up to 100 years we just pray that bitcoin can last that long

To think about whether there will be 100 years is a waste of time in my opinion. The development of the crypto world is always fast and innovative. There may be new developments that will replace crypto currencies as we know them today. In 2007 no one thought that there could be a decentralized currency without a central bank or central manager.

2140 is so far from our current year, and if you will be basing the state of bitcoin these days, bitcoin is not that good since there are some issues that are still need to be fixed and be developed. In the long run, not only the price will be increasing but also the users of this digital currency, if it is not developed to be used by a lot of people, it will not last.

100 years, I think that's a very far-fetched assumption. no one knows for sure the event will come except god. but if you look at the current bitcoin growth, I would expect bitcoin to continue to grow. especially if later many transactions can be done with bitcoin. for example, buy a car with bitcoin, buy a house with bitcoin. which is more important if bitcoin gets support from the government then it can be sure bitcoin in the future will be highly developed.

a 100 years is too long can exist. I think in the next 10-20 years there will be a good enough altcoin to replace bitcoin.

A 100 years is a vast and large amount of time, there are two possibilities in this one, bitcoin could survive given that the government will allow it and second it wouldn't be able to survive that long because of many users and it can't hold the cause.

100 years it is very far from now, no one will know for sure what will happen, I believe the technology that they use is already very advanced and the possibility of paper money no longer in use.
Bitcoin i think will be one of global money in use at that time.

Very tough question . First of all, plz let us understand that BTC is not yet regulated globally , thats one of the main reason which question sits survival long time. ONly bTC team can answer this and their vision as well in terms of short term and long term .I had this doubt myself as in my country its not regulated yet and there are no signs of being regulated here .May be it may happen in the near future seeing the demand of BTC and usage, anything is possible.But i have no opinion on 100 years survival.

Yes, guessing 100 years is too difficult, technological developments and world trends are also very fast changing, people used to think that Nokia can survive to be number one but now drown and have to start from scratch again.

bitcoin has no other resources. Bitcoin is created limited, how can you think that bitcoin can last for another 100 years.
Bitcoin may remain for the next 100 years but may no longer be used, it may also be replaced by other virtual coins.
Because as we know the more advanced technology so it is not impossible if is another genius who can create a duplicate bitcoin for example now for the Chinese genius Jack Liao has created Bitcoin gold

It could have survived or even had a fantastic price, because if we look at the graph of price developments from the beginning of birth until now it is very significant, if using a rough calculation graph over the last 5 years stay multiplied by 20 then the bitcoin price 100 years into the future
