After Elon Musk's silly and manipulative statements about the non-environmental friendliness of bitcoin, I decided that listening to such people is just a waste of time, and even more so it is not worth following their advice. I find it funny when I hear this because most of the things around us are much dirtier than Bitcoin. Even the classic banking system is much dirtier - let's shut it down and leave only cryptocurrency. The world will become cleaner and better the very next day!

If you look at the events that recently happened I think so. because indirectly with a tweet he tries to manipulate and dominate the market.
For people who have been in the crypto world for a long time maybe some will not be interested but the followers of Elon and Fomo are so many that with him starting his twitt the market will change. not only that with his tweets against BTC also indirectly more or less this is very detrimental to me.
I don't know other people think the same or not but for me this is included in market manipulation

The blame with regards to the price manipulation within the market must not entirely be blamed into Elon Musk alone because admit it or not, his influence make a huge impact into the minds of his supporters and followers making the market move in which such actions involves many people and not just him alone. The manipulation of the market is brought by the involvement of many. His big contribution with this is his tweets which turns to be luring or manipulating people's minds and those have comes into real actions. But since his recent tweets, many people have already made up their mind to turn down listening to him anymore which is lessening the supporters he have on his side.

Is Elon Musk manipulating the market, the answer is definitely yes ,, Elon Musk uses his wealth, to smooth out his cunning tricks, the goal is just a sensation so that everyone knows better, and he also wants to increase his coffers of wealth ,, the billionaire game is something that normal, I see, he has everything, so it's easy for them to play where he wants ..

Do you think Elon is manipulating the market?

Others certainly exist, but Elon's 'Manipulation' system is money vs. money more clearly Bitcoin vs. Bitcoin generates Bitcoin and money, anyone can do that "manipulate" on the condition of having a lot of money.

What Elon did has both negative and positive effects, some of which can get rich quick and some of the losses, but it has all happened, indeed regret always comes late, for that there is always a written warning in every market:

CAUTION Crypto asset trading is a high risk activity. Crypto asset prices are very volatile, where prices can change significantly from time to time. Please use extra judgment in making decisions to buy or sell crypto assets. does not force users to buy or sell crypto assets, as an investment, or as a profit-seeking action. All crypto asset trading decisions are independent decisions by the user.

If you remember this article, of course you won't be bothered by everything that happens to crypto today and in the future.

I think Elon Musk, not fully in favor of bitcoin, he is more towards Dogecoin, When he received payment with bitcoin, arrived to dismiss it on the grounds of wasteful electrical energy. The question is why did Elon Musk just tell you about this? Why not from the beginning? I don't think Elon Musk is one, there are still some people behind him that we don't know at the moment.

don't think anyone really believes in Elon Musk anymore
Surely some still believe in him. With what he accomplished, he's still credible. What I don't like, however, is how a single man can influence the market. For sure he knows how his tweets greatly impact the crypto community and the market overall but he's turning a blind eye on that. In his recent tweets, he stated that Tesla suspended vehicle purchases through bitcoin, which clearly has a negative impact on the market. Tweets about bitcoin and doge instantly pump/dump depending on how his tweet goes. Every tweet the man makes instantly becomes a coin.

Then again, this isn't his fault, the community overall still holds how the market would go.

don't think anyone really believes in Elon Musk anymore, Elon Musk is really manipulating the market, he wants to drop the beginner mentality in bitcoin, he tweets negative things, so bitcoin goes down, and scares the beginner, scares someone else that's where he took a big advantage by collecting lots of coins ...

This is a new tweet and it's a positive one. looks like this man is playing around with the investors and too bad, most of them are completely newbie who relies only on upon if their group told them to do so. They need to know that in order to be successful in the crypto industry, one should avoid the comments of those manipulators. because they've been using those innocent newbie investors for their personal gain and now this tweet by that guy will once again make some noise in the crypto market.
I think that besides playing with the investors, Elon also wants the green energy to be integrated to every aspect of bitcoin because they might be getting something out of it. I don't really care if it is for personal gain as long as the market is going strong.

