Actually, it is not just in Asian countries where belief in mystical things exists. It is also present in other continents. I believe this thing even exists in some parts of Europe.

My only hope is that they will not win after doing all these weird things, or else they will interpret it as a proof that what they are doing is indeed effective. They will be reinforced to do it again instead of coming to their senses.

This crazy idea of sleeping in graveyards to get some sorts of revelations for gambling is also common in some part of Africa in fact this mystical idea of winning big had assumed dimension where wining numbers are being sort out from mentally unbalanced or mad people, while some people believed this idea works well for them, personally I see wining any of their bet or gamble as a coincidental and luck this is weird and absolutely crazy idea of becoming rich at all cost.

I have no idea what Voodoo is all about and how does ho it works,what I only knew is superstitious because my uncle use to bring me when i was young to the churches or other places that he needs to go before going to cockpit arena.since he was a Cockfighting enthusiast and go there weekly after weekdays of work.what I noticed is he won most of the time but when he missed the ritual surely he will lose.

But of course there’s a chance that it was luck?but until now I’m still believe that it’s the superstition than making him win

I don't think that it has any effect in gambling those superstitious belief,
I just believe that it is all luck but who knows maybe those really works .
I once believe in those kind of things to be honest back then I won numerous times,
But I don't really think that it has anything to do with it ,
Those win was just a pure luck not because of those beliefs because after that I would lose some times too.

For me, I believe in superstition when gambling; I'm not that kind of high roller, but anytime that I gamble, I believe in the luck. The first rumor that I believe in gaming/betting is the beginner's luck. I can say that most gamblers believe in luck, but different superstition and perspective like you said some ppl told that they win in a game believing in their voodoos.

Most people from developed countries and educated people won't believe on voodoo. It is hard to believe what can't be proven nowadays as science is widespread in every aspect of our lives.

I have heard alot of stories about people using voodoo to steal money from others. Well, I think it is very possible but voodoo can mean different things to different people. There are lots of unethical but legal manipulations that should be outright voodoo but people don't consider it so because they sound normal... Things like bluffing, magic tricks, psychological warfare, revealing your approved abominable secrets mixed with laughter/comedy etc,. Real voodoo or real magic exist too. Not everything extraordinary is a trick. "superhuman powers" truely exist. There are Good and the Dark powers.

Yups sometimes I got to believe in this kind of belief because when I was young there was this friend of my uncle that practice Voodoo and other spiritual belief and when he gamble he is winning mostly(but not all of the time things that sometimes doubt me also)but the thing is I am watching while he as playing and I can see the positive effect of Voodoo on him(maybe it was luck?who knows anyway what’s important is the winning he gets from this)I don’t really understand how’s this happening back then maybe just because I am so young that time

I voodoo my bets and I win them sometimes while I lose others. So, I think it's again luck.
If people were to win with voodoo, witches would have been the richest person in the world. But they aren't, neither are the future predictors or magicians.
