Of course, if the politicians will agree, and will not desire to increase the arms race. Can you imagine what funds are spent on defense.
If the country ceased to claim the title of super power, it certainly would not have so much to spend on arms.

It's remote but of course there's a chance. We have to believe in it because if we don't, that chance will be lost to us. Understanding and respect would be basic in achieving this goal and i still believe that there will come a day we're going to realize that life can be much easier that way

These barriers will always be there. Religion will exist as long as humanity exist on this planet. Organized religious groups are getting stronger every day. And the racial barrier is also impossible to exterminate. It is genetic and there is nothing that we can do about it.

There is a chance of a peaceful co-existence if all the barriers within the humanity are destroyed. The religion barrier, the racial wall and the difference in power in each country. If all of these are gone, there will be another chance for humans to evolve. Instead of using the money for arms and weapons, we could use that as research funding for the good of mankind.

There is a chance. We just need to grab it.

I think based on experience that there is no chance even for peaceful coexistence inside a block of flats...

Space is infinite my friend. We have all the resources that we will ever need. The only real danger to our existence is ourselves.

Not in the near future. As long as religions such as Christianity and Islam exist, there will be fighting and competition for the "souls". And countries such as the United States are continuing to bully the smaller nations (such as Libya and Syria) with their military might. Even China has intensified their bullying efforts against their neighbors.

I can tell you that there was no such discovery. To this date, the simplest and therefor the most probable scientific theory is that there is no God and that it is simply a lie made to benefit the few. All the prophets were kings and collected taxes, it is in the Bible, I assume it is in Quran as well where they collect taxes.
Kings and religions always went together.

We have all this knowledge about big bang and that time couldn't exist before that due to special relativity. We know that 95% of things in religious text never happened, like the Noah's ark, or that it never will, like in Revelation where they say that stars will fall from the sky (quite impossible). We know that they never predicted anything correctly, most things about the past are wrong, many predictions are impossible and all of the possible ones only add complications to our current theories.

If you want to believe, then believe. But that is just what it is, believing. You can't logically get to the conclusion that religions are nothing other then a lie, but you can believe whatever you want. Remember that belief isn't logic.

If you wasn't scared into it when you were younger, when you didn't understand already how the world was created from the scientific point of view, then if I told you now something like that, you wouldn't believe me. That is the obvious truth. If I tell you something that seems highly improbable and more complex theory that doesn't explain nothing else that science already does and I had a clear benefit of you believing in it, you would be naive to believe me.

But that is logic. You can believe what you were thought as a child that somehow that was exactly the truth and everyone else who was thought a different story on another part of the world is wrong. Maybe it is, maybe you were born and hit the jackpot and were thought the truth, but know that if you were born somewhere else in another family, you definitively wouldn't.

There is, but the only way that could happen is if the nations of the world had a common goal. It could be a common enemy or an incoming disaster. In such moment they wouldn't be thinking of fighting between themselves but unite to overcome.
Nowadays people are comfortably living in their homes, watching tv and they are getting bored. Admit it, you like watching the news of Kim launching nukes at his neighbors, don't you? It's like watching a live action When people are scared they get together, start to unite.

You don't believe in afterlife i suppose. I can't make you understand. Google for parellal universe and afterlife. I think science made some discovery. After that read the holy Quran. I am not asking you to believe. Just requesting you to read. Reading it won't make you a terrorist (muslim) as western media promotes.
