It's possible for digital currency to replace paper money, but it take a long time, because digital currency requires Internet facility to work, and for now all most 30% of the world has no Internet connection, mostly rural areas, we are in digital age.

I believe slowly money on paper will disappear, I do not think it will disappear from one day to the next, very few people know cryptocurrencies yet, but I think that in 20 years money on paper will no longer exist

Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that.

What do you guys think? Wink

globalists will want that, but there will also be regionalists that dont want that.

We might have digital money, but it wont be Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency at all, it will stay fiat, but only on credit cards and in digital form on our phones and computers. Every country is going toward doing this, and cryptocurrencies wont be an option because the volatile price, the fees, decentralization.

In India, the mobile payment options (such as PayTM, Mobikwik, JioPay.etc) are very popular, as they are very easy to use. If Bitcoin can offer a better deal when compared to these services, then definitely Bitcoin can be a major alternative.

I think it's possible to replace paper money by using cards, phones. But if bitcoin will know all around the world. Because now days some people do not know the internet and online transactions. We need a time to make it happen.

It will never replace a real currency for the simple fact that it is more difficult to manage and certainly much less traceable. Furthermore, not all people are within reach of knowing what a digital currency is. Maybe in a not too distant future ... let's say in thirty years

in the future maybe yes, digital currency will replace the paper money. but for now or 5 years again maybe not yet, or maybe just some developed countries are succeess in replacing paper money with digital money. because about the development of digital money is not evenly distributed around the world, so where might all countries willing to accept payment with digital money. unless all these technological advances are equal, digital money will be used to simplify the transaction.

it will take years to replace monetary system but eventually yes.. some merchant and/or establishment accepting online payment may be in the future digital currency will be recognized by many people
I am one of the fan or supporters of digital currency but i dont think it can replace the paper money, why? Because paper is part of the daily life of all people in this world and paper money has so many function to this world, so even the digital currency will be more stronger, the paper money will surely still exist in this world.

I think for now digital currencies can not replace paper money, even though technological developments are getting more sophisticated, because not everyone knows the digital currency, it will be very difficult for them to make payments such as shopping, or buying daily necessities.

I fully believe that digital currencies will take the place of national paper money. This is a real outcome. Investors are aware of the change. People who have not noticed the change yet will see the signs soon.
