I think it's the end of bounties era as users don't trust bounties anymore due to the scam projects and greedy developers who don't have intention of rewarding users for their efforts but rather just wants to use them as a tool of marketing. In order to gain trust we need some good projects which does not scam investor's and provide rewards for hunters and list the project in good exchange.

It is surely not over though, it is not that profitable at all! I have been doing bounties for more than 2 years now and 2017 to Q1 2018 is the real deal cause I was able to earn a lot and even built a house because of it but as we move along, when these scam projects popped up there are no real projects, earnings starting to fall over as well! but hopefully, when the market is really good for sure everything, every sector of crypto will rise again including doing bounties.

not over, but many bounty programs have failed and there is also a scam bounty.
I think the bounty program will always be there. it's just that there is no real bounty currently paying right.

I don't think the Bounty program is over.
Of course, the ICO market has died a lot, but I think the Bounty program will continue until a new marketing plan is released.
Or if there is a new marketing plan that I don't know about, please let me know.
Bounty campaigns is not yet over but it was change a lot comparing before, Most of the new projects nowadays are not even raised its soft cap to continue the project and also pay the bounty hunters, aside from that reality bounty campaigns today are creating a new norms that often disadvantageous to all bounty hunters, But some campaigns are still worthy to promote in order to gain some few bucks but overall bounty campaigns are not reliable and profitable anymore.

I think the bounty program does not end, of course the project needs marketing to market the sales of the tokens, and that is where the bounty hunter plays in introducing the project to investors. although at present the results of the bounty hunter are unsatisfactory, I think this is reasonable, because investor confidence has not yet recovered

The investors are just frustrated about what had happened from 2018-2019 and so they are not investing to any projects right now since the market is yet not in a good condition. But once the market began to have green signs all over everyday and BTC gone up to $15k, the trust will be restored little by little. Investors may one again come and this I GUESS is all for the money and then bounty campaigns will probably be profitable again for the users.

Bounties are still there, it was just hard to detect one these days. Due to many history of scamming, failed projects and not yet paying bounties it's getting harder to know which of which is worth spending our effort in ICO bounties. But I still see it's potential profit in the future once a better marketing like projects putting real budget for bounties from their early partnership or investors and ICO detector or regulation created it can be like 2017 bounties again may not be that big in reward amounts but atleast a legit and paying ones.

Bounty continues to grow every day even the bounty ICO sales are still many who participate in the bounty means that there are still people believe in the bounty and ICO as well, but I also do not rely on the benefits of the bounty because it is difficult to guess and I think there is still another way to generate profits other than bounty.

As long as there are bottomfeeding bounty spammers who dont care about spam in this forum and only how to abuse bounties to fill their ulcerated stomachs, they will continue.

I sense a dangerous level of hostility in your words here. So what if someone is poor and trying to earn small amounts of money to feed themselves and their family? Why do you look down upon them?
The bounty spammers exist because the forum is run in a way that does not put a stop to shit like that.

No need to disgrace the "bottom feeders". I know not all bottom feeders are poor and depraved people but rather just multi account farming shitfucks, but still dude. Let's not look down upon the shittery that we ourselves have created.

Earnings through bounty programs there will always be, but very difficult to be some value. Bounties and bounty hunters as a phenomenon, there are a lot longer than cryptocurrencies.
Problem with bounty here is because we have too much new shell projects with no value and no real idea behind. Of course, bounty rewards from these shit projects can't worth anything then we have poor statistics, where is one program has some value and 99 is wasting a time. If bounty hunters decide to do not join in suspicious programs, we would have had a slightly better stats.
For devaluation of bounty programs can thank the bounty hunters. Automated tasks, one person who control 50 or 100 accounts do not bring investors. waste of money.

If what you mean is profitable, there's hardly anymore, out of 10, maybe 1 or 2 are a legit campaign, ICO is dying there's no doubt about it, but bounty campaign is not for ICO anymore there are a lot of projects that are already in the market, that's still doing a bounty campaign, there's nothing wrong with bounty campaign and it will stay on,  what harm the bounty hunters are the scam projects that continue to lose investor's confidence.

Nothing gets over like that. But the value does end with time. Bounty programs were the new advertisement campaigns of ICOs. At one time they used to pay good amount of tokens which could be sold for a good price. Thats is done for now. But the programs still exists - spamming hundreds of pages for their threads in the Altcoins Bounties section of this forum.

A project can become innovative in developing a new marketing method other than just a bounty campaign. A physical meetup and coin distribution to users may be a good thing in terms of high class investors but at the risk of losing their privacy which is more important in the crypto ecosystem - this is more common in stock market trading. Just an idea to ponder over. Wink
