There was the time when people used to believe on elon musk but after some bad tweets about bitcoin of elon musk people starts hating him. Because his tweets were the reason for massive dump on bitcoin and as well as some Altcoin like dogecoin which is pushed by elon musk right now most of the people don't care of elon musk tweets.

I also don't care what Elon Musk says, I think he just talks a lot and by taking the wrong data, I'm sure the more he talks bad about crypto then this becomes a free crypto campaign so it will continue to skyrocket.

I also keep asking myself what made him have to make a tweet that attracts market interest...
the funniest thing for me was when Elon said Bitcoin is so bad for the environment. I think if he thinks like that why is he investing in Bitcoin. he is really trying to manipulate the market.
The abuse of its influencer power is completely unforgivable. He is innocently trying to monetize the emotions of the crypto community with just twitter. Trying to praise, then avoid and praise Bitcoin again, of course, is an experiment of market manipulation by Elon.
He had a Tesla, but his greedy nature wanted so much more by invading the Bitcoin world to work on him. He's perfect for being hated by everyone.
Elon Musk is no longer trying to manipulate the market, but is really already manipulating the market through his tweets  Wink I think that no one will deny that it was Musk's answers and statements that made a decisive role in the movement of the exchange price of dogecoins. After frolicking in the altcoin market, Musk then turned his gaze to the much larger bitcoin market, with a much larger capitalization. The most interesting thing is that I am not at all sure that the ultimate goal at the previous stage was for Ilon to monetize emotions or work out the principles of working with the crypto audience. So far, there seems to be no special consistency in sight, but it may well appear if Musk launches his own cryptocurrency.

Not only Elon but also many other people are manipulating the cryptocurrency market, Recently the cryptocurrency market has been constantly being hit by FUDs from China, do you think the Chinese government is also manipulating the market this?

I don't think the Chinese market is manipulating the market, but I think they are doing it wrong probably to teach investors lesson not invest on it again after first attempt.
Have you notice that the cracks down on mining farm always happens during bullrun that always lead to loss on many traders and institutional investors. Its purposely done to hurt every holder of bitcoin.

I'm pretty sure he is manipulating the market. All his tweets have affected the market. Is he trying to prove his cleverness? It may be more for profit. I don't quite understand what his motives are for him. Every step of his is calculated and is his conspiracy. Now I don’t believe his tweets anymore. Angry

If he is the only one, nothing will be changed for cryptocurrency. I am afraid that many well-known and influential people will do the same, because some people know that the news is based on their posts, but if this is the case, will there be a few? Other influential people are controlling the market at the same time. One person cannot control it, but what if it is a group of people?
if that is a group of influencial people well the market is in great danger but i dont think there are lots of them because if we can see the attention of the news is only foccused in elon and not by other influencial people .
elon maybe alone but this guy has funds and has lots of followers and this are enough to cause a good swing in the market if it worked according to what is planned .

The massive dump happened when Elon Musk tweeted about Tesla not accepting Bitcoin as a payment method, whereas a lot of people also lost investment especially beginners who recently put money hoping for a huge pump. After that, a massive fud has happened simultaneously like all of it was all planned and most of us are really f*cked up, -50% loss in the portfolio.

List of fuds that makes the crypto market crash:
-Elon Musk tweeted about Tesla not accepting Bitcoin as a payment method
-Bitcoin price falls after China calls for crackdown on bitcoin mining and trading behavior

Elon, in my opinion, is truly manipulating the market by issuing a statement on his Twitter account that is very influential to the majority of people in the crypto scene without DYOR even his people that are engineers can't assess the reality of bitcoin mining! He stated that BTC isn't good for the environment and having a huge power consumption but many of the experts have already debunked his statement.

I've read also a topic here that also debunks the claim about power consumption. ---> Debunking the "Bitcoin is an environmental disaster" argument.
and here's another one. https://coinshares.com/assets/resources/Research/bitcoin-mining-network-june-2019-fidelity-foreword.pdf

Then what happened, whales buying into the dip, and so on...

https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1396914548167233537

Elon Musk tweeted this as if he truly cares, despite the fact that he is the one who started the fud and made early decisions before putting it into action.
I think Elon is manipulating the market, taking advantage of all those who are following in his footsteps, and it makes me fearful that the sole purpose of crypto being decentralized may be lost soon if the manipulation continues. What do you think?

