I would love to use only crypto and it is expected that bitcoin will replace the paper money and the digital currency like bitcoin and altcoin are good to hold while the paper money is using for online purposes while the people who are interested in investment they have to invest in the crypto and i think in our country the digital money is not yet popular to change the paper money but may be in the future.

Personally, I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that.

What do you guys think? Wink
I think this is very unlikely to happen. I know a lot of people in the World who rely on blockchain technology. But is it that easy The government turns its currency into a digital currency? Surely this will create new problems for all countries that do so. And I'm sure the Government will definitely keep the currency of the country. Maybe in the future, we will still use digital currency to be more practical, but I'm sure there are still many people who need paper money for their daily lives.

It's likely possible to happen. Some economics professors have predicted that digital currency such as Bitcoin will replace paper cash within a decade. The digital currency will have an influence on the fiat currency systems of the world. However, fears of hacking, viruses, and other attacks on the entire financial foundation of a nation via purely digital means will likely make most nations slow to adopt such a form of currency. I think it's still a prediction,  and we don't know exactly when. Time will tell.

Let the digital currency to replace the currency is not possible. Most governments are not willing to, because they can control the number of currency issuance, and digital currency is to the center, it is the whole world. No country can control it. In addition, in some special areas, it does not support the payment of digital money, and some transactions may also require physical delivery. All these do not need to use digital money.

I dont think cryptocurrency will replace fiat maybe they can be an alternative way on transaction or money itself but it wont replace fiat money. Because fiat money is like a national treasure or identity of everynation that has it. Plus there's more to explore, change and improve cryptocurrency before people and nations can rely solely on digital currency.

Yes it will in the near future as you can send your payment instantly without going to remittance centers meaning hassle free. Digital currency was created to have a very fast transaction anonymously but be careful with those scammers.

In my opinion not yet, but maybe someday it will.
As we all know that the price of digital currency right now is volatile and many companies don't want and turned down bitcoin as a payment for their product because of it's consistency in value but maybe someday bitcoin might do something amazing again and make it's way to the top. because we can never tell what will happen in the future, Honestly. So it's a No for me, for now.

I think so. On one condition, digital currency is legally accepted and used as payment system. Besides if the governments take control upon digital currency, then it is believed that paper money can be changed by the digital currency.

I voted yes, but by digital money I do not mean Bitcoin.

Many people now prefer to use debit/credit cards for payments.  This will continue to a tipping point where physical money is no longer produced.

Yes, digital currencies will replace paper money. The days of paper money are numbered. Online money transfer is now prominent in most of the countries. However, the time for paper money to completely vanish will vary from country to country. It will happen faster in the developed countries.

I don't think digital money will replace paper money. Digital money has not yet been widely used around the world. Digital currency trading is banned in many countries. Second, digital currency transactions require the Internet, and there are still many places without the Internet, which will lead to the inability to trade.

I'm not sure, because there are still many people who do not understand technology primarily using digital currencies. It look like paper money will still be used as the main currency of many people.
This is not a priority as we had many issues about the cryptocurrency with regards to the implementation and the support of the government. Yeah paper money is still useful as all of us understand it.

While it is true that society is getting more and more dependent on technology due to convenience, there are those regions and areas where this is not applicable and could get you in trouble or hassling situation.
But while it is convenient, there are risks if we put all our resources in a digital platform. There are a lot of capable hackers around the world that have the capacity to steal from you.
I agree that digital currency have the capacity to replace paper money, but this is way ahead in the future, or any other means can replace it.
But the risks are great.

Looking at the history of money the one feature always changes its course of developing. It is convenience. From shells and heavy gold coins, we have moved through the lighter paper cash to the digital currency. I believe the paper cash is just a step in the evolution of transactions.
