No, I think digital currency will never replace paper money, maybe this will not happen in the future. Not all the people in the world can operate and dependent in the new technology, so not all the people know about digital currency. Digital currency available through the internet, but there are countries who do not have any access into it.

I think it's obviously different. Digital money already has its own place, while paper money remains the money we use in everyday life. but with a note, if all readiness supports to make digital money into daily money, why do not we use it as well.
As you said in regards to whitepaper then it ought to be keep like that since we needn't bother with a cash in white paper I would prefer not to see bitcoin in a whitepaper on the grounds that bitcoin is 100% safe in cryptographic forms of money while other nearby monetary standards are phony outlined in a market too to influence somebody to trick so I might want to state that we require bitcoin as a digital forms of money.

Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that.

What do you guys think? Wink

I agree with you as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things absolutely. But it will with certain class with very fewer percentage. This number is increasing rapidly day by day. But still its totally virtual. And at physical mode there is need of fiat currency locally, globally.

Fiat currency is real need of end users, governments and system which is already running with.

But Digital currency is becoming more famous, considering platform of investment as well as mode of exchange. It doesn't mean like as paper money will be replaced by digital currency, but digital currency have ability if implemented properly.

I think so, it is not impossible that paper money will soon be replaced by digital currency because bitcoin at this point is not yet legally implemented by many countries. Most likely in the poor countries there will be the people will have this problem so they will rely on the paper money as their way of payment since they don't have things to access digital currency.

I do thinks that digital currency have a potential to replace it, but i can not predict it when. The best option for me is for digital currency and fiat money to get along together.
But in my opinion, digital currency has some major threat for us right now, which is security. I agree that the security level now is acceptable, but there is so much that can be upgraded such as how to track our money when it disappears, etc. If the security improved, i am really sure that people would really love to use digital currency rather than using paper money.

It's really hard to say if digital currency replaces paper money, I do think that it will just add as a currency and the paper money will still continue. If you think before when gold was still the currency or exchange, when they started paper currency they did not remove gold but the paper currency gain more popularity and it made as the main currency for the whole world but still gold is still available. It would be just the same and it will totally depends on the people on what they will use.

Yes. I think digital money will replace paper money. In the future, people do not need to bring banknotes to go shopping. Only need mobile phone. This is a very handy thing. I think digital money will change our lives. I am optimistic about the future of digital currency. Smiley

I also think that this can happen. In the future, machinery technology will gradually replace people working. bitcoin will be further developed. Bitcoins will replace traditional coins. Just use the bitcoin virtual card to pay for your daily payments.

i think, yes  but still we have a choice what we like to use. bitcoin can use like money or you can invest. bitcoin is future currency like ATM card we can by something by online and payment you can use bitcoin and money transfer. not like the bank to much time and small profit.

I dont think if bitcoin or digital currency will replace the real money/ paper money,  because as far as now theres a lot of people didnt know about bitcoin and they didnt believe in bitcoin and the valur of bitcoin is not stable so i dont think if bitcoin will replace paper money in the future.

you are talking like that because maybe the digital currency in your country has been legal, but it has not happened in my country, and probably still many other countries that have not received this. here, the local currency is still the main one, while the digital currency can not be accepted as a valid payment instrument. Maybe it will happen, but not for the present time.

for now, I think not. although it does have potential, but to replace paper money, I do not think that's enough. there are still many shortcomings of digital currency, and access is so limited. you can not use it in a place where there is no internet connection.

I am quite certain that there will be times when "paper money" will not be a thing anymore, but that's not nowhere near our existence in my opinion. There are still a lot of stubborn generations out there and underdeveloped countries which would not simply give in to the idea to be "paying or be paid in air".
