certainly it is to get money of course, because with us doing the trade work that we can get money and train also patience when the price of the goods is down

That's right, with trade we can make more money than the capital we develop. but it can all be done if we do it right. such as researching every coin we will sell and always controlling emotions.
And much better than this all is to learn them first. By learning you will come to know how to make the scenario suitable for you. How to customize things so that your output can be best for you. Many people don’t cater this point and start trading with so little knowledge but if the case is inverted and better basic knowledge is already known, the results can be so positive and satisfactory.
Some people just don't understand this basic step of studying first before trying.  Honestly,  the population of traders are growing but effective traders are not.  This may sound rude but not all who do trading will be good traders,  there will always be people who would get tired and stop because they are not getting profit.

Basically,  we do trading to earn money and make a living but we are required to learn things about it in order to succeed.  It may not be easy but once  you get to understand and have a strategy,  good profit will be yours.
Trading is something which is much riskier and the trickiest thing to do and that the ones who are into it have a very much fair idea of how things work in trading and that none of them is this much stupid to invest this much of the money and take such a big risk just for the sake of emotional satisfaction. All the traders who are busy in trading are only doing that because of the reason that they want to earn some good money out of it.

DO YOU WANT TO BE ENTERTAINED OR RICH?…IT’S YOUR CHOICE

I came across this excellent chart the other day. It shows those times in history when the S&P 500 doubled over a ten year period and the trajectory that this doubling took.

Please see here for a relevant chart: https://www.tradinggame.com.au/want-entertained-rich-choice/

Much commentary that followed on twitter related to the steady low volatility climb that characterised the latest run and how boring this was. One of the interesting thing about markets and money in general is that people betray their true desires and personality.

Markets are the true window into the soul and in this instance what traders were actually saying is that they wanted to be entertained and not rich. The constant current moaning about the lack of volatility is little more than the plaintiff cries of children who bedevil their parents every school holidays with cries of …I’m bored.

This lay observation tallies with what others have found. The seminal work in this field of trader immaturity is An Analysis of the Profiles and Motivations of Habitual Commodity Speculators by W.B. Canoles, S.R. Thompson, S.H. Irwin, and V.G. France. I have summarised their findings below and have added my own emphasis.

“The typical trader assumes a good deal of risk in most phases of his life. He is both an aggressive investor and an active gambler.

[He] does not consider preservation of capital to be a very high trading priority.

As a result, he rarely uses stop loss orders. He wins more frequently than he loses (over 51% of the time) but is an overall net loser in dollar terms. In spite of recurring trading losses, he has never made any substantial change in his basic trading style.

To this trader, whether he won or lost on a particular trade is more important than the size of the win or loss. Thus he consistently cuts his profits short while letting his losses run.

He also worries more about missing a move in the market by being on the sidelines than about losing by being on the wrong side of a market move; i.e., being in the action is more important than the financial consequences.

Participating brokers confirmed that for the majority of the speculators studied, the primary motivation for continuous trading is the recreational utility derived largely from having a market position.

Numerous indications in our survey indicate that they are not trading solely or even primarily for profit, but may be maximizing excitement or the number of winning trades.”

So we come back to the original question. Do you want to rich or be entertained as the choice is entirely yours.

“Trading does not have to be very difficult — what can be difficult is finding the right path early on and properly understanding the major impact of your mental state on your trading results” - Gabriel Grammatidis

I think that for every one of us, commercial goals are for profit, because money and no one else has a purpose. The fact that we participate in the market is one of them, so it's just different ways of thinking. If you have the knowledge that you will master your assets and have no clear plan, then you are just like someone who is plunging into the silver and not knowing what the fate will be.

