I don't think so, we will have both physical and digital currency in the future but not a replacement

I agree with you. Paper money will remain. Because it is one of the identity of every country. Though digital currency will be the future money, paper money will still be used in the future.

I think there is opportunity to get there, but it will not happen soon. There is still much that needs to be addressed regarding the application of the system from cryptocurrency. First, the regulation of cryptocurrency within the region of each state. Second, the global regulation governing cryptocurrency. If it's all done, the time will get closer.

To be honest, I was kind of taken aback by the poll result when I did my vote. The yes votes are only up by 9 points. I was thinking that the yes would be so much ahead of the no. Paper money is not something that we can consider innovative or technological. It is a thing of the past. Sooner or later I am 100% sure that it will be gone. Only time will tell as to when exactly. But our cashless society is on its way already to full completion. We are using online payments and cards already right?

I think so, it is not impossible that paper money will soon be replaced by digital currency because bitcoin at this point is not yet legally implemented by many countries. Most likely in the poor countries there will be the people will have this problem so they will rely on the paper money as their way of payment since they don't have things to access digital currency.

I think digital currency will never replace paper money. The level of illiteracy is very high such that if digital currency is to be the only form of money, many people especially those in the developing countries can’t use digital currency.
This will have to come with an intensive education. If it were to be for some particular countries where illiteracy rate is very low, I would have said yes.

We are used to the modern financial system, because we did not have alternatives. We knew about its shortcomings, such as dependence on the will of dignitaries, about its past crashes like the financial crisis of 2008 (and many, many others), but we, it seems, never really thought about it - and can it be otherwise? It turned out that there is an alternative, and if so, are we really on the verge of changing the financial paradigm?

I think that in a few years we will forever forget that there was ever paper money. Crypto currency is very closely and very long into our lives.  I'm sure of this 100%.

This is quite possible, if only because we live in a world where the Internet plays a key role in the life of the world community. And digital money is logical.

true, digital money is easier and more efficient for human use and it is very helpful and time-saving, but anyway original money will not be eliminated

It would be great if this happens. But in my opinion it is far from reality. There are still many people all over the world who haven’t heard of this. Think from the view point of the weaker sections of the society. They can’t even read and right but can use cash to buy stuff. So they won’t be able to use Bitcoin. Further internet requirement, loss of power of government, and entirely decentralized economy are some more problems which prevent digital money from replacing cash.

it already did what are credit or debit cards, not fully replaced it but it did, don't be ignorant about that fact think about btc as new banking system who is in development.

Credit and debit cards are not full replacement of Fiat as they are infact backed up by the paper cash. Digital currency is something different and in reality is total independent of paper money. Paper money will be worthless once the digital currency take over the financial system of the world and it will happen for sure.

Nothing is impossible. Society today is increasingly dependent on technology. But in my opinion, digital money can not replace paper money. Although the money is convenient but it's value is not stable, it can not be used to quantify the value of an item.

I think so. On one condition, digital currency is legally accepted and used as payment system. Besides if the governments take control upon digital currency, then it is believed that paper money can be changed by the digital currency.

Its obvious that one day we will be moving but I cant really see that day any time in near future. In india we have a lot of people who don't even use the banking channels digital currency is something they haven't even though in dreams. Moreover the thing is that for cryptos or any other digital currency to become successful everyone must realize that currency is nothing but just some national debt accumulated over year once people are aware that fiat is nothing but just a scam going on with them automatically digital currency will come up to replace paper money.

Never! Paper money can never be replaced as all the centralised banks running them would have to close down and governments would never agree to a decentralised system of commerce. Corruption will go rampant if this ever happens so for the good of all, lets hope it does not.

If a country's people invest in Bitcoin, they will know the importance and value of Bitcoin. If they want to legalize Bitcoin, the extent to which they want to make Bitcoin depends on the government. If not, then Bitcoin becomes more and more important because of the highly used and invested currency.

That will not happen. Although I hardly carry cash wuth me nowadays and always pay with my credit acrd it sometimes comes in handy when you got cash in your pocket. Big amounts are paid by transfer, so in that case paper money is of no use. But digital currency will not replace paper money, not in this decade.
