From my perspective, the fact that tesla is now accepting dogecoin makes the coin more than a meme coin as dogecoin is now a means of settling payment and as such shares some qualities with Bitcoin and ethereum. There's no such thing as a useless or worthless cryptocurrency. Dogecoin still has more prospects, if it's also a good crypto for payments.

Yes I read the news a few days ago, and DOGE soared after it was published, Elon loves this coin so much, and his next game on DOGE has just started. I think other shitcoins behind DOGE will also taken steps to follow suit, like my notes about DOGE and shitcoins before, i hope so, since i have some drowned shitcoins.

Actually, I don't think that this news is capable of breaking the trend. When Elon Musk declared this, Doge grew up by 25%, but it seems to me that red market will continue. Elon Musk influence mostly meme coins, but he doesn't have such a big impact on other cryptocurrency. If the doge not relying on elon words anymore on what it could rely ? doge has no usecase and future plans, this coins price will increase only if people are on hype for this coin. If this has some effect, and it has as the price of Doge shows, this is going to be temporary. The market is bearish at the moment and Doge could not just rely on the words of Elon Musk for its rise. And this is not something new. So the effect will be of lesser degree than the first and probably second time Elon Musk showed support for Doge. And of course this is not Tesla cars that could be bought using Doge. This is just Tesla merch.

No, doge slid right back after the pump yeah its still higher but after the honeymoon of that announcement wears off its gonna continue the slide down. Sell the news is true here. If I look at it from a crypto perspective as a whole, the current situation will push all coin prices back up.

Doge will definitely rise at it is one meme coin that Musk love to promote and shill for.

And him announcing that they will accept it, will put the price to the moon again and good for it's bag holders and then some investors who have been holding it even at the start of this year.

For the heath of the overall market though, it could rally some coins and have a positive impact but only in the top 10-20. All other coins shouldn't be affected by this, expect maybe pump and dump and shitcoins to be used by this groups again to ride on this news.