People don't care anymore about Elon's tweet. He came to be a person who hasn't respect by people. And now, whatever he said just ignored it.

Maybe tomorrow he will come to bring his new coin as McAfee did, that is a fact to be true if he still on that tweet.

-Elon Musk tweeted about Tesla not accepting Bitcoin as a payment method
This fud gets success because people believe in the big usecase of Bitcoin on Tesla. Honestly, how many people will actually use Bitcoin to buy Tesla electric cars. People exaggerated the Tesla adoption and now they got side effects from it.

-Bitcoin price falls after China calls for crackdown on bitcoin mining and trading behavior
China can get benefit from both Bitcoin mining and crypto tradings. Hey, if you are Chinese government, will do you self-destroy your chances to get more money for your nation?

Restrictions on scams are good and should be done as seriously as possible. No nation will open their laws for scam attempts. Do you think that is what China will more seriously control, ban, and crack down?

It is not about Elon Musk, it is about his community fans. Elon Musk has recently taken an interest in Bitcoin and its technology due to its spike in price and its adoption recommendations. Surely, he used to see it more utopian and now he sees it more realistic. In any case, he may have been too quick to open the doors to Teslas' purchases with Bitcoin.  I think he should has studied it better.  However he has always been transparent and has tweeted his thoughts at all times.  I don't think it was manipulation.  I think this is more about people, who always speculate and speculation leads to these pumps and dumps...

฿itcoin for all, All for ฿itcoin.
Here are a few questions I would like to ask you OP  Wink

1. Bitcoin has been here for almost 12 years old, Elon mask has had an idea of payment systems and the internet from the 1990's. Where has he been for the 12 years since the inception of Bitcoin?

2. Where was he during the crypto bear market in 2018?

3. Why does he care about Bitcoin's dynamics right all off a sudden when Bitcoin went past $20K?

I will tell you why. He's in the game to manipulate and make profits. Let nobody be fooled that Elon cares about bitcoin. He doesn't. He and all those rich assholes only care about getting richer.

I agree, it seems that bitcoin investors have enough of Elon's tweet and trying his best to put bitcoin in bad light. In any case though, he might be manipulating the price, for all we know, he or his company as buying bitcoin at his current dip and filling their bags with cheap bitcoin.

And it seems that he is doing this as a business person,  and he might pitch his renewable solar panel at some point to this so called environment friendly argument of his.

Degen in the Space
The massive dump happened when Elon Musk tweeted about Tesla not accepting Bitcoin as a payment method, whereas a lot of people also lost investment especially beginners who recently put money hoping for a huge pump. After that, a massive fud has happened simultaneously like all of it was all planned and most of us are really f*cked up, -50% loss in the portfolio.

List of fuds that makes the crypto market crash:
-Elon Musk tweeted about Tesla not accepting Bitcoin as a payment method
-Bitcoin price falls after China calls for crackdown on bitcoin mining and trading behavior

Elon, in my opinion, is truly manipulating the market by issuing a statement on his Twitter account that is very influential to the majority of people in the crypto scene without DYOR even his people that are engineers can't assess the reality of bitcoin mining! He stated that BTC isn't good for the environment and having a huge power consumption but many of the experts have already debunked his statement.

I've read also a topic here that also debunks the claim about power consumption. ---> Debunking the "Bitcoin is an environmental disaster" argument.
and here's another one. https://coinshares.com/assets/resources/Research/bitcoin-mining-network-june-2019-fidelity-foreword.pdf

Then what happened, whales buying into the dip, and so on...

https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1396914548167233537

Elon Musk tweeted this as if he truly cares, despite the fact that he is the one who started the fud and made early decisions before putting it into action.
I think Elon is manipulating the market, taking advantage of all those who are following in his footsteps, and it makes me fearful that the sole purpose of crypto being decentralized may be lost soon if the manipulation continues. What do you think?

Edited. The sole purpose of this is to raise awareness of Elon Musk's actions among new traders, so I completely agree with the majority of the responses on my thread.