Edited. The sole purpose of this is to raise awareness of Elon Musk's actions among new traders, so I completely agree with the majority of the responses on my thread.
Agreed. After his company tesla sold over 272M$ worth of BTC in the first quarter, he tweeted about how BTC is bad for the world. He spread FUD and trying to manipulate price to go as low as what price he bought the 1.5B worth of BTC. And probably now he bought at the bottom and trying to have a profit for the 2nd half of the year.

You clearly say he manipulates the market but you don't understand what is His motive? sounds contradiction mate because manipulating is a clear reason for his motives here.

and also Elon is here to make tons of money for his Mars project , and he cares nothing for you, for me and for everyone.

The fault lies with cryptocurrency users. What was the need to hype the comments by Elon Musk so much? I understand that Elon is the second richest person in the world and his entry in to the cryptocurrency sector was supposed to be mutually beneficial. But see what he did in the end. Once he came to know that it is not possible to manipulate Bitcoin, he tried to destroy it. Bitcoin was cruising towards the $100,000 level when he made his tweets regarding energy usage of Bitcoin and the dip started from that moment. It is a big lesson for all of us. We should not trust any of these billionaires.

Maybe Elon Musk wants to control the market (maybe the rich want to control the market), because of his attitude towards Bitcoin, no one believes in Musk anymore. He still has some fans who believe in him. Will also pay attention. There will also be some discussions and enthusiasm in some media because of his posts. But everyone will not invest blindly, because everyone already knows what type of person Musk is.

His manipulation is very obvious using his influence and position to move market to his favour. Thank God he's not the richest man in the world cause he would have tumble the crypto market, using it as a means of enriching his pocket. The aim of a business man is to make more without being interested whether his decision might affects the general market. Elon is an interesting joker who is ready to do more of his manipulation.
It is true. whatever he writes on social media will be in the spotlight of many people. I still wonder why there are still many people who are hypnotized by his words, even though he does it just for profit. I feel grateful he's not as rich as Jeff Bezos or Bill Gates

the saddest part of it all is that there are scammers who are trying to take advantage of the fact that elon musk is involved in the crypto world, i just saw this site:

https://tesla.com-giveaway.me/dogecoin/giveaway/ ( scam site, created by shit scammers )

It's a classic scam attempt and I'm sure many people will get caught up in this scam if the marketing is good, This also reminds me of Blockchain, EtherDealta scam where scammers phished those sites and advertised them through Google Ads and funny they those Ads were approved  Grin

the sad thing is that there on facebook where i saw this site, people are still excited that elos musk is in the crypto world, for most people it is doing well for this market. they don't understand how dangerous it is for someone to have so much influence

People are always excited to make money and this excitement peaks whenever there's Hype, Look at the example of XRP.
People still believe to their death that XRP will reach a trillion-dollar market cap and will beat all others cryptos.
Let people get scammed they'll learn from it and will spread awareness to others, I think people getting scammed is a good thing, for example 1 person gets scammed he can spread that awareness to 10 different people.

lol here's a meme video in XRP, have fun - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ck98XGXzkrY

Maybe Ellon musk manipulate in the market but we do not know what kind cryptocurrency so we can not define but in my observation maybe he just manipulate cause he mentioned and also talked about or regards in cryptocurrency ,maybe the bitcoins or the Dogecoin that he manipulate in the market.
For sure Elon Musk was manipulating the market right from the time he became part of it. But that’s an old story and no one talks about Elon Musk these days, because most no longer cares about what he has to say or not. A lot of people has now realized the mind of person he is and what he has been doing, so they are entertaining every thing he has to say.

If it was before they would have been trending him everywhere for every single tweet he makes. These days I hardly see someone about it. We are all hoping that market starts getting better and more stable so that none of these people can do nothing to mislead the people easily and manipulate the market.

I doubt he is doing it anymore. I understand that he did and I agreed that he did, that is what he was happy about as well, not the fact that doge went up and he made money, I am not even sure if he had any doge aside from some joking amount (for him of course, 100k is nothing to him so it could be huge for us too?) I just think that he liked the idea that he could tweet a coins name and then the coin would come up and people would make money and show him huge amounts of love.

That is just not something people could leave aside, if people send you loving tweet replies in thousands every time you tweet something about doge, you would support doge as well, it is just impossible to reject love from the public it is very difficult. This is why he manipulated the market, but after a while he stopped, no idea if it is something about SEC or anything like that but he is  no longer doing it anymore.