Probably most of people do that for money; I can't call the whole process "satisfying" Smiley

Currently still focus for money because satisfaction can happen when I get what I want in the real world. I am quite happy with my earnings from trading to date, but have not been emotionally satisfied with the expertise in reading indicators and bigger capital allocations, I am still at the intermediate level.
Everyone trade for such thing, when we are able to do this we have this feeling of wanting it more to do so, we aim to try more and make more money in it,so still the root of it is to make money.

in fact I find trading very stressing, specially if it's the only source of income for you and your family. There is always the possibility of losing money, so when you have bills to pay, and you depend on your profits to pay them, it's definitely a very stressful experience. I was a decent poker player, and once I realized I was making enough money to pay my bills I decided to try it full time. It was a terrible experience, and I just had to stop. I now play poker just for fun again, and I appreciate the profit I can get from it, but I don't see how that can work in trading. It's not a game, so you can do it for an extra profit, but it's not for emotional satisfaction....

Obviously I trade for money. Now everyone just knows the money because money is now needed in all cases. There is a lot of money needed to make life comfortable and luxurious.I also do other jobs as well for the money.I'm not the only one to trade for money.
I am not trading nor would do trading just for an emotional satisfaction, if I would do it because I want to earn and not because I don't have anything to do with my money, so for me, trading requires great attention, it does not need to do because you just like but because you want to earn.

I originally traded crypto because I was young and wanted to be rich. Over years of staring at charts I realized that being rich, while important to me, wasn't what drew me to crypto. iIt was the entertainment that hooked me, the constant ups and down rollercoaster. Even though I have more skin in the game than ever now, Its loosing that luster because I've already seen it before, however over he last year, the bull market reawakened my passion.

I trade to get rich as I can, and because it is the msot entertaining thing I can think to do.
It is my job, but I love my job.

I'm just new in crypto trading my way of income now relies on crypto coin so I am trading for money. I want my money to get profit, so I can have income for myself because I don't have regular job. I am not trading just for emotional satisfaction only maybe those who do that are rich already they are excited to take all the risk in investing their money.

I trading according to technical analysis but sometimes im not patient for wait best entry point and then out from the strategies, i make good strategy already but my emotion is hard to control. From this case i think trading is more need good psychology than strategy, we should have very good psychology to avoid loss cause greedy and impatient. Need long process to become pro trader that enable to control emotions.

I'm actually in the crypto trading business to make more profits and further my education. I do all the research on a coin and trade in those coins for money. I see trading as a very lucrative business where you can make much money than even working in some full time jobs.

win lambo...
For money of course.
Even just a little profit, I'll take it.
Satisfaction is just a bonus for me.
Maybe someday if I reach that lambo/moon level, trading is just gonna be some kind of entertainment for me, who knows.
I know it will be stressful living a life which is mostly concerned on the profits you will gain.It demands too much hardworks and time to make it possible. But the reward in the end is really worth waiting for.Trading is all about money, and emotional satisfaction will only have its place after you have gained money satisfaction.

Right.Profit is what we are looking forward to have so we should focus on it.If you only trade just for emotional satisfaction,i guess it's as good as gambling wherein you will be entertained.Maybe i will come to that point in times i have gained already huge profits from my trading.

DO YOU WANT TO BE ENTERTAINED OR RICH?…IT’S YOUR CHOICE
You're right its my choice and everyone's choice what they want to be in trading.
I,, myself i want to be rich that is the very reason why i do trading and learning as much as i can, i would play gambling rather than risking on gambling if its only a emotional satisfaction and somehow i cannot become happy if i do trade because it is more stressful.
Two things do really have significant usage or purpose which as being said it would be entertainment or making money. This is why most people will always choose up gambling because they do believe they can attain that thing on playing gambling because of fast and instant results but if you are a wise man you would able to see which one would give the opportunity or chance on getting rich which can be achieved by doing trading. It is indeed stressful but very rewarding once you get the idea.

This is also what I see in myself when I first heard the trading and started investing in it, I don't know what it is but being a trader gives me excitement from the start of choosing which I will buy, hold or sell. It gives me a certain feeling of happiness that I can even explain why I'm feeling it. Although I experience loss in this process but the knowledge and experience that I felt is just amazing.
