^^^ Thailand and the Philippines are going to be prime targets for the ISIS in South-east Asia. The reasons are the following:

1. More than 95% of the population is non-Muslim
2. A large section of the Muslim population in these countries are sympathetic to the ISIS
3. Both these nations have porous borders, through which foreign fighters can infiltrate.

I don't know why you are having so much doubt regarding it. The ISIS has already accepted the Maute group as one of their factions and they have even sent foreign fighters (Arabs, Chechens.etc) to fight with the Maute group.

Yup, there was a mix of Arabs, Yemen, Chechens, and Indonesians among the terrorists the army managed to kill. Indonesia last month reported they had intelligence sources saying that they have nationals moving into Philippines to fight with Muslim groups. The Philippine government denied that, of course. Just this week though, they admitted there are already around a hundred Indonesian fighters in the area.

It would get worse as Southeast Asians that fought for ISIS start coming back to their countries as ISIS lose ground. They be starting similar attacks in their respective countries. Not to mention other fighters in Iraq and Syria would also come in, as has already started happening.

Should southern Philippines fall, it would become a base for further expansion in Southeast Asia. I believe Thailand would be the next target, since like the Philippines it is considered kuffar land. I believe it was last year that there was a bombing in Bangkok where the police arrested a Thai Malay woman and her Turkish husband. Those likely have ISIS links but authorities downplayed the links.

I never knew that there was a lot of Muslims in the Philippines,  but if there is , then there is no doubt that this is an ISIS affiliated terrorist organization and they must be rooted out very fast.these organization needs to be stopped in their early stages lest they become a thorn in the flash of the people as time goes by.

Unless ISIS say they aren't, if they claim it, then they are considered to be ISIS.

ISIS is not organized like Al Qaeda. It's more of a "philosophy" (of chaos) than a structured group.

Yes it's true, they were raising the flag of ISIS and that's why they are affiliated with it.
