this year has shown that few who have an interest in the ico , in September, generally 98% of the projects hadn't even Packed soft cap , I think after a reversal the market for the ico also will go up 
I don't think this year is bad for crypto because there has many good ICO's which has become successful. But as compared to last year this year seems not so bright as well as profitable.

this year os almost done and i am exited about the next one as it is so interesting to see wht will happen in 2019
This year really turned out to be not the most successful for the ICO, but it has not ended yet, and perhaps December will be more successful than all the other months, in any case, I want to believe in it.
If we are talking about 2018 we already saw the answer of this question. Q1 AND Q2 was great for icos and q3 and q4 was terrible for icos. I am not sure about 2019. It can be good or bad. Everything up to general market conditions but i think 2019 q3 and q4 will be great like 2018 q1. I believe after 2018 q2 market will start to move upwards and icos will start again like before. and we will start to earn some money from icos i hope.

This year there are a lot of bad things related to ICO, starting with the prohibition of advertisements by Facebook, Google and others, the price of Ethereum is falling where most ICOs use Ethereum Network.
