They have a community and you can visit them and do some analysis on how NEO will be right for you to choose as an altcoin that is used as an investment center. On CoinMarketCap the price is currently around $42 and it has been growing for quite some time.
Apart from several reasons, NEO did not show successful projects this year. Which they should be more aggressive this year as other altcoins have launched successful projects in the market.

I don't see any reason to buy Neo when there are so many good projects recently. Neo had a lot of hype four years ago in 2017 but since then it has failed to deliver anything noticeable.
