Last year in early december I bought eBitcoin token which turned out to be a scam. Luckily for me I sold them before the ePRX snapshot but alot others have made losses. I really believed this token would be a succes but I've realized that alot of these ERC20 tokens have the same things in common. The devs (or better said scammers) create alot of hype and pretend their token to be the real deal while they never intended to create a working product. I've thought about investing in tokens like Credits and Elixir but I'm afraid they are all the same kind of scam.

Do you trust them?

Whether you like it or not, crypto business is prone to scams. Some people are lucky to invest on a legit one and some also are unlucky to be scammed. What I would emphasize here is that, erc20 tkens is still trustworthy to invest even with all these negative feedbacks about scams. Why? Because erc20 tokens are some sort of start-ups for new and upcoming altcoins in the market.

Most ICOs are using the ERC ERC20 platform, which demonstrates its reliability and quality. I still believe in ETH, I believe ETH is doing well and developing its technology

Why we shouldnt trust erc-20 tokens? ERC-20 is the most popular standart of tokens, which is used by 100% of market. Yes, the have some disadvantages, but they still are very good to use it.

I trust the protocol erc20. many projects use this protocol if it were not secure - it would not be used

2017 and 2018 are not cryptocurrency year i think because there are so many scam ICO. before we invest on ERC20 tokens make sure you already study the project carefully.make a research is a must for you to avoid scam project. I think ERC20 tokens still have a great potential to grow but it needs more time.

In as much as I trust some ERC20 token, I think it is for each situation awesome to be careful and analyze about the token before you place assets into it in light of the fact that there are in like manner some which are not worth placing assets into. A real research will empower you to know which one is better when you read through the whitepaper and think the guide and spreadsheet definitely and steadily.

Yes, but not so much that others do. Tokens are not so confident 'insurance' for me which can encourage my decision in participating in various projects.

from the very first time i started on this bitcoin or whatsoever about altcoins, erc20 and so on, i gave all my trust and i am the one who shoulder all about this coins, because nobody can blame except you, if you love what you are doing then others follow just like what you trusted for.

Maybe erc20 is just the most popular token to do ico on a project. Everyone can make tokens, and of course that will be used by some people who do have the purpose of fraud. But whenever crypto will never be clean from a scammer. What we can do is keep trying to educate ourselves, because even people who are longer in this field also have the same doubts.

There is no problem with ERC20 tokens. It is all about projects which are turning into scams. If you trust ethereum, you can trust ERC20 tokens.

Beginners ask a lot of fun questions, the answers to which have long been given. I think before investing money in ICO or in coins you should first study the theoretical foundations of the blockchain and understand how the cryptocurrency market works.

I trust these tokens, but at the moment I see a strong decline in the crypto currency market, so I stopped investing in an alternative coin.

Of course, many ERC20 based projects are scam because it is very easy to create such a token. But scam projects exist not only in this field and many projects that use ERC20 create real and useful products.

Yes, I continue to believe in them. Now a very sad situation in the market and lot of scammers in any tokens. But I know projects that are hard not to believe. Too successful team with implementation experience and really innovative product.

Like with everything in Crypto, it really depends on the coin and the team. As far as security, I've read of some tokens that have had flaws. Like the ability for the creator to generate more tokens.
