I think you are right, Ethereum will not make new ATH this year. The same is for Bitcoin and many other alt-coins. I didn't expect too see
this huge drop, after this we will need a lot of time for recovery.
I will not panic or anything, I did not lose my faith in crypto-currencies, I just think that now we need to be patient and keep what we
have until we put all this behind us, and for that we will need months if not years.

lol we are just in 1st Quarter so what can you expect?and remember in January and February we have been in
growing stage before this corona virus take place and Gives us this downtrend.
Dont forget that Halving is coming
near and the expectation for this is very High so Better not to Judge the Ethereum price the way you see market now instead
wait for the whole year of early November to learn what is the real flow of Ethereum and not just because it is falling now.

The quintessence of Ethereum is very good. But I wonder if it will ever reach a new all time high.

If it happens, it means dApps will become mainstream, at this point it's a gamble IMO. Something else, Ethereum else is way too correlated with Bitcoin at the moment. If Bitcoin ended up dying and Ethereum managed to survive (since they are fundamentally different), then it's possible to see a massive bullish run, but that is a big if, still in 2020.

Apparently ETH will not achieve anything more this year, because ETH simply will not be able to grow on its own when the rest of the market will fall, for ETH to achieve something, it needs general market growth.

Achieving ATH is not easy and it takes a lot of time for this to come true. just hope that bitcoin can stabilize at $ 8700- $ 9000 before halving, because when halving starts, dumps usually occur, after halving history says that prices can be up to 3x, if stable at that price I think ethereum can increase and not just Ethereum alone , but other altcoins will also go up

It has been long time that would be happen Ill think we can experience more down trend about bitcoin before bitcoin be going you said a 3x of price. Actually that was high amount of bitcoin if that will be true, So for we need to be believe on bitcoin that will comeback again into a price of $10,000 or more than on at.

but the main question is when? If you ask me, that's a big question to answer.

Yes ETH will hit all time high but you should also clarify the duration of your bets.
If it would be only for this year or this month or for the next 5 years.
If it is for this month then no, But if it is for this year or for the next 5 years then there is a chance.

Read some articles on Ethereum development in 2020, perhaps the price of Ethereum will increase. But nobody dares to make sure that this year Ethereum will surge very high.
